Harry and Rose eagerly waited at the waiting area. They were waiting for the couple who were getting married to get done.
"I can't believe we're doing this!" Rose said in excitement.
"I know!" Harry reciprocated the feeling.
"How long are these people gonna take?" she asked, growing more impatient by the minute.
"I know. Who takes so long to get married in..." Harry's sentence wasn't finished when the gates of the chapel flung open. They were horrified with what they saw. Louis and Gemma jumped out without noticing them.
"We're married!" Gemma exclaimed.
"I can proudly say I married my ex girlfriend!" Louis announced as they walked out hand in hand.
Harry and Rose stood there, dumbfounded. They looked at each other and nodded, comprehending that what they saw was real.
"Are they? Did they? We're they?" Harry asked, not knowing what else to say.
"We've to go after them. Now!" Rose said and dragged Harry along. They walked into the hotel and followed them. The two who just got drunk and married didn't even realise that they were being followed. They entered Louis' room and slammed the door behind them. Harry knocked on it multiple times but there was no response. He finally gave up.
"What the fuck?!" Rose said as she put a hand on her head. "I don't believe this!" Harry punched his fist in his hand. They stood there when they heard voices approaching the hallway.
"Hey, that's Niall's voice," Harry recognised. "But this isn't his floor."
"Maybe he also saw them on the way,"Rose suggested.
"No, then we'd have seen him."
"Then let's ask him directly."
They saw Niall walk in the corridor with a beautiful blonde girl, laughing and chatting. Harry held Rose's hand and pulled her to the side, hiding in the other end of the corridor.
Niall and Carissa walked up to her room's door and stopped there.
"I had a great time, tonight. You're really funny, ya know," she said as she brushed her hair behind her ears.
"I enjoyed a lot too. I think it'd be great if we did this more often," he said as he loosened the same strand she had tucked and smiled. She blushed a little and nodded.
"So, when do you want to?" she asked.
"I'm going back tomorrow. But I guess next week's gonna be nice."
"Wednesday ?"
"Well... okay." he gave it a thought but eventually agreed.
"Let's decide when and where later?" she suggested and he agreed.
"Umm, you wanna come in for some tea or something?" she offered, not ready to call it a night yet.
"Isn't it a little late?" he raised an eyebrow.
"One cup won't do much harm," she placed a hand on his arm, "c'mon."
"Okay, sure," he smiled and walked in as she closed the door behind them.
"What is happening?" Harry said as he and Rose stopped hiding.
"Your sister married Louis, Niall is with this girl and Liam, god knows what he's up to," Rose reminded him.
"I need time to process the fact that Louis and Gemma... my God!"
"It's okay, we'll talk to them tomorrow morning, they'll figure it out. Let's get some sleep."
"You're right. Tomorrow's gonna be a long morning," saying that they walked into their room.
The next morning Louis woke up with a headache after he overslept a little. He stretched his arms and turned to the other side. He got the shock of his life.
"Aaahhhh!" he screamed as Gemma's eyes slowly opened.
"Who's making so much noise?!" she sounded irritated and threw a pillow at Louis' face.
"Gemma wake the fuck up!" Gemma rubbed her eyes and slowly opened them full. She first looked here and there and then her eyes trailed off to Louis.
"Aaaaaahhhh!!" she also screamed and put his fingers in his ears.
"No, we didn't!" she said as she pulled the sheets a little upwards.
"How else do you explain the absence of clothing and us being in the same room?" Louis sassed her and she frowned.
"Okay, umm, we were really really really drunk. I don't even remember anything!" she squinted her eyes, trying to remember.
"Neither do I," Louis whispered.
"Wait, I'll umm get to my... my room... and we never talk about it again. Okay?"
"I think that's be best for both of us," Louis agreed to her plan. "Did we leave this room last night?" Louis asked as Gemma hurriedly put her remaining clothes on.
"I don't know. Did we go downstairs?" Gemma tried to remember.
"I really can't remember. But I think you should leave now."
"Right." Gemma left the room and Louis defencelessly fell on his bed.
Harry and Rose were the first ones to appear for that morning. They didn't want to miss a chance to get answers for their questions. They filled their plates and waited for the others. Zayn came down first. He ignored them and went to the coffee counter, filled a mug and joined them.
"How you feeling?" Harry asked, teasingly.
