Several days H626 and the rest of the clones were fully tested and weapon certified. With the tests done the clones were ready to go into the battlefield. The clones were lead to the teleporters and beamed down to a jungle planet that had been giving the Horde a hard time. Apparently a group of well trained enemy soldiers armed with some new weapon had created a heavily fortified hidden base located in the jungle. The Horde had been having a great deal of trouble locating the base and taking out the enemy. Many clones and drones had been lost in the jungle seeking out the base. The new group of clones, along with H626 had the same mission as the previous units sent out to locate the base. H626 was thrilled about the mission and curious about what kind of weapon the enemy was using against the Horde.

The clones began their mission and went deep into the jungle. As they traveled H626 couldn't help, but feel like he and his brothers were being watched and it wasn't by Prime. The enemy had placed a few cameras scattered around the jungle and were currently watching the clones progress on some computer monitors in their base

"Another group of clones have entered sector 3." Said a technician.

"Fire up the disrupter and send a few spider drones to destroy the clones." Said the enemy captain.

"Right away sir." Said the technician as he pressed a few buttons on his keyboard.

Back in the jungle the clones were still making their way, when they all just suddenly stopped and began to look around with uneasiness and confusion. H626 blinked his eyes in confusion and he put a hand to his head. His connection to the hive mind had become disrupted. H626 could still get faint connections to the hive mind, but there was a great deal of interference. This must have something to do with the enemy's secret weapon and would explain why so many clones had fallen prey to them. H626 looked at his brothers and saw to his dismay that the weapon was affecting them more then him. Some clones were ripping at their hair and banging their hands against their head as they screamed they could barely hear Prime, a few clones fell to the ground and began to weep, and a couple of clones looked like they were fixing to run in the direction they came. The clones had been reduced to an utter disorganized mess. Order needed to be restored and H626 was fixing to try and restore order, when four large round robots with spider legs arrived on the scene and began to fire lasers at the clones.

H626 got behind a tree to avoid being shot by the lasers. Several clones were quickly taken down by the lasers and the rest were scrambling to get away. H626 gritted his teeth and waited, until one of the robots was facing away from him and then he came out from his cover and fired his arm blaster at the robot and blew a hole in it causing the machine to collapse. Another robot turned to face H626 and fired a laser blast at him. H626 managed to dodge the attack and returned fire blasting a hole in the robot and causing it to collapse as well. The other two robots sensed the threat H626 presented and focused on him forcing the clone to retreat. H626 looked at his brothers, who were watching him and gave a command.

"Attack!"

The clones blinked their eyes in confusion. They weren't sure about taking commands from someone who wasn't Prime, but seeing as they weren't getting any directions or commands from Prime through the hive mind, they supposed that they had no choice. Following a fellow clone was better then no one. The clones opened fire at the robots and soon both were on the ground in smoking heaps. H626 let out a small sigh of relief.

Back at the enemy base, the captain and his technicians stared at the screen showing the wrecked robots. This was an unexpected outcome. Usually the clones were to busy freaking out about their lost connection to the hive mind to fight back against the robots. Yet one clone didn't act like the others, had successfully taken out two robots and had rallied the other clones into taking out the other two. This was concerning.

"What should we do? That one clone isn't acting like the others." Said one technician.

"There's no need to worry. That one clone was probably some kind of fluke. His only one clone and the rest of the clones are in disarray. They can't find the base so they pose no threat to us. Will pick them off one by one." Said the captain as he looked at a screen that displayed an image of H626.

H626 looked at his fallen brothers and then at the rest of his unit, who have gone back to panicking due to interference messing with their connection to the hive mind. The Horde unit may have survived their little battle, but the war was still on.

To be continued.
