A/N ~ Success! I have managed to log back in on my laptop and it seems to be working. the reason I have barely uploaded on this story is because I have two other stories on the go and a lot of schoolwork. Also, I procrastinate. A lot. Also I have a really short attention span so my point being is that I promise i'll upload more and stop starting more things before I finish them! Anyway, reviews make my day so drop a few of them and favourite it so you won't miss new chapters hehe. Enjoy my Pansycakes! ~ J

FLASHBACK|URIAH POV

"I'm going to get some cake before Helen gives it all away." He says as he rises from his seat before falling to his knees and letting out a high-pitched whine of despair. I look up and see a certain blonde-haired initiate walking away with the last slice.

"Oh no. Zeke come back!" Shauna shouts across the canteen and I follow their gaze to where my idiot of a brother is now rapidly approaching Tris.

"Oh for god sake." I groan because there's nothing I can do but watch now. This will certainly be interesting.

FLASHBACK|TRIS POV

I see a taller version of Uriah walking towards me (that must be his brother) and wonder about changing my path to where I'm sitting to avoid him. One Uriah is enough, I don't need two of them! Regardless, I stand my ground and keep walking until he stands towering over me. Now - out of the corner of my eye – I see Uriah and a mousy-haired girl watching the scene unfold amongst the rest of the Dauntless born and members. Even the leaders have stopped talking to watch it and I feel a nervousness wash over me because I'm not sure whether they stopped because he's stupid or because he's going to kill me.

"You took the last piece of cake. My cake." He pouts.

"Oh well," I say taking a bite. "You can have it if you want."

"Really?" He asks hopefully and I can't help picturing him as a baby being told he can have a new toy.

I take another bite, slightly larger than before and nod. "Oh yeah."

"So…are you gonna give it to me or?" he asks again as I take another bite.

"Oh. I meant you could have it if you catch me first." I say and curse at myself mentally because even If I was faster than him, he's still got longer legs than me but there's nothing I can do about it now I made the proposition. So, I run.

I sprint around the tables and I hear laughter and cheers erupt around me as I skid round the corner. In any other faction, this would be frowned upon – especially in Abnegation – and everyone involved would be reprimanded but here, they just cheer you on and I can hear people calling out 'Stiff' and cheering for me while others shout for 'Zeke'. Huh. That must be his name.

My ability to run and eat without choking is unmatched and I soon clear the plate before doing something I never thought I'd do. I jump on the table and wave the empty plate in the air. Lynn and Uriah really are bad influences.

Zeke slides to a halt just before the benches and offers a hand to help me down. Everyone else begins turning back to their meal.

"Nice. I don't think that's ever happened before. I'm Zeke and you-"

"Ezekiel! My dear brother!" Uri shouts, slinging an arm over his siblings' shoulder and I giggle.

"Your name is Ezekiel?" I snort and he looks unimpressed.

"Legally, yes. Really, its Zeke."

"Oh no. I'm definitely calling you that." I laugh and he sighs.

"So, are you going by no name or are you going to introduce yourself?"

"It's Tris." I say and Uriah snickers.

"Beatrice more like." I glare at him because I thought he was on my side.

"Oh cheers Uri. Just expose me why don't you?" I say and he bows before sneaking away.

"Oh no. I'm definitely calling you that." He laughs, copying me and I groan.

"See you around Ezi!" I shout as I move back to my table.

"Not if I see you first Bea!"

FLASHBACK|MAX POV

I sigh and rub my hand over my face. As entertaining as that was, I think I see a friendship there and if I'm right (let's be real – I always am) it's going to be mayhem. I sit back and take another look at me sealed fate. I'm going to be grey before I am 25.
