The story takes place right after the season 10 finale, after Dean killed Death, the Mark of Cain was removed and Darkness was released into the world. I mentioned before, new characters will be added and thrown in the story and I will bring back several former characters from the show in the upcoming future.
Chapter 110 Just Like Family
That evening after the three women and Castiel left, the remaining party, Dean, Sam, Adam and Charlie now used the time to catch up now that they were alone just the four of them. First, Dean took the Book of Damned from where Castiel left it and placed in one of the storage rooms that contained other spell books and placed inside the wooden curse box also stored there and locked it as the other three followed and watched. Now he was relieved that the book was stored away safe from anyone being placed in dangerous hands and just sighed. Then the four of them just sat down in the main room and all talked their heads off, as the Winchesters have Charlie the lowdown on what they've been since she had "died and then been resurrected such as trying to defeat the Darkness, meeting Ava, Gwen and Madame Bess, about their adventures in the parallel world that Hannah sent all of them to and their bond with those women.
Also their hunting cases and then finding and catching Rowena with the help of the three women, and her leading them on a wild goose chase finding ingredients for a spell to place the Mark of Cain back on Dean that didn't even exist being subdued by one of her minions Isadora and Rowena then transporting them in different worlds trapped and separated from one another with each of the two young women as companions.
Then all of them including Adam gave her info about Adam and how he is their half-brother and what happened to him and how they got him back in their lives and Charlie just listened to them with fascination. She even gave them her story about her adventures with Rowena while under her servitude spell as she remembered everything even though she wasn't in control and all the things Rowena made her do. Charlie also express her curiosity over Dean and Sam's sort of relationships with Ava and Gwen and couldn't resist pressing them more about it causing awkwardness and discomfort among the two brothers. Adam also couldn't resist his curiosity as well and his need to get in all the gossip.
"So, do you two have some kind of thing with those chicks are not?" Charlie asked smirking like a gossipy teenager.
"Yeah, I been wondering that as well" replied Adam also smirking.
Dean and Sam just exchanged quick glares embarrassingly and slightly sighed.
"Well, it's complicated" replied Sam awkwardly.
"Yeah, complicated" repeated Dean.
"Come on guys, it's not so complicated at all, either you do or not" said Charlie a bit slyly.
"Yeah, did something go on between the two you guys and the babes when you were trapped in the land of the dead and inside a drawing" asked Adam eager for some dirt.
Dean and Sam just had that same awkward look on their faces as they both just sat there not answering any of the questions. Both Charlie's and Adam's eyes lit up at the looks they were given.
"Oh boy, something did happen between you guys and the babes" Adam said in glee.
"Yeah, it's written all over your faces" said Charlie with the same expressions as Adam's.
"Okay, something may had happened with me and Ava" Dean replied with the same embarrassed expression on his face. "
Yeah and same with me and Gwen" replied Sam.
Then Dean turned to Sam with a curious look.
"Really, you and Gwen got down and dirty?" he replied with a grin.
"Just like you and Ava" Sam retorted back.
Dean just smirked and said, "Well, you know being stuck there for days not knowing when we are ever getting rescued, trying to dodge any strange creature down there things can happen between a guy and chick just the two of them" he said in a bragging tone.
"Yeah, I know, except for the creatures part" replied Sam.
"Oh man, so both of you got some action while being trapped in wherever, with a couple of hot babes, while I was worrying my head off about you guys" replied Adam sounding a bit jealous but also kind of impressed.
"Hey, what about you that Darcy chick from the bar, I thought you two had sort of a thing going on" said Dean.
Adam just sighed.
"Oh, her, well we kind of over before we even started. I mean when I didn't here from you guys and was worried, wasn't the right time to pursue a relationship, I even stopped answering her calls for awhile until I finally called back only to tell her that I was having family problems and didn't think it was a good time for me to keep seeing her which wasn't exactly a lie and I felt it was fair if I least told her up front instead of ignoring her" said Adam.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Adam, it didn't work out, you didn't have to stop seeing her on our account" said Sam.
