Chapter 24

Once Beca arrived at her room she realized that Stacie wasn't there. She figured she was with Emily or someone from the team so she decided to start to get ready. She took a long relaxing shower before getting out and walking over to where her clothes were. She was going to change till she had an idea, picking up her phone she dialed Halsey.

"What's up scrappy?" Halsey answered.

"Hey so I was getting my clothes picked out but I wanted to see what you were wearing?" Beca asked.

"I was going all white. You thinking of matching or something?" Halsey replied.

"I was thinking it'd be cool if we wore similar things. I like the white idea since it'll be dark by the time we preform." Beca said.

"Yeah especially with the light show there put on for us. I'm going with a white cropped tank under a white t-shirt and some white joggers with a pair of all white high top vans." Halsey commented.

"Sounds good. I think I have something to match that. See you in a bit." Beca said as she ended the call.

Beca looked through her bags until she found what she was looking for. A white sports bra to wear under a white sleeveless hoodie, pair of white cargo joggers and her white mid top Air Force 1s. Happy with her choice she went to do her hair and makeup. Opting to just tie her hair in a tight ponytail and kept her makeup light. She figured she'd go over the set list once more and the new songs they'd be debuting. Once she finished getting ready she was about to call Stacie when she heard the door opened and close.

"Is my producer ready?" Halsey asked as she walked in.

Beca walked towards the door but stopped at the sight in front of her. "You dyes your hair blonde?" She asked surprised.

"Yeah. New album, new look. What do you think?" Halsey asked smiling.

"Looks hot honestly." Beca answered as she walked closer to see it.

"Well if you were shocked by this, then you're really going to loose it when you see what's waiting for you." Halsey said as she leaned next to Beca's ear "Especially with your feelings." She whispered and stepped away.

"What are talking about?" Beca asked confused.

Halsey smirked and walked backwards opening the door revealing a new looking Stacie.

Beca was stunned at what she was looking at, standing there was Stacie also flaunting blonde hair and wearing a tight white tank top that made her boobs pop, some sinfully short white shorts showing off those tanned legs that go for days and a pair of white converse.

Fuck, she looks gorgeous. Beca thought you herself. The blonde was really making Stacie's eyes stand out even more.

Halsey laughed at her expression while Stacie slowly walked over to Beca and closed her mouth with her index finger. Beca hadn't even realized her jaw dropped.

"So what do you think B?" Stacie gave a small smile.

Beca slowly nodded "Wow. Drop dead Stace, absolutely stunning." Beca smiled.

"Thank you." Stacie said as she kissed Beca's cheek. "Alright you two need to head out."

The three proceeded to head down to the lobby after Beca sent a text to the team. They all met up at the lobby, everyone was shocked at Stacie's appearance. Everyone single one approved of the new look and after a couple of pictures were taken they headed off to the two cars that were waiting. In one car you had the trio of Halsey, Beca and Stacie with Emily and Benji, the other car had Aubrey, Jesse, CR and Amy. About 5 minutes before they arrived Aubrey had an incoming call from non other then Chloe.

"Hello?" Aubrey answered.

"Hey Bree!" Chloe said.

"What's up Chlo?" Aubrey said. Everyone now turned their attention towards Aubrey.

"You're on the way to the show right?" Chloe asked.

"Yeah, why?" Aubrey asked.

"Do you think it's possible for you to FaceTime me when Beca preforms?" Chloe asked slowly.

"Umm I suppose, why?" Aubrey asked confused.

"I just want to see her preform." Chloe answered.

"Yeah sure, I'd have to ask her though Chloe. I really don't want to keep anything from here anymore." Aubrey stated.

"That's fine Bree, just let me know." Chloe said back.

"Sure thing." Aubrey said and ended the call.

"What was that about?" Jesse asked.

"She wanted to know if I'd FaceTime her so she can see Beca preform." Aubrey scrunching her brows.

Everyone just nodded and didn't talk about it anymore. They eventually made it to the venue and headed the backstage area where all the artist were.

