Chapter 12
After there best friends date, Beca woke up this morning to 4 text messages all from Aubrey. Reading each one she rolled her eyes, it was Aubrey once again reminding her about the meeting today for the Beats tour. After sending a quick "I know Bree" she went down to the kitchen for a quick bite. After she ate she headed to shower. Once stepping out and walking into her room, she let out a scream and clutched her chest.
"Jesus Stace! Your going to give me a heart attack one of these days. I will haunt your ass." Beca said regaining her breath.
Laughing "Oh stop being so dramatic Becs. And you better haunt me, even after your gone I'll still need my Beca fix." Stacie said.
"Your ridiculous. Anyway not that I'm not happy to see you and all but what are you doing here?" Beca asked going to her closet.
"Well I know you got that meeting tonight and I figured you needed to go and buy something nice to wear. Which happens to be my area of expertise." Stacie said smiling.
With a loud groan "Stace I don't need to buy anything. I was planning on wearing my normal attire." Beca really didn't want to go dress shopping. She despised shopping to begin with.
"Nope not happening B. I'm going to make sure you look extra fine tonight." Stacie said walking towards the closet.
"Did Bree put you up to this?" Asked Beca.
"What no! I just want to go shopping with my best friend." Stacie said pouting.
"Ughhh fine. Just please stop pouting." Beca said grabbing a black Mac Miller most dope tank top and a pair of black and yellow Jordan 1s to pair with the camo shorts she had on.
"Yay!" Stacie squealed "And besides it was CR who said you needed to clean up." Stacie shrugged.
"Clean up? What's that suppose to mean?" Beca asked.
"I don't know Becs. But she is your publicist." Stacie said as they walked down the stairs.
Beca shook her head as she adjusted her beanie and sunglasses. They walked out the door and headed towards Stacie's Range Rover. The one thing Beca hated about going out was how she always had to cover up to better blend in. The car ride was filled with the two singing along and laughing. Once they reached the shopping plaza they thought would be best Beca stopped Stacie as they got out the car.
"Hey Stace." Beca said.
"Yeah Becs." Stacie said looking at her small friend.
"I was wondering if you wanted to come with to this meeting?" Beca asked.
"Really? Of course I would." Stacie said hugging Beca.
"Alright legs no need to suffocate me with your tits." Beca said laughing.
"Oh you love the goodies and you know it." Stacie said groping her self.
"I mean they are comfortable." Beca smirked.
The two laughed as they walked into the store. They both were browsing when all of a sudden CR FaceTimed Beca.
"What's up CR?" Beca asked.
"Beca why the hell is a video of you trending where you're only wearing your bra and underwear?" CR asked not amused.
Both girls laughed at this "Oh yeah CR that was apart of Beca losing to me in strip pool yesterday." Stacie answered.
"And just why did you feel the need to post it?" CR asked raising a brow.
"Oh come on CR you got to admit it was pretty funny. Plus, it's extra publicity." Beca said.
"Beca this ain't the publicity that I be talking about getting." CR sighed "Please tell me there isn't another part of this bet."
"Oh there is." Stacie smirked "Beca has to get a tattoo of my choosing."
"Oh sweet baby Jesus." CR groaned "We gotta stop leaving you two unsupervised."
"Relax CR I won't make her get the tattoo in a noticeable spot." Stacie reassured.
"I need a raise." CR said before hanging up.
"Well there's that." Beca shrugged.
After about 30 minutes of trying on different dresses the two girls found the perfect one. Beca opted for a tight black cutout dress by Giovanni Bedin that oozes major sex appeal, also buying a pair d'Orsay pumps by Malone Souliers. While Stacie opted for a red body suit by Balmain that hugged her in all the right ways and places, pairing that with a pair of black pumps by Christian Louboutin. Once the purchase was made both girls headed towards Beca's and decided to get ready there.

Chloe woke up the next day and went about her morning routine. Once she arrived to the restaurant where she was meeting up with her friends and Tyler, she headed toward the table they were at. When she got there she saw all four of them huddled up by Amber's phone.
"What's up guys? What are you watching?" Chloe asked as she sat down.
"Oh hey baby, we're just watching this video that Stacie posted." Tyler said.
"These two are so cute." Said Tiffany.
