Chapter 4 Victory

H626 watch his brothers stress out about their current situation as he began to explore the surrounding area. He found a few cameras and quickly destroyed them. At least now the enemy couldn't see what his unit was up to and it gave him and his brothers a little breathing room. H626 turned his attention back to his brothers and began to address them.

"Brothers calm yourselves! This is no way for members of the Horde to behave. We may have connection difficulty with Horde Prime, but we are still members of the Horde and we have a mission to complete. The enemy is hiding in the shadows and we are the light that will pierce them and cast out the shadows! Glory to the Horde! Glory to Prime!"

The words reached the clones and seemed to bring them to their senses. The clones began to chant.

"Cast out the shadows!"

"Cast out the shadows!"

"Glory to the Horde!"

"Glory to Prime!"

H626 smiled at his accomplishment and turned his attention to one of the robots that wasn't too badly damaged and got an idea. He went over to the robot, hunched over, opened a hatch on the side of it, and began to fiddle with it's wires. A few minutes the robot was back on and stood up. The clones pointed their blasters at ready to shoot, but H626 stopped them with a raised hand. H626 faced the robot, who looked directly at him.

"Return to base." Ordered H626.

The robot turned and began to walk away. H626 began to follow the robot and the clones followed him. Half an hour later the group came across a mountain and what appeared to be a solid wall in front of them. The robot approached the wall and it slid apart revealing what appeared to be a military base. A few guards stared at the robot and the clones in shock. Before the guards could attack or sound the alarm H626 struck first.

"Attack!" Yelled H626 as he quickly blasted the guards knocking them down.

The other clones and the robot began to attack taking the staff of the base completely by surprise. H626 lead the attack shouting instructions to his unit as they fought their way through the base. The group eventually made their way to the control room, where the enemy captain and his technicians were. The door to the control was blasted off and H626 stormed it with his brothers. The enemy captain tried to pull his blaster out, but H626 leveled his arm blaster at him and made him toss his weapon away. H626 turned his attention to the technicians and their computers and began to study them. It took him a few seconds to figure out that these were the controls of the device that had been causing interference with the hive mind.

"A impressive device you have here, but it only delayed us. Kindly turn it off." Said H626.

The technicians did as they were told. H626 could feel his full connection to the hive mind and so could the other clones. Victory was theirs. A nearby clone shook slightly as Prime took control of it and looked around the conquered base pleased. The others clones and H626 bowed before Prime as he walked amongst them. He stopped before the enemy captain raised his arm blaster and shot the man in the chest instantly killing the man before he hit the ground. Prime went over to H626.

"Well done little brother. These people were proving to be a real nuisance to our mission, but you dealt with quit well. I'm very pleased." Said Prime.

"Thank you brother. I live to serve you and to spread your light to the universe." Said H626.

"And you have shown your worth and skill this day little brother. If you continue to display victories like this, you will greatly be rewarded. For now I shall grant you the use of better armor and weapons. Prime rewards those who please him." Said Prime.

"Thank you brother! I will continue to serve you and bring more victories to the Horde." Said H626.

"I look forward to your victories little brother." Said Prime before he left the clone's body.

The mission had been a success and H626 had proven himself in battle. He was rewarded with better armor and weapons. H626 was slowly rising through the ranks of the Horde.
