The story takes place right after the season 10 finale, after Dean killed Death, the Mark of Cain was removed and Darkness was released into the world. I mentioned before, new characters will be added and thrown in the story and I will bring back several former characters from the show in the upcoming future.
Chapter 117 Welcome Back Charlie
Within seconds, the whole gang was all now in the bunker just where Castiel transported them. They all looked around their surroundings now relieved to be away from the grand coven especially after double crossing the witches.
"Well, I can say I never been glad to be back" said Dean as they all let go of Castiel and stepped away.
"Same here" said Sam.
"I'm just glad you guys found me and help free me from being Rowena's bitch" replied Charlie.
"Believe us so are we" said Dean as he gave Charlie a little pat on the shoulder showing his enthusiasm of her being back to her old self.
"Well, I'm for one just glad we got away from those witches before they caught up to us" replied Madame Bess.
"Yeah and we couldn't have gotten the Book and the codex back without your help" said Dean and he was right.
The plan to trick those witches went well. While they were hiding in the other room as Rowena was talking to the witches to convert them into her crazy plan, they headed into the library area where they found a dictionary and Madame Bess just stuffed the book in her large purse she was carrying with her. The plan was to do a switch-a-roo once they got a hold of Rowena's handbag that contained the book and codex after she was trapped. They grab the handbag from Charlie while Dean was restraining her Charlie and then Sam gave the bag to Madame Bess promising to hand it over the coven once the spells are removed. Madame Bess attempts to do a quick switch unnoticed with Sam standing in front of her to block her view from the others and they were all so focused on Rowena anyway to pay any attention. But that plan had to change a bit when Rowena ordered Charlie to make a run for it with the handbag before they had a chance to take it back but luckily they caught up to her outside the house before she got a chance to get away. Once they had her pinned down, they made the switch right there and then. Dean was practically on top of Charlie face down the ground so she couldn't see the switch while Sam gave Madame Bess the handbag. Then Dean told them all of to make a run for it after handing over the handbag knowing the witches wouldn't be too thrilled when the realized they were duped. Luckily Castiel came back onee they called him back and he seemed to caught on when Dean told to leave the earlier as Dean gave him that look letting him know that they will need his help later and will call him once they did. And sure enough, he arrived just as they called for him and rescued them from the coven and now they all back in the bunker and everything is okay again.
"I am only glad to help my dears" said Madame Bess.
"We can never thank you anymore" said Dean as he ran up to Madame Bess and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek as if he was kissing his mother and Madame Bess was quite pleased. "Oh, by the way, can we have the book and the codex?" he asked her.
"Sure thing" replied Madame Bess then she unzipped her purse and pulled out the Book of Damned and the codex and handed both of them to Dean who then went to place them on the map table before heading back to where everybody was standing.
"I'm too glad that everybody is all right and back here safe and Charlie is back to her normal self" replied Castiel who wanted to express his relief and joy that everything went well.
"Hey, we couldn't have done it without you either Cas, thanks a lot" replied Dean.
"That goes for me too, thanks Cas" Sam added.
"Anytime fellows" said Castiel with smile just glad he was getting praised for his part an all of this.
"Hey, where is Adam, can't wait to share him the good news" said Sam as he was looking around.
Just then Adam just came in the door from upstairs as he had apparently gone out.
"Hey, guys you'll back already" he said as he was rushing downstairs.
"Yes, and he got good news, we got Charlie back and she's no longer under Rowena's spell for good this time!" cried out Dean as Adam continued to rush downstairs.
"Hey, that's great!" cried out Adam and once downstairs he rushed up to the gang. "I'm glad you guys are back safe and you're alright" he said to Charlie as he nearly ran up to hug her but held back.
"So am I" replied Charlie who was also glad to see Adam again.
"Hey, where were you anyway?" asked Dean curiously.
"Oh, I just went out to take a walk. I just couldn't just stay cooped up in this place worrying about you all, so I left to take a brief walk now that you know the Darkness is gone and everything just get my mind off it. But hey, you guys are back and Charlie is back no longer under that spell from that crazy witch Rowena for real this time?" Adam exclaimed.
"Yes, don't worry Adam, Rowena no longer has any power over me and by the way I'm sorry for what a I did you the last time I was here with that sleeping spell and all" said Charlie.
"Hey, all's forgiving after all you were not yourself from what I understood" replied Adam in a calm tone like it was no big deal.
"Still, I feel bad, but glad you're okay" said Charlie.
"Sure no sleeping spell can do me any damage, I'm over it really" said Adam reassuringly.
"Oh, good, now I'm not under Rowena's power anymore I would really like us to start over become good friends" Charlie told him.
"I like that too you know" said Adam as Charlie smiled at him pleased that everything is all forgiven. Adam then turned to the guys. "Hey guys, I really would like the lowdown on what happened, how you got Rowena to undo that slave spell for real this time and did you take care of Rowena once and for all which I hope you did" he said eagerly.
