Chapter 30
Beca woke up the next morning in the arms of her now girlfriend and couldn't help the smile that formed. She really had it all now; the career she always dreamed of, the best friends and team one can ask for and now the best girlfriend she could dream of. In two years a lot had happened but this tops everything. She softly brushed a few strands of blonde hair form Stacie's face and laughed when her nose twitched.
"Now look who's staring." Stacie mumbled.
Beca ran her thumb across Stacie's bottom lip "I can't help that I'm dating a model. A very hot one."
Stacie smiled "So flattering."
"It's what I do best." Beca jokes.
Stacie opened her eyes and smiled "I thought you did music the best."
Beca smirked "I'm the best at a lot of things."
Stacie raised a brow "What rose are you the best at?"
"This." Beca said softly before leaning in and softly kissing Stacie. Stacie moves her hands to the back of Beca's neck and moved her lips in sync with Beca. Stacie smiled into the kiss as heart was soaring. The two pulled away after a few to catch their breath.
"I see now." Stacie joked.
Beca stretched "As much as I would love to stay like this, we should get out there. Ash is probably rummaging my kitchen."
Stacie laughed and agreed, the two got up and headed downstairs. They got to the kitchen and just like Beca predicted, there was Halsey rummaging through the fridge.
"So my dear cook, what's for breakfast." Beca joked away she sat on top of the island.
Halsey turned around and laughed "Well my dear producer, I was thinking French Toast with some hash browns."
Beca nodded "Sounds absolutely perfect. Proceed."
Stacie chuckled and slapped her upside the head "You can help you know."
Beca who rubbed her head "Hey, when we stay at her house I'll cook the breakfast." She turned to Halsey "Deal?"
"You are ridiculous. But yeah deal." Halsey laughed.
Beca turned to Stacie and stuck her tongue out at her. Stacie shook her head "I'm dating a child."
Halsey shrugged "She's the same height."
Beca groaned "Two inches!" She exclaimed.
"Still taller." Stacie mumbled. Beca glared at her and walked towards the table to set it up.
Twenty minutes later after they ate and cleaned everything up they were lounging around "So are you two going to say anything about this?" Halsey said.
Beca who was currently cuddled up next to Stacie shrugged "We'll tell the team but I don't know about the public."
Stacie nodded "Yeah we're not really worried about that."
"I'm just saying with those pictures; this would be a good way to clear all that up." Halsey said.
Beca nodded "I guess we can run that by CR."
The three stayed lounging around for another 30 minutes before they decided to drop by the office. They all piled into Stacie's Rover and headed towards the office. Once they got there they called everyone into Beca's office.
"Alright guys so I got something to tell you." Beca announced.
Everyone nodded so Beca continued "So Stacie and I talked yesterday and we decided to give this a try." Beca said as she held up their interlock hands.
Everyone smiled and congratulated the two and asked for details. Halsey who had recorded everything pulled up her phone and played the video. Everyone in that room had huge smiles on there faces and were happy for the two especially after everything that had happened.
"Wow those songs were beautiful Bec." Aubrey said.
Beca smiled "Thanks Bree."
"Again I'm so sorry for Chloe. I don't know what got into her." Aubrey said to both of them but mostly directed towards Stacie.
"It's alright Bree, we can't blame you for how she acts. She's a grown up, she should be able to control herself." Stacie said.
"Alright guys I didn't call you in here for that, I wanted to see if by us announcing that we're dating would help with those photos." Beca said.
"Well it would clear up that those pics mean nothing but it's your personal life Becs, if you want to announce by all means go for it and be happy." CR answered.
"Well we do have that show coming up, the last show for the Beats tour is here at MSG." Beca said "We could do it there and have be part of the performance."
Beca looked at Stacie for her thoughts "I'm fine with that babe." Stacie smiled.
Beca smiled at the term of endearment and her heart was doing summersaults at that.
"Settled then." Beca said and everyone left after that except for Beca, Stacie and Halsey.
