Chapter 19

"You almost finished Becs?" Stacie asked.

"Yeah just need to pack up some music stuff." Beca answered.

Beca and Stacie were currently packing their stuff to head to the airport. There flight was set to leave at midnight, luckily for them Beats had supplied them with a private jet. On the Jet would be the artist that were part of the tour and their guests including Halsey, David Guetta, Khaled and Big Sean.

"Alright now I'm done." Beca announced.

"Becs you should probably change into something more comfortable. We're going to be on the jet for 11 hours and some change." Stacie said.

Beca's eyes popped out "11 hours!?" Beca shouted.

Laughing "Yeah B. We're kind of flying across the world. I thought you knew your geography." Stacie said.

"No Stace I hated geography. Only subject I was good at was history." Beca answered "Fuck this is going to a long trip." Be a said as she went to change.

Once Beca changed into some sweats and a hoodie, they made their way down to the lobby to wait for the rest of the team.

"Alright so who's driving us?" Beca asked once everyone was came to the lobby.

"Well seeing as there are 8 of us, we're going to have to take two separate cars." Jesse answered.

"Amy, CR, Benji, Emily and I can ride in one car. Bree, Stacie and Beca can ride in another." Jesse added. "Can you three get a ride by yourselves?"

Raising a brow "Klutz, since when were you coming along?" Beca asked.

"Oh I um may have asked Aubrey if she had an extra pass. I just really wanted to see you preform again." Emily said shyly.

"Well the more the merrier I suppose. Glad your coming klutz." Beca smiled then turned to Jesse "So when are we leaving?"

"Well I know someone who can drive us. I just doubt you'll like who it is." Aubrey said slowly.

Stacie groaned "Oh no, please don't let it be who I'm thinking."

"Sorry Stacie, It'll be the quickest." Aubrey said.

"Yup definitely a long trip." Stacie said looking at Beca.

"It's fine, it's only what 20 minutes top? We can survive." Beca said.

Once the car for the rest of the team arrived, Beca, Stacie and Aubrey were waiting for Chloe to get there. The three were currently waiting outside and were doing a good job of laying low. When Chloe's blue Honda Accord pulled up the three headed towards the trunk.

"Hey Bree!" Chloe smiled. Then noticed the two extra bodies "Oh hey Beca, Stacie." Chloe waved.

Beca and Stacie nodded their heads with a quick "hey" and walked towards the back seats.

"Bree?" Chloe gave Aubrey a questioning look.

"Yeah we sort of had to split up due to there being 8 of us and this was the outcome. I thought it'd be me and Jessie." Aubrey answered.

"This won't be awkward at all." Chloe said as she got in the car.

The car ride was silent and tense with only the radio playing. Stacie and Beca were in the backseat leaning on each other like they normally are. When Childish Gambino's 3005 came on Stacie looked at Beca and smiled.

"Don't start Conrad." Beca laughed and shook her head.

"Don't hold it Mitchell you know you always sing along." Stacie smirked.

This just happened to be one of Beca's favorite songs at the moment. But Beca wasn't a big fan of singing aloud in public unless it was for a performance or it was just her and Stacie. She was about to turn and look away but Stacie nudged her as she whispered the last part before the chorus. And once Beca heard the beat change she couldn't help it.

Till 3005, hold up."

The two sang in sync with one another smiling and laughing at each other. Aubrey seeing this turned to look at Chloe who was driving and gripping the wheel tightly. Chloe was still jealous and seeing them sing like that with the looks on there faces wasn't helping.

"Relax Chloe. You got to accept this and move on." Aubrey whispered.

Chloe nodded "I know it's just hard seeing that."

Once the song finished Beca turned to Stacie "If you get tired of being the hot model let me know and I'll put you on a track."

Stacie laughed "Oh baby girl, I'll never get tired of being the hot model."

"Alright maxim, my offer will always stand." Beca nudged Stacie.

"Oh please I wish I was on maxim." Stacie replied.

"You'll get there. I mean don't have there Hot 100 women's edition coming up." Beca asked.

"I believe so." Stacie shrugged.

"You'll land it." Beca smirked.

"Alright love birds we're here." Aubrey announced. She missed how Chloe winced at that announcement.

The three got out and grabbed their bags. Beca and Stacie said a quick "Thanks." And headed towards the door quickly navigating through the paps.

"Wow she's gotten good at navigating them." Chloe said.

"Yeah and helps that she has a 5'8 amazon leading the way for her. Who won't hesitate to shove them out they way." Aubrey smiled looking at the two.