"Those two are always doing crazy things. They must be so fun to hang out with." Valarie added.
"What video did Stacie post?" Chloe asked curiously.
"A video of Beca in her bra and underwear admitting that Stacie was better then her." Tyler said "How haven't you seen it? It's trending everywhere."
"I haven't checked social media. Let me see it." Chloe said. Amber handed her phone over and Chloe clicked play. Once the video ended that wave of jealousy struck again. Seeing Beca in practically nothing with only Stacie there also in practically nothing riled up the jealously. Chloe wanted to be the one filming Beca, she wanted to be the only one seeing Beca in that attire. But no it was Stacie, Stacie and her picture perfect looks. Handing Amber her phone back she tried to push those feelings down and enjoy her self.
The rest of lunch was going great until new photos of Beca and Stacie popped up on Twitter. Apparently paps had seen the two dress shopping and caught some new pics for the internet. The one that caught everyone's attention was one of the last picture, which showed Stacie hugging Beca from behind and resting her head next to Beca's. There cheeks touching and the two smiling, what looked like a really intimate photo was in reality just the two FaceTiming CR. But of course from the angle of the photo you can't see the two on the phone.
Once again all her friends and boyfriend were gushing over how cute the two are. Chloe was really getting agitated with this topic for two reasons. Reason one being the feelings it was digging up, the jealousy and regret were getting harder and harder to burry. Secondly was how annoying this was getting. She couldn't escape this and was over hearing about it.
New York
Beca, Stacie, Jessie and CR arrived at Bar SixtyFive the highest roof bar in all of New York located on the 65th floor of the Rockerfeller Center. From here, you can see all of Manhattan and the surrounding neighborhoods. Once they got settled in and made their rounds talking to the other artist involved in this tour like Calvin Harris, Tiesto, David Guetta and DJ Khaled; Beca headed off to get a drink. On her way there she bumped into a familiar face, non other the Halsey.
"Oh shit what's up Scrappy?" Halsey has grown to call Beca scrappy due to Beca's don't take shit from anyone attitude.
"Hey ghost. Just trying to get a drink." Beca said calling Halsey by her nickname.
"You to huh. Going to be a long night of talking to suits and artists." Halsey said.
"Yup" Beca said popping the p "Everyone's favorite thing." Beca said rolling her eyes "But hey at least we can use this to talk about the album." Beca added.
"I mean if you want then let's do it. But if you want to chill with your team you can." Halsey said as she received her drink.
Beca shook her head "Nah, I'd rather talk about the album and get some thing sorted so next time all we gotta do is record." Beca said grabbing her drink.
"Alright let's find an empty table then." Halsey said as the two headed off to a table to there right.
The two had been talking for 30 minutes, they had come up with a name for the album "hopeless fountain kingdom" and the ideas behind the songs. It was something they can both relate to, love and heartbreak. Halsey mentioned she already had 4 songs she wrote and the two decided they would release 3 of those as the main singles. They had made great progress for 30 minutes till Stacie came and said they wanted all the artist involved in the tour to the stage.
After all the artist were announced and took a group picture they were free to stay or leave. Beca decided to take a photo with some of the artist she liked, which were Halsey, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Khaled, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar. After about an hour of just talking and taking pictures Beca told her team she wanted to leave. But not before Stacie got one more picture with Beca overlooking the skyline behind them. Stacie pulled Beca to her side and slung an arm around Beca while Beca wrapped an arm around Stacie's mid section. They two had genuine smiles on there faces, seeing this made Jessie and CR smile and share knowing looks with one another.
Stacie had instantly uploaded that picture to Instagram and captioned it "Nights like this, accompanied with views like these, with a girl like her. Couldn't ask for a better life." Stacie showed Beca for approval and Beca smiled and nodded "I like that Stace." Beca meanwhile posted the pictures she took with all the artist first then a different one she took with Stacie. The one Beca posted was of the two sitting down at there table laughing and leaning on one another with the caption "When you get a person that makes you laugh like this in life, you cherish them and hold onto to them with everything you have." Beca showed Stacie and Stacie smiled "Aww I love it." Each of there posts instantly blew up and hit the trending page.
"Yeah this where I'm supposed to be." Beca thought to herself. "These are the people I need to be happy."