"Hey that show is June 5th right?" Stacie asked.
"Yeah why?" Beca asked.
"Well Ash's album would have dropped and didn't you say Em wanted to release her stuff soon?" Stacie said.
"Correct." Halsey and Beca both answered.
"Well I'm just saying you'd probably be the closer and be perfect to debut all the new stuff." Stacie said.
Beca looked at Halsey and smiled "Yeah your right, be the perfect time to play everything new." Beca said.
"And for you to finally sing publicly." Halsey chimed in.
"True." Beca said "Guess I'll call Emily and ask since that show is in like two weeks."
Beca reaches for her phone and dialed up Emily.
"Grumpy!" Emily said excitedly. The younger girl always loved talking to Beca.
Beca smiled at her excitement "How you doing klutz?"
"Great, how about you?" Emily asked.
"Couldn't be better Em. Listen are you free for the next two weeks or so?" Beca asked.
Emily went through the calendar on her desk "Uhh yup free as the breeze. Why?"
"I want to fly you out here. We got business to discuss." Beca answered.
"Please let it be good." Emily said worried.
Beca chuckled "Of course it is Em, you got nothing to worry about. I just want to spend time with my baby sis and discuss music."
Emily's mood instantly brightened at the possibility of hanging out with Beca "I'm free to fly out whenever." Emily said quickly.
"Alright I'll send you the info." Beca said.
"Perfect." Emily said back.
The two ended the call and Beca places her phone down.
"You sure you're not actually her sister?" Halsey asked.
Beca smiled "I pretty much am."
"Those two have always been this way. Since Emily's freshmen year Beca has been like her big sister always protecting her and looking out for her. Emily looks up to this one more then anyone else in the world." Stacie said with a smile on her face.
That was nothing but the truth, Beca had been there for Emily plenty of times. Whenever the younger Bella was unsure of herself, Beca would always be there to give her the confidence boost needed. When Emily was having trouble coming up with music, Beca would be there to give her pointers. When Emily would be sad, Beca would cheer her up by making her a hot fudge sundae. It was always the big sister looking out for the baby sis. And now it would be no different with Emily signed to Beca's label.
"Not to dampen the mood but what are you two going to do about you know who?" Halsey said.
"Well, Stacie won't be doing anything." Beca looked at Stacie "I really don't want to bail my girlfriend out of jail for assault."
"Well if she deserved it I wouldn't mind the charge." Stacie mumbled.
"No. And to answer your question-" Beca turned to Halsey "We'll cross that bridge when needed. I'm not in any rush to see her again." Beca answered. Beca knew this Chloe thing wouldn't end unless she talked to her one on one and aired everything out. This has been a while in the making.
"Now I have to get Em her flight information." Beca said powering up her computer.
After Beca sent Emily her flight information informing her that she'd be arriving in two days, Halsey left saying she had some press stuff to handle. Beca turned to Stacie.
"What's up baby?" Beca asked as she held Stacie's hand.
"Just thinking." Stacie answered as she started playing with Beca's fingers.
"I see that but what's got that mind of yours working?" Beca smiled.
"Nothing bad, I'm just thinking about how far we've come since Barden. How far that little alt-girl who hated the world has come. She became this incredibly successful producer and who just started her own label. And how far this tall lanky nerd has come. I never thought I'd be this huge successful model who is getting her masters, and who just happens to be with said producer." Stacie smiled at Beca.
"I know it's crazy where we're at right now. But I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. We got the best friends anyone can ask for, our dream jobs and now we have each other." Beca said.
"You and me like always." Stacie said leaning her head on Beca's shoulder.
Beca kisses Stacie on the head "Like always."
Just a short light hearted steca chapter :) This story is coming to end with probably 3 more chapters.
I want to include one last preformance where the two come out officially as a couple, have Beca put Emily's songs out there and I was planning on having Beca having a one on one conversation with Chloe to air everything out.