"Thanks for trying Bree. Sorry if me being there caused a strain between you two." Chloe said sadly.

"It's fine Chlo. I mean it is my fault really, I should of gave her a heads up. Now I have Jesse, Beca and Stacie that I have to set straight." Aubrey chuckled.

"I just wish things would have turned out differently. I miss you guys so much and it sucks that I really only have you." Chloe said.

"Look Chlo, just give it time alright. Beca isn't the same girl she was in college. She's matured beyond belief; she doesn't hold grudges anymore. Eventually she'll come around and contact you when she's ready. When the team sees Beca is ready to move on and talk to you, then they will as well." Aubrey patted Chloe's shoulder.

"So they don't talk to me because of Beca?" Chloe asked.

"Pretty much. There still upset over what went down. You got to remember Chlo, they saw what that did to Beca firsthand and that's why they don't talk to you. No one ever thought you'd be the one to hurt Beca, we all thought it'd be the other way around. But when you did what you did, you didn't just hurt Beca, but you hurt everyone." Aubrey explained.

Chloe took this in and looked down. She can now understand why everyone that was on Beca's team acted cold towards. If she was in there shoes she'd react the same way. Now she just has to sit back and wait for Beca to contact her.

"I'll talk to the hobbit and the rest of them to see where there at on this. But I can't promise they'd be close to forgiving you anytime soon." Aubrey said as she hugged Chloe "Now I have to go before they send a search party."

"Alright have a safe flight. Love you Bree." Chloe said.

"Love you to Chlo."

Inside the team was sitting around talking about what to do in London when Jesse asked about the ride over.

"Chloe was driving so what do you think Jess." Beca chuckled.

"Wait what?" Jesse asked.

"Yeah Swanson. Who'd you think was driving your girl around? Ironman?" Beca joked.

"You know for someone who hates movies, you reference them a lot." Jesse smirked.

"Well between you and sunshine here constantly making me watch them, what do you expect." Beca rolled her eyes.

"You like them and you know it." Stacie nudged her.

"I enjoy horror movies." Beca grinned.

"So was that car ride like a horror movie?" Jesse laughed.

"It was awkward but it was only 20 minutes." Stacie answered.

"You think you'd ever be friends again?" Jesse asked.

Beca sat there and though about it.

"I don't Jess. Maybe in the future. I'm obviously over her, just not what she did you know. I can see us being friends but just not as close as we were before. I don't think I can trust her like that again." Beca answered.

"You really have changed for the better. Old Beca would have never thought of forgiving her." Jesse laughed.

"I grew up." Beca shrugged.

"Not physically though." Stacie said.

Hearing this Beca pushed Stacie out of her chair, sending Stacie down to the floor. Stacie sent a glare Beca's way.

"That's a cute look Stace. What's it like looking up to me?" Stacie smirked.

"You know when I say I want to look up to you, I don't mean in this position." Stacie winked.

Beca leaned down and whispered in Stacie's ear "Play your cards right and you never know." She licked Stacie's ear and winked.

Everyone saw that and was surprised, Beca was never one to be sexual like that. Stacie on the other hand froze, she knew Beca would joke around with her when it came to the sex stuff. She just never expected Beca to do it around other people and not like this.

Seeing everyone shocked, Beca laughed "Wow I broke everyone." She looked at Stacie "Did I leave the Stacie Conrad speechless."

Stacie quickly recovered and shook her head getting up "You wish DJ." She took her away next to Beca.

"Judging by that reaction I'd say the one wishing." Beca laughed.

Aubrey eventually joined and they were now all waiting to be told they can board the jet. Halsey did eventually meet up with them and they all talked about the tour and the album. After about 25 minutes of sitting down and talking, they were told they can board and we're lead to the jet. Once everyone got situated, they took off.

The jet could sit up to 21 people so Beca decided to sit with Stacie and Halsey, deciding they could keep working on the album. The three of them really hit off and became real close friends. They were going over the songs the recorded when Beca brought something to Halsey's attention.

"Hey ghost, what if we add something to Alone?" Beca asked.

Halsey turned to her "Like what?"

"It's a great song don't get me wrong, but what if we have a rap thrown in there?" Beca suggested.

Halsey nodded "Depends on who it is; I can get along with it."

"Well what about Sean?" Beca asked. "I mean he's on this tour and he's flow could mesh with this song. Plus we're both fans."

"I like the idea. We just have to run it by him and see what he can come up with." Halsey answered.

The two of them went back to working on the album with Stacie giving them ideas while. They also decided to post stuff to social media to keep the fans updated on everything.