"Hey, look Darcy was nice and hot and all but it wasn't like we were in love or anything, besides you guys are far important. Afterall, there're other fish in the sea" said Adam.
"Wow, thanks there, little brother" said Dean.
"Same goes for me, little bro" replied Sam.
"Ah, this sounds so sweet, and the part about you and those two chicks, by the way does that mean you two have something special with them, are they your girlfriends now?" asked Charlie curiously.
Both Dean and Sam had another awkward look on there faces as if they didn't know just how to answer that.
"Well, we" they both said at the same time struggling on what to say.
"Oh, really guys, I saw the way you two look at those girls and how they looked at you, there definitely is something special between you all" said Charlie.
"It's complicated Charlie" was all Sam could say.
"Yeah right, are you going to see them again or anything?" she asked.
"Yeah, I thought they were kind of nice and you guys really were like lovesick puppies around them" replied Adam.
"No, we weren't" said Sam defensively.
"Trust me guys, you were, so are you going to see them again?" Charlie replied.
Well, you know..." Dean was about to say but Charlie interrupted.
"I know it's complicated. Only it really isn't. I know being hunters in all you two think you don't have any room for a relationship but those two chicks aren't just any women, one is a hunter just like you guys, the other a psychic, plus from I heard from you all, those women already shared in some of your many adventures and being trapped those places with just the two of you each, you each shared a bond, a connection, maybe it's fate way of saying you are each meant to be with them" said Charlie.
"Wow, you are beginning to sound a lot like Gwen" said Sam.
"Well, that makes me like your Gwen even more now" Charlie replied.
"Well, I'm with what she said, I don't know much about this fate stuff, but I do know when I someone hooked, and the way you were around them, you guys are really hooked, so maybe if there is something special there, you should at least see how it goes" said Adam.
"You know, can we really change the subject now, we aren't up to talking more about this" said Sam.
"Yeah, same here, all I can say is me and Sam have to work this out ourselves" Dean added.
"But we get you guys are trying to help but Dean is right" Sam then added too.
Both Charlie and Adam just glared at each other and sighed a bit.
"Okay, I think that's' there way of letting of know they want us to shut up about it already" replied Adam.
"Yeah, looks that way" Charlie said.
"We are exactly saying that" Sam replied awkwardly.
"Yes, that is exactly what we're saying" Dean corrected in a more serious tone.
"Alright, we'll back off, I mean it's your life and your decisions and all" replied Charlie casually.
"Yeah, it's got nothing to do with us at all whatsoever" Adam added.
"Thanks guys" replied Dean.
Charlie kind of just sighed and tried to act unphased and not a care. "But I just hope you work it out with your girlfriends before you screw it up" she told them.
"Charlie…." Dean replied but Charlie cut him off.
"I know, I know calling them your girlfriends is a bit too presumptuous right now" she told him.
"Yeah, well how about your main squeezes" Adam added.
"Adam…" replied Sam this time.
"Or your honeys, ladies or what about sweethearts?" replied Charlie in teasing way.
"Or your babes" Adam added joining in on the fun.
"Okay you two knock it off" said Dean as both Charlie and Adam just kind of laughed.
Then Sam turned to Dean and said, "Well, this is a good old family reunion" in a sarcastic tone as Dean kind of rolled his eyes.
The gang continued hanging out together that night just enjoying their time together again it in a way it felt like they were never separated. That Charlie was never dead, Dean and Sam were never trapped in another place far from home. They really were like a gang of siblings hanging out. They talked about showing Charlie around town and taking her out for dinner sometime or any outing soon especially now that the Darkness is gone and daylight is back, they can really hit the streets or the great outdoors. Time passed so much that it was later than they thought nearly midnight. So, the gang decided to retire for bed and they led Charlie to one of the bedrooms in the bunker.
"Really great having you back Charlie" Dean replied one last time as he was standing at the bedroom door preparing to close the it as he leaves.
"Same here Dean" she said with a smile.
Then he left and Dean retired to his bedroom and in no time all four of them were in their beds, with Charlie changing into a long shirt as pajamas. Neither of them could sleep right away still exited by what all had happened that day which was one of the happiest days of their lives.
