Sorry I've been out of commission for a bit. I'm still working on recovering my lost stories although that is looking less hopeful and now multiple things have happened such as my great grandma permanently out of commission and having to go to the hospital for migraines from dehydration although I was drinking fine. Anyway I'm back although a bit off so this is a short chapter. Bug Out :)
"Tikki, there you are. Where did you go?" Marinette sighed with relief upon feeling my presents back in her purse.
"Had to talk to another kwami," I offered, technically it was true.
"Ok?" Mari questioned.
"Hurry it's next class, I'm gonna get lunch," I replied before she could think anything odd of my behavior, I fazed back into her purse before leaving when she was distracted with Adrien. I floated back through the floor to discover the basement a jelly and crumb coated mess.
"Daifa, Daifa! Where are you?" I panicked as I searched through the box fort mess.
"Mamma!" Daifa cheered, clapping her hands.
"Oh Daifa, you're ok," I yelped as I floated quickly over to hug her. I hugged her cheek and she hugged me back, nearly crushing me. I floated back and started cleaning up the basement after building Daifa a new, re-enforced, box castle.
"Mamma!" Daifa's startled voice suddenly called. I dropped the box I was holding and raced over to Daifa's fort that was glowing with a pink light.
"Daifa," I shouted as I hugged her hand.
"Pink," Daifa explained. I looked towards the cause of her distastes to see multiple, small, floating, pink orbs.
"Daifa what happened?" I asked slowly in shock. Daifa waved her hands which I now realized were glowing pink. As her hands waved more spheres appeared.
"Mamma!" She smiled happily, Daifa clapped her hands and the balls turned into superhero doll like shapes.
"You have powers, of course you have powers- you are a kwami after all," I gasped in shock. I watched as the pink figures played with each other as Daifa sat beside me. Ok it was time to teach Daifa to go in her necklace, and control her powers.
"Pow-pow, ya," Daifa cheered as the pink Ladybug doll flopped on the Hawkmoth doll knocking him to the ground. I laughed, Daifa already knowing the good side even at her young age.
"Daifa, stop please," I coaxed. She frowned but glared at the dolls- freezing them. "Good job Daifa, now disappear them," I instructed, gently placing my hands on her shoulder. She looked confused and I pointed to the figures which in turn stopped glowing pink and turned into regular toy dolls. I floated over to the Ladybug doll to find it totally materialized. I held it confused at how the pink element had transformed into a plushy doll before realizing I didn't have time to ponder the odd ability.
"Mamma," Daifa asked, as she tottled over to me.
"Daifa, if you can enter your pendant I can get lunch," I suggested, not wanting anymore chaos while I left for a minute to reassure Mari and get some lunch. Daifa looked confused so I pointed to the necklace again. She smiled before hiding behind the jewelry, I laughed at her antic's though still not sure how to train her to go in the pendant.
"Hahaha," Daifa laughed.
"Ok, new plan," I decided. I waved my arms and created a box like shape, a red and black spotted playpen appeared although the shape was a little disoriented. Now just how to get Daifa into it, of course I had forgotten to add a door. As I looked at the playpen Daifa let out a worried call.
"Mamma?"
"Daifa, what-what happened?" I asked as she floated past my head. She tumbled back towards me after bouncing off a box. I floated up to help her but she crashed into me sending me spiraling across the room.
"MAMMA!" Daifa shouted dizzily. Oh dear. I floated back to her and clung to her hand as she spun, trying to steady her. Finally she balanced and although she was unsteady and wobbly she wasn't crashing anymore. I pushed her above the playpen then realized she was still floating and I had no idea how to get her down, this was gonna be a lot harder than I thought. I sighed and prayed that Daifa would be ok while I went back to Marinette so she wouldn't wonder where I was. I floated through the ceiling and back to Mari's purse just in time.
"Ready for lunch Tikki?" She asked, I nodded and pretended not to hear the thump that came from the basement. I'll be back soon Daifa, I promise.
