Chapter 16

Bellas Reunion
Once Beca, Stacie, and Jessie left the backstage area they walked over to red Jeep that had brought them to the festival. Everyone was meeting up a club not to far away called Bay Bar. CR had arranged a section just for them where they would be isolated from the rest of club. Everyone that was at the club already was hoping that Beca wouldn't los it, CR and Amy were a bit distant from Chloe considering everything that went down. Only Aubrey and Emily were friendly to Chloe, Aubrey of course being Chloe's best friend and Emily was just being Emily. Upon arriving Beca decided to take off the sweater she preformed in, wrapping around her waist and stayed with the cropped tank top that showed off her tattoos. By this point she had gotten a good amount, her right side consisted of a pair of angel wings on her rib cage, some music notes on the inside of her wrist, her mother's name on her right collarbone, lyrics from different songs scattered on both her right and left side. She even had a tattoo of Smurfette that was part of matching tattoos she got with Stacie who had gotten Godzilla on her, representing their nicknames for each other.

"We still got to get that tattoo before we leave Becs." Stacie winked.

"Let's go tomorrow Stace." Beca smiled.

"Really?" After receiving a nod "Awesome! This is going to be exciting." Stacie squealed as she hooked her arm with Beca's. Beca leaned into Stacie as they walked into the club.

The three were lead into the VIP section and the no one was there which Beca found odd. Right when she was going to ask everyone jumped out and yelled "Surprise" Beca was genuinely surprised to see so many familiar faces, obviously the Bellas were there but so were the treble makers. She scanned the room and was impressed that her team had put this together. She went around giving everyone hugs and thanking them till a particular redhead stepped forward. Beca immediately froze as did everyone else.

"Ok what the fuck is going on? Someone better explain what's happening?" Beca said cold and angrily as she looked around the room. Everyone was worried when they heard that tone and saw the look on her face, they knew that tone and it never was pretty. Stacie was in shock; she couldn't believe that Chloe was there either.

"Beca we wanted all the Bellas here to see you, it wouldn't have been the same without Chloe you know." Aubrey said slowly approaching Beca.

Beca put her finger up stopping Aubrey "Was it you?" She asked slowly, still glaring angrily.

"Yes it was me. I just wanted all of us together." Aubrey said worriedly.

In that moment Beca snapped and If looks could kill everyone in that room would be six feet deep.

"Really? Are you shitting me right now! You? Of all people invite her? After everything. After everything that went down over the past two and half years Aubrey, you invite her and don't tell me! Let me guess her VIP passes are under my name?" Receiving a nod Beca continued "Oh my God Bree! After all we've been through you go and pull this shit!? I know she's your best friend but still, what the fuck!" Beca was fuming and ready to punch a whole through every wall she saw.

Hearing this Chloe stepped up and was about to speak when Beca turned to her with the iciest tone and a glare full of nothing but hatred "No! Don't speak to me. You've made it clear that you don't want to speak to me. I don't wanna hear a fucking word come from you. After two years of no contact and no nothing now you wanna talk? That's cute. After breaking every promise ever, you wanna try to talk now? Not a chance."

Beca give Aubrey one last glare but Aubrey can see the heartbreak behind those eyes. She could see that she really fucked up. Beca stormed off and headed outside.

"The fuck were you thinking Bree!" Stacie screamed as she stepped forward "Did you really think Beca would just welcome her back with open arms after all the shit she put her through!" Stacie said as she pointed towards Chloe "How can you not tell her about this!? What were you thinking huh were you trying to play matchmaker?" After receiving silence and a guilty look from Aubrey, Stacie Knew "Un-fucking-believable Posen. You know she really looks up to you as an older sister, an older sister that she's constantly trying to impress. She really trusts you and love you, you know that's not an easy thing for her to do. Especially after your best friend dam near ruined her." Stacie said as she turned around. She stopped and looked towards Chloe "You just couldn't stay away could you? What did the guilt become to much? Realize how stupid you were? Good, serves you right. Just one thing Beale." Stacie trailed off as he got up in Chloe's face "Stay away from her ok. You've done enough." Stacie backed away and ran off towards Beca.

Everyone was speechless at Stacie's threat. They knew how close the two were but to hear Stacie like that? Sent chills up everyone's spine. Stacie was usually the happy always partying Bella, but that right there? That was a protective animal.

Aubrey looked towards Jesse and Jesse just shook his head "You fucked up. Plain and simple. I don't know how you're going to fix it but don't get me involved. You knew where I stood and felt about this since college. Since she destroyed my little sister. We've made so much progress and I just hope you two didn't ruin it. I pray she doesn't fall into another black hole." Jesse shakes his head and walks in the same direction Beca and Stacie did.