"Hey Bec." Aubrey said as she grabbed her arm.

"What's up Bree?" Beca asked.

"Two things. First I went over the label paperwork and everything checked out. Your good to go. Secondly Chloe called." Aubrey told her.

"Well I'm glad about the label information. I'll get on that when we finish up here. And what did she want?" Beca asked raising a brow.

"She wanted to see you preform, she wants me to FaceTime her when you two go on." Aubrey answered slowly.

Beca shrugged "I don't care really. If she wants to watch let her. It's not like someone isn't going to record it and put it on YouTube anyway."

"Ok if your sure." Aubrey said as she turned around.

Beca walked over to Stacie and Halsey as they were in the middle of taking a video for Instagram.

"Everything good shorty?" Stacie asked.

"Yeah. Label stuff is a go and Chloe called." Beca answered laughing at the video Halsey recorded of the prank from that morning.

"What did she want now?" Stacie asked rolling her eyes. Stacie still didn't like Chloe no matter how much she apologized. Stacie wasn't sure if she'd ever be cool with the red head, not after everything that went down.

"She wanted to see the performance." Beca shrugged.

"And?" Stacie asked slowly.

"Stace let's be real, fans are going to record this and post it everywhere. I told Aubrey it was cool to FaceTime her and let her watch live." Beca answered.

"Guess your right." Stacie said throwing an arm around Beca.

"So label stuff is a go?" Halsey asked.

"Yup. Now all I need to do is sign and pick the place." Beca smiled.

"Perfect." Halsey smiled.

The three stood around taking pictures and joking around until the event coordinators asked all the performers to follow them to take pictures and do some stuff for social media. Once all the photos were taken and they did the videos for social media, Halsey pulled Beca aside.

"Alright time to have our talk." Halsey said resting her shoulder against a wall facing Beca.

"About?" Beca asked.

"Your feelings for a certain blonde." Halsey slapped her arm.

"I don't know. It's just recently I've noticed and looked back at how she's always been there you know. Through all the bs she's always stuck by me. Always making time for me regardless of her career or even her courses, how we are with one another it's like we're inseparable." Beca said with a sigh.

"From what I've been told, she was the one that was there for you after your breakup right? She has been the one you go to and trust the most right? You always ask for her opinions and approval right? Lastly you're always talking or hanging out right?" Halsey asked.

Beca nodded yes to the four questions. "It's like I'm realizing that she is what matters most. Even when I was with Chloe, I always went to Stacie with any problem or question. I've always had more fun with Stacie then with anyone. The best friend dates we have are better the any actual date I've been on. It's just I've always seen her as my best friend you know." Beca answered.

Halsey nodded and placed her hand on Beca's shoulder "Listen scrappy, I think you know exactly how you feel. You just need to make sure that your 100% over your Chloe and the breakup. You need to be fully invested in this relationship if you proceed with it. Stacie will need all your trust and love, you got to clear your mind and soul of everything that went down in the past. Don't do anything if you haven't because then it won't end well. Trust me I've jumped like that and it never ends well for anyone." Halsey finished with a gentle squeeze "I can almost guarantee you that girl isn't going anywhere."

Beca nodded and smiled "Your right, Stace deserves my everything. Which is why I want to get all this out of my system, and the best way is to put all those songs out there."

"That's always a good start." Halsey said as she pushed off the wall. "Now let's go enjoy the show before we have to preform."

They headed down to the side of the stage to join everyone else. Beca headed to Stacie's side and smiled at the taller girl. Beca leaned into her and smiled when Stacie wrapped and arm around her and placed a kiss atop her head.

An hour later Beca and Halsey were ushered to get prepared to go on. They were second to last with David Guetta closing, since he was from Paris causing him to be widely popular in London. As they were getting ready Aubrey FaceTimed Chloe and told her they were about to go on. Receiving their queue, Halsey and Beca went on stage and started there set.

