Naruto: Evolution

Chapter 1

Pilot

Egypt Desert

It was peaceful in the barren wasteland, the dessert winds blowing by and taking some sand with it.

"WOOOOOSH!"

That is until the plains were disturbed by a sudden vortex appearing out of nowhere and spitting something out, but closed soon after, though what was surprising was that this "something" was a well muscular preteen, though his body was badly injured it was slowly healing.

His upper body was bare, showing he had a strong and lean build, as for his lower half all he had on were a pair of tattered orange shorts, but it was obvious that whatever happened to him had changed his body completely, since his shorts were originally trousers, but do to his sudden growth they were small on him.

He also had spiky black hair. (A.N. Taima hairstyle.)

The preteen was unconscious, so he didn't notice a strange orange circular portal opening in front of him, with and even stranger person walking out of it, who just so happened to have spotted the preteen on the sands, quickly using his magic the man levitated the boy into the air, but while he never suspected a preteen to appear via energy vortex, what surprised him even more was the sight of a monkey tail attached to the young boy.

"I have a feeling that your story will be quite interesting to listen to."

With that the man opened another portal and brought the levitated boy with him, knowing he'd get answers when the boy woke up, but also the Sanctum will be able to allow him to monitor in case the young man had evil intentions.

Few Days Later

It took sometime for the teen to awaken, after which the boy was shocked to see he was somewhere completely different to where he came from, with the man placing a spell that allows the teen to understand English and introducing himself as Doctor Strange, along with the teen introducing himself as Naruto Uzumaki, with the Doctor explaining how he sensed Naruto's entry into this worlds dimension, though he did so after Naruto was shocked even more.

But what was the "cherry on top" was the fact that he now had a monkey tail which caused Naruto to faint since he basically had an information overload, but once he woke up explaining to the Doctor how he didn't have a tail and he had no idea what happened to him physically, with the doctor asking Naruto if he could do a mystical scan on him, wanting to help Naruto understand his changes and what actually happened to him.

The results were a shock for the two of them, with the doctor explaining that Naruto now had a different energy that was slowly converting his original chakra into something else, since Naruto had explained to the doctor about where he came from and everything.

The doctor took a few minutes thinking things through, while Naruto had his "freak-out" moment, "Hmm, Naruto," Catching the preteen's attention, "How about I help teach you how to control this Ki that's replaced your chakra, that way you can learn how to control and suppress it so no-one can sense you power."

Naruto thought about it, since he had no idea how to get home, along with being unable to use summoning for the toads, there really wasn't a downside, "I guess I could do that, but do you think you can help me find my home when you have time?"

Doctor Strange simply smiled, "I'll try Naruto, but you have to consider that there are multiple dimensions across the plains of existence, and with your chakra energy nearly depleted, it won't be possible to pinpoint your home, but I try as much as I can."

While Naruto was upset, he understood the doctor knew more about dimensional travel than the now ex-ninja did, but the thought of training really got Naruto's attention, "I guess since there's no way home, I could use the help with this new energy, sure Doctor thanks for the offer!"

A Year Later

As it turned out, a year with Naruto wasn't what you would call a vacation, don't get the doctor wrong the boy was a ball of sunshine to be around, but it turned out Naruto got really into training, always asking the doctor to use his magic to make his clothes heavier for training, constantly asking if he'd found his home world yet, but mostly being hyper in his training, since Naruto had looked up the basics for both callisthenics training and a few martial arts training since it turned out that his brawler style of fighting was horrible, showing that the teachers really threw him under the bus in that area.

But sometimes the doctor gets complaints about Naruto's pranks, so the doctor realised one important thing, "I need a professional help? Wait, that's it."

Quickly using his magic to summon a mobile, he made a call to someone, after that he called for Naruto, with the 14 year old making his appearance wondering what the man wanted, "I'm taking you to school."

Once hearing that, Naruto was planning to make a break for it, unfortunately for him, the doctor was well prepared for such a thing, using his magic to levitate Naruto into the air and keeping him still to listen to what he was gonna tell him, where he explained that by going to school Naruto will be able to learn how the world worked as well as possibly find someone who can travel dimensions, but also make friends to possibly help him along the way.

Though Naruto complained, he couldn't deny that the doctor was right, but then again it feels like the doctor was pulling a prank on Naruto, but the teen doubts that the Sorcerer Supreme would do such a childish thing, if only Naruto knew, so with that the two prepared to go to Naruto's new place of residence.

Xavier's School For The Gifted

Once the mystic and saiyan had arrived at the school, Naruto couldn't deny that it seemed pretty cooler than his old academy, so they made their way inside, with Naruto looking around at the decor outside the building, though when they walked up to the front doors a bald old man in an electric wheelchair was there to greet them, along with a white haired African-American woman, both having friendly smiles to the two.

The man smiled towards Doctor Strange, "Well doctor, I must say I was pleasantly surprised to gain a call from you, much less from the fact that you're asking the young man to become apart of my students."

Doctor Strange knew that the man was fishing for answers, since the doctor was a mystic he was magically blocked from anyone trying to read his mind, also he had no worries about Naruto since his ki can be used in the same way, but only if he keeps his guard up.

The Doctor replied back, "Well I explained to you about the special circumstances as to why I wish to enrol young Naruto here into your school."

The bald man simply smiled, "If I recall, you wanted to be rid of him because of is pranks." Though as it turned out, there was a slight glint in his eye.

Hearing this, Naruto's eyes widen, "I KNEW YOU WERE UP TO SOMETHING!" He exclaims, while pointing an accusing finger toward the mystic, with a twitching eye brow.