Everyone is just stunned and speechless. Aubrey looks devastated and Chloe is just staring into nothing. The Bellas were shocked because they didn't know the full story, except for CR and Amy. The trebles were surprised as well, they never thought Beca could be this angry towards Chloe. As for Tyler and Chloe's friends, well they were stunned for multiple reasons. One they just found out Chloe and Beca dated or had a past at least. And two what could have happened that would cause Beca, Stacie and Jesse to go off on Chloe like that.

"Ok can some one explain what that was all about?" Tyler asked.

"Is this the boy toy?" Amy asked unamused.

"Boy toy? Excuse me?" Tyler asked.

"Amy let's go see if Beca's alright. She's more important." CR said dragging Amy along.

"Ty we need to talk." Chloe said.

"Ok so talk." Tyler said. Valarie, Tiffany and Amber were close by wanting to hear this explanation as well.

"Tyler, Beca was more then a friend. She's actually my ex. She's the one I left in Atlanta for med school. I had promised to keep in touch no matter what and that I'll never forget about her, but I didn't. I never stayed in contact and did my best to forget about her. She wanted to stay together and do the long distance thing but I didn't, I couldn't. And I know that no matter what I'll never stop loving her. I know that makes me a horrible girlfriend and person but she is my first love. I am so sorry, Brian." Chloe said sadly.

"Wow Chloe, you could have just told me you know. You could have just said you didn't want to be with me. That would have hurt less. I know you love me but it's obvious I wouldn't come close to her right?" Tyler asked.

With a nod "I am so sorry, Tyler. I really am. I tried. Believe me, I wanted us to work but I couldn't get over this." Chloe said in years.

"So this is it huh? Wow." Tyler said slowly.

Outside
Beca had just made it to the balcony after weaving her way through the crowds thanks to her small frame.

"Becs! You know for someone so short you sure are fast." Stacie said catching her breath. Stacie saw the look in Beca's eye and saw the hurt in them. The same look you get when someone breaks your trust.

"Did you know Stace? That she'd be here?" Beca asked slowly really hoping that Stacie of all people wouldn't betray her like this.

"What of course not B. Are you kidding me? If I'd known about this, I would have done everything in my power to keep that bitch away. I'd never put you through this." Stacie said as she wrapped the smaller girl in her arms.

Beca melted into the embrace and was starting to calm down at Stacie's touch.

"Beca!" Jesse said out of breath.

"Hey Jesse." Beca said still clinging onto to Stacie.

"Man your fast." He said.

"So I've heard." Beca rolled her eyes "Did you know Jess?" Beca asked.

"Yes. I tried stopping her every time she brought it up but she's Aubrey. And I thought if I told you then you wouldn't preform tonight. And I knew how much you were looking forward to this performance." Jesse said.

"I understand Jess. It's just actually seeing her is bringing up all this rage and anger I've been holding in. The sadness I was able to put into music and get over, but the anger has always been something I couldn't just pass off like that." Beca said.

"I get it. You know before you went on tonight Aubrey asked if I thought you'd hate her when you found out." Jessie chuckled.

"And?" Stacie said bitterly at Aubrey's name.

"I told her you wouldn't hate her but you wouldn't like her for awhile." He said.

"I honestly don't know what I feel towards Aubrey right now. I already know I don't like Chloe and really don't want to see her, but Bree? I don't know." Beca said looking down "I really looked towards her as my older sister and have so much love and respect for her. But then she does this? Breaks my trust just like that? I don't know." Beca said sadly.

"It's alright shorty. Aubrey fucked up tonight there's no denying that. We understand you." Stacie said.

After that CR and Amy walked out and over to them.

"Becs we had no idea." Both said at the same time.

"Guys it's alright. I know you two didn't know anything." Beca chuckled.

"Can we just stay out here for a couple of minutes? I'm still trying to cool down." Beca stated.

Everyone just agreed and plopped down on the couches. Stacie pulled Beca onto her lap where Beca then laid her head on her favorite spot, Stacie's chest.

Laughing "Always gotta use the goodies as pillows huh B?" Stacie asked.

Nodding "There more comfortable then my own Pillows." Beca smiled.

Stacie laughed as she wrapped one arm tightly around Beca and the other one was stroking Beca's hair, something Beca always enjoyed. The two were in their own world not noticing the three set of eyes smiling at them and looking at one another. They all could see and knew these two belonged together.
