First thing to notch down, the Scarlet Spider, or Ben Reilly, in this story is not the same one from the Ultimate Spiderman show, nor is he the one from the comics. He's a bit similar to the comics-version in attitude, personality, and past, except he's changed in a few things like, for example, he works at a coffee shop and lives in NYC instead of Las Vegas."