Halsey opened up with Castle followed by Hold Me Down, Beca followed her up with two mash ups. The first one was a mashup of Closer which involved Halsey singing her vocals with Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do. The second was of Kanye West's Stronger and Linkin Park's Numb. That's how the performance went, alternating songs with the lights and smoke constantly going off. They were approaching the end when Halsey preformed Gasoline causing the crowd to sing along at the top of there lungs. Beca then proceeded to play one last mashup that included Halsey's Control with Ariana Grande's One Last Time.

The two stopped and took a sip of water. Beca decided to take off the hoodie she was wearing and Halsey joined her taking off her shirt. Despite it being night and windy, the lights and all the jumping up and down was making them extremely hot.

"London! How you feeling right now!?" Halsey asked the crowd.

Receiving a loud ovation, the two chuckled into the microphone "We're glad you guys are enjoying yourselves. Beca and I have a special treat for everyone. As you know we've finished the album, and I'm set to release three singles to promote the album!" Halsey said excitedly.

The fans cheered loudly at this "Alright, with that said. The two of us decided to debut two of those songs right here and live for everyone." She smiled as the fans went bezerk.

"So the first one Halsey is going to preform is called Now or Never. Hope you guys love it." Beca said as she started it up.

Everyone one reached for there phones to record this and post it all over social media. Once the Halsey started singing the lyrics, Beca's team was in awe at what they came up with together. The message of the song was clear to everyone and the melody was amazing. Halsey finished the song with a huge smile on her face same as Beca.

"What do you guys think?" Beca asked.

The fans cheered loudly letting them know they enjoyed the new track.

"Glad to hear that. Now this next one is Bad at Love." Halsey announced and gave a nod to Beca.

Beca started up the sound and once the beat started everyone started moving along with the beat. Beca's team smiled and knew this song had hit written all over it. Halsey started singing and the two of them were bouncing up and down together. The two were enjoying them selves up there same as everyone in the crowd. Once the song finished Beca and Halsey embraced each other laughing and smiling.

"London! Thank you so much for all the love and support! Hope you guys enjoyed the new songs and had fun with us tonight!" Halsey shouted and handed Beca the mic.

"It was an honor to play for you guys tonight! Thank you London for the warm welcome and the love you constantly give us. Hope you enjoyed the show just as much as we enjoyed preforming for you! Thank you guys. Love each and everyone of you." Beca said and gave a quick bow and waive.

Beca and Halsey went backstage and immediately reached for the towels to wiped off their sweat. There were all smiles and laughter talking about the performance while people were taking pictures of them.

Meanwhile Aubrey was still on the phone with Chloe.

"Wow they really did an amazing job." Chloe smiled.

"Yeah, the hobbit has been working even harder. And Halsey has been the perfect person for her to work with." Aubrey said back.

"I'm glad she's enjoying herself. She deserves to be happy and enjoy her success." Chloe smiled sadly.

"Chlo, like I said you got to move on ok. I want you to be happy." Aubrey said to her.

"I know Bree, it's just hard. I can't exactly escape her you know. Plus, when I listen to the lyrics in all her songs I know she's talking about me or the breakup." Chloe sighed.

"Never said it'd be easy Chlo." Aubrey stated.

"I know I know. Maybe I'll take a trip out to see you and spend time with you. It might help." Chloe said.

"I'd like that Chlo. Just need to check when it'll be best." Aubrey smiled.

The two ended the call soon after that. While Beca and Halsey walked over to the rest of the group after talking to the coordinators. They were instantly engulfed in a group hug and congratulated.

"You two were amazing." Stacie whispered in Beca's ear.

"Thanks Stace." Beca whispered back.

They decided to head back to the hotel seeing as they had to leave the next day for the next show that was in Wales. After that it'd be back to the states for them. Beca and Halsey started trending once more and the new songs were released on all streaming services. They both posted photos of them on stage on there Instagram's telling people to stream the new songs.

Next chapter will include a time jump to when they arrive back at NY. Would you guys like to see Beca forgive Chloe completly and work on a friendship? Or Beca and Chloe not become friends again?