"Well, it's a long story Adam, we're tell you later okay, we just got Charlie back here and we want to celebrate" said Dean.
"I'm glad you are all reunited and everything is okay again but I have to get back now if you don't mind" replied Madame Bess.
"Yeah, sure, Castiel can take you back home" said Dean.
"I rather be at my place of business, Gwen has been running the place by herself for now but I really need to be there too" she told them.
"Sure thing" said Sam then he turned to Castiel. "Cas, can you take her back?" he asked him.
"Sure, I do so right away" he said.
But as he tried to place his hand on her shoulder Madame Bess pulled a way a bit.
"Just hold up, there is something I need to say first" she told him and Castiel backed off.
Madame Bess then turned to Sam. "You know, Sam, Gwen wanted to be here and help with the case. I think she just wanted a reason to see you again. You know she really does miss you and hasn't stopped thinking about you since she's been back home" she told him.
"I miss her too ma'am" Sam said with a bit of a sad look on his face as he started thinking about her again.
"I know, well anyway she wanted me to tell you something" she replied.
"What, what is it?" asked Sam a bit eagerly.
Madame Bess just walked closely to him in a motherly way.
"She wants you to give her you answer and soon, it's driving her crazy not knowing what want to do about the two of you. So please, to ease her state of mind as well as my own let her know you answer already. Please don't keep her waiting too long" she told him placing her hand on his shoulder in a tender way. Sam still looking a bit sad just nodded. "I understand ma'am" he told her. "Good, I know whatever decision you make, you will do what you feel is best" she told him as Sam just nodded again now silent. Then Madame Bess removed her hand from his shoulder and turned to the others.
"Well, this is goodbye for now, I'm more than glad to have helped with getting your dear friend Charlie here back" she told them.
"We will forever be grateful" said Dean.
"And whenever you need my and Gwen's help in the future, all you have to do is ask" she told them.
"We will anytime and the same goes for us" said Sam.
Then Madame Bess reached over and gave Sam a little motherly hug who in turn hugged her back and kissed her gently on the cheek. Then she have the two other brothers a motherly hug and finally giving one to Charlie and told her "take care honey" as Charlie nodded and thanked her again.
She then turned to Castiel and said, "Okay angel dear, I'm ready".
Before Castiel went over to her Dean spoke up to him. "Hey, Cas, after you drop Madame Bess home, why don't you come back and stick around, we love to have you for this special occasion and Cas thanks again" he told him. Castiel just nodded his head and said, "Anytime guys". He then placed his hand on Madame Bess's shoulder and within seconds, they both disappeared.
"Oh, well, I guess it's just the four of us now" replied Charlie not knowing what else to say.
"Yeah it's be that way for now on, we are never gonna lose you again if we can help it kiddo" said Dean with still glee in his eyes.
"Yeah, we got you back and that's all that counts now" replied Sam.
Charlie's smile faded briefly. "You know guys, I still don't know where we go from here, I mean what my next plan is" she told them.
"Hey, we said it before, you got a home now right with us" said Dean.
"But guys, I can't promise you that I'll just move in here and live with you all permanently, there may be a time I might decide to take off and go wherever" she said.
"Well, we told you before, you are welcome to stay as long as you like and when if you do decide to take off again in the future, you will always have a home with us right here whenever you return no matter what" Dean told her.
"Yeah, that goes for me too Charlie" said Sam.
"Hey, I guess that goes me also. I mean I may not know you as well as they do but it was cool having you around before, I mean before you took off with the book under Rowena's spell and all but now you're longer her slave, I liked having a chess partner and everything plus you owe me a rematch" Adam said in an almost awkward stay.
"Yeah, Charlie, it wasn't same without you" said Dean.
"Okay, I will accept your invitation and consider this home for now, I mean" she told them.
"Perfect, and like I said before, there is going to be a celebrating. Once Cas gets back here, we're all having dinner together and you can have anything you like, get pizza or whatever, you name it Charlie" Dean told her.
"Well, pizza it is with pepperoni" she told him.
"And anchovies" Adam added.
"Yuck no way" replied Sam making a bit of a face.
"Hey, what's wrong with anchovies?" Adam asked a bit offended.
Soon Sam and Adam just started debating with each other over the pizza while Dean just shook his head and sighed.
"Welcome home Charlie" he told her and soon pulled her into a hug.
Sam and Adam stopped their debate looked on and soon Sam joined in.
"That goes the same for me too" he told her. "
I guess it's a group hug" said Adam and they all joined in giving a group hug just like close family.
I'm sorry it took so long to post this chapter, but I was wrapped up with other things in addition to typing new chapters. I will be wrapping up this fanfic with several more chapters to go as the TV show is about to end with its final season. I will post more chapters sooner from now on.