The doctor released a sigh, knowing he was just pranked by Charles for giving them a prankster, "That's only because YOU kept on pranking the other mystics while they were studying and practising, I kept telling you not to but you wouldn't listen, so now you'll be learning under Professor Charles Xavier here so that you can know more about the world, he is also highly qualified to be a teacher to such an unruly brat like you."

While Naruto started off sheepish because of his pranks, it soon changed a glare at the "unruly brat" comment that the doctor gave him, along with his monkey tail flaring up in anger as well, causing the bald man and white haired woman to be surprised at such a feature.

Though the two did find it amusing that a young man was arguing with the sorcerer supreme in such a way, clearing his throat to gain their attention, the bald man calls out, "All jokes to one side, how about we introduce ourselves, my name is Charles Xavier, a professor and headmaster of this institute, this person next to me is named Ororo Munroe and she teaches gardening and tends to the plant-life of the mansion."

Naruto just smiled and introduced himself in his own excited way, causing the two to smile at his exuberance, while the Doctor just releases a sigh in exhaustion at Naruto's hyperactivity, the professor just smiles, "Well it's nice to meet you young man, how about we give you a tour and explain where everything is and where you'll be staying for the foreseeable future."

With that the professor and Ororo showed the two around, with the professor explaining the history of the mansion and how it became a institute, seeing as Naruto's with Doctor Strange so it stands to reason that they should explain about mutants and their abilities, with Naruto being impressed at Ororo being able to control the weather, along with the Professor explaining to Naruto his psychic abilities.

Now that they have finished the tour, the group were now in the lounge, with Naruto explaining where he came from and how he ended up in Doctor Strange's care, with the doctor helping him to learn how to control his new energy and parts of his saiyan background that he could remember, which is why he now had a different hairstyle with black instead of golden blond locks and a stronger physic than before, along with his tail, though he explains he has no idea why he's got a tail.

But what no-one noticed was a certain red-haired girl was eavesdropping on the conversation, practically hearing everything that's being said, until, "You can come in Jean!" The Professor calls out, causing a slight yip to escape the girl's lips.

But she entered none the less, knowing the professor had used his ability to "spot" her listening in on the people inside the lounge, "I-I'm sorry Professor, but when I was walking the corridor and saw the two strangers here walking around in weird clothes I got curious." The 14-15 year old girl called jean says, as though she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

When heard the "weird clothes" comment, he looks at himself, then at Doctor Strange, "Are our clothes really weird!?" He couldn't help but ask, seeing as the doctor was wearing his usual Sorcerer Supreme outfit, though Naruto had on the basic training outfit that the trainers in the mystic arts wear, only with a hole in the back for his tail to poke out of. (A.N. Same type of outfit as Wong.)

Though the doctor just shrugs since he wasn't really bothered by the comment.

Seeing the doctor shrug, Naruto looks back at the red head, now noticing her red hair, and almost like a trance Naruto slowly walks up to the girl, with the girl in question wondering what the boy her age wants, though she did think his whisker birthmarks made him look cute, until she felt him grab a strand of her hair, where his next words cause her to blush, "Beautiful, almost like the red threads of fate," Suddenly he blinks his eyes, coming back into focus, "Why did I say that all of a sudden!?" Along with his own cheeks blushing the same colour as the girls hair.

This scene had caused the adults in the room to smile in amusement, with Ororo giggling slightly at the cute scene, once things have calmed down, the Professor asked Jean to take Naruto to his new room, downloading which room he'll be staying to Jean's head so she knows where to go, which in turn gave the adults the time to talk amongst themselves and finalise Naruto's stay at the institute as well as his new life at school.

Naruto's Room

Once in the room, Naruto saw how bare it was, figuring that in time, he'll be able to make it his own soon, though he ended up saying his byes to Jean with a very deep blush on his face due to what he said about her hair and apologising for embarrassing her as well, which she dismissed explaining how it was alright, though before she left she told him that she thought his whiskermarks were cute, which caused Naruto to blush again and Jean to run and escape the embarrassment.

Once he managed to calm down, "Thud!" Naruto heard something, turning around, he saw laying on his bed was a package of some kind, though he noticed there was a slight wisps of orange/red energy disappearing, telling him that it was possibly the Doctor's or Wong's magic portal being used to drop the package off, more than likely a present from the two.

Opening the package up, Naruto saw a blue oriental cloak that flops out, but before he could say anything it suddenly floats up and quickly wraps around Naruto's neck, with Naruto thinking it was gonna attack him, but it turned out the cloak was now perched on his back, like the doctor's own cloak of levitation, the cloak then brings a note up for Naruto, with Naruto being puzzled, "Um, thanks?" He couldn't help but say to the mystical artifact.

He then reads the note:

"Dear Naruto,

We hope that you have a good time learning as much as you need to in the outside world, hopefully in time you can see this world as your home, at least until we've figured out where the Elemental Nation is, but until then, please stay safe and allow the cloak of protection to protect you from any harm,

Your Friends, Wong and Doctor Strange." (A.N. A blue version of Doctor Strange's cloak of levitation.)

The cloak then brought something else up in it's other "hand", allowing Naruto to grab it, "P.S. Please feel free to use the Aecilius Sling Ring to visit us from time to time."

Naruto has a smile on his face, knowing that the Doctor and Wong will miss him in their own way, though he missed a slight tear trailing down his cheek, but the cloak of protection's collar moved and caught the tear, making Naruto look towards it and brushed it away slightly, though still had a slight smile at the thoughtfulness of the mystical artefact's care, knowing that the items had their own special way of things.

Looks like the reborn Saiyan will be having a more interesting adventure from now on, though he can't help but wonder if school-life really will be interesting or not.
