Sarawat Guntihanon was no means an impatient person.

Since he was dragged to a Scrubb concert by Man and Boss and bumped into what his friends call "his smiley guy," he scoured every show that indie band had just to see that boy again.

But no luck, he still can't see him.

Dragging his feet on the pavement of some university that is currently celebrating a match of traditional football and music, the humid air peaks in the highest hour of sunlight. Many students are entering the building, and Sarawat's already feeling no signs of hope that he can distinguish the boy from the mass of heads mingling.

Sighs. This is the last time I'll look for him, Sarawat muses. One last time and I'll stop.

He then walked around the stadium for a final sweep when he noticed a tall boy in the front of the crowd.

It's him!

Sarawat is giddy with excitement as he pushes in front of the crowd. He can still remember every single detail about that chic guy. Bright eyes squinting against the heat of the sun, bouncing as if there is no tomorrow. He clearly enjoyed and appreciated Scrubb's music, and for that, Sarawat is intrigued. But no matter, he will know that boy's interests when they'll meet again.

A group of friends passed on him as he was walking. By the time he let them all through, his line of sight of the guy was gone.

Sighs again in disappointment. Sarawat's phone is vibrating in his pocket. It's Boss calling.

"Yes?" he answered

"What's up? Did you find that smiley guy of yours?" Boss said teasingly

"I didn't," Sarawat replied, "I looked for him everywhere."

He can feel pity ranging from Boss.

"I guess I failed again."

Sarawat again started questioning what he was doing. Why did I bring myself to disappointment over and over?

He knows it's a sign—time to get over and move on.

He turned around and started walking towards the exit. The crowd cheered. It seems that the band with a weird name Sunshine Daisies Butter Mellow has started performing.

The lead singer, a gangly guy he will know in the future as P'Dim announced something:

"To those who are discouraged and giving up, you might have just a 1% chance.

But if your heart still wants to keep going, that chance will never reduce to 0%.

This song is for those who are fighting for that 1%. One day, your fight will pay off."

What that guy said got stuck in Sarawat's mind. Never reach that 0%, he promised himself. With a determined state, he looked in the crowd again.

Sarawat tiptoed against the cheering masses and was beginning to get suffocated. He needs some fresh air, and so he pushed himself to the back. He stumbled and stepped on some guy's shoe.

Just my luck. Sarawat is annoyed again. This guy will probably demand something for dirtying his sneakers.

He looked up to the irritated look of the person and apologized. Still dizzy from the heat, Sarawat took a step back and lost his balance.

That's when some guy held his hand to steady him.

Brown eyes are looking down on him with concern, and his charming smile changed to a tight-lipped frown. It's the guy from the Scrubb concert!

I must be dreaming, Sarawat muses

"Er, hello? Are you all right?" His obsession kindly asked

Sarawat gulped. This is the chance to make things right. To finally get to know the person he's looking all over. To see that smile again, he should be careful of what his first words will be.

Looking back to the brown-eyed boy, he clutched the hand holding him and smirked.

"My name's Sarawat. Are you interested in grabbing a coffee with me sometime?"

end.