"Don't fucking ask," Zayn whispered as he sat in front of him. "I just remembered what I did to Louis last night. Holy hell!"
"Yeah, he texted us saying that you got drunk and hysterical, and then you passed out," Harry informed.
"I can't keep it in anymore! Louis and Gemma got married last night!" Rose blurted out and Zayn almost chocked on his coffee.
"What?!" he asked, eyes widened.
"Yeah, they got drunk and married!" she further informed.
"How do you know?" Zayn asked and Harry and Gemma stiffened in awkwardness. Their cheeks turned a light pink and they looked in separate directions.
"Guys? How do you know?" Zayn pushed them.
"Well, we saw them get out of the chapel while we were taking a walk and they were screaming 'we're married'" Rose instantly covered up and Harry let out a breath.
"Oh my fucking god! That little shit! He got drunk and married!"
"Shh, you don't want anyone to know!" Harry shushed him and Zayn toned down. Niall joined them for breakfast. He brought his food.
"Good morning," he greeted them with a smile, oblivious of the tension of the situation. The three of them raised their eyebrows at him but he didn't even notice.
"Niall!" Harry called him.
"What?" he looked up, still oblivious.
"Where were you yesterday?" Harry asked.
"I, well, I was hanging out."
"With Liam?" Zayn asked.
"I doubt that," Harry smirked.
"Okay Haz, what do you know?" Niall asked.
"Well I know for sure that you weren't with Liam," Rose winked.
"What do both of you know?" Niall was confused.
"So, who's the blonde?" Harry asked, smirk widening.
"God!" Niall whispered in defeat.
"C'mon Niall, we don't usually keep secrets," Harry said.
"Wait, am lost. What blonde are we talking about?" Zayn was confused.
"Niall was hanging out with this girl with blonde locks last night," Rose informed Zayn.
"Basically everybody did something and I just simply passed out," Zayn said, disappointed in himself.
"Ignoring you, so Niall..." Harry turned towards him.
"Okay, so I met her yesterday, she's here with her friends and we went out last night. That's it," Niall briefly shared the information and none of them were satisfied.
"Name?" Zayn asked.
"Niall...?" Niall answered.
"Not your, you idiot. Hers."
"Oh, oh, Carissa."
"Ah-ha. So when are you meeting her again?" Rose asked.
"Later this week." That's when Liam joined them.
"Morning fellas," he greeted, but his mind was diverted.
"Dude, where were you last night?" Harry asked.
"I was...in my room...doing nothing..."
"We all know you're a bad liar, Liam," Zayn remarked.
"Okay fine, I had met this girl at the bar. I went to her room at night but her friends were there so she came to mine. But she went before I woke up this morning."
"Okay, so everybody had fun!" Zayn exclaimed and crossed his arms around his chest.
"Yeah but she's checked out this morning," Liam informed.
"You don't have her number?" Harry asked.
"Nope. I just know that her name's Daphne and she a columnist in New York."
"You don't even know her fucking last name?" Niall asked.
"Umm.. no.." Liam said.
"God Payno, but if she wants to meet you again, she can come up anytime," Harry said
"Well, she also doesn't know who I am exactly. She didn't really recognize me."
"Then it's a lost cause," Zayn shook his head.
"But guys, all this is not important.. like it is... but not as important," Harry said.
"Louis and Gemma got drunk and married last night!" Rose blurted out.
"What the fuck?!" Liam and Niall said in unison.
That's when Louis joined them with his breakfast. "Morning guys," he greeted. Everyone stared at him and Harry shot a deadly glare.
"Okay, why's everyone looking at me like that?" Louis asked.
"You tell me!" Harry intensified his glare.
"I can't believe you did that, Tommo!" Liam remarked. "When you were drunk!" Niall added.
"Oh my gosh. How'd you guys know?" Louis asked. He thought they knew that he and Gemma slept with each other last night but he was wrong.
"We saw you guys!" Rose said.
"How on fucking earth did you see us?! Where was your godforsaken decency?!" Louis reacted.
"Wait, I think this conversation is not what it looks like," Zayn said. Just then Gemma came and sat next to Harry and everyone stared at her.
"Why's everyone looking at me like that?" she asked just like Louis did.
"I think they know that... that we.." Louis stammered.
"What?! How?! We were that drunk?!"
"I'm sure there's a misunderstanding. Louis and Gemma, what're you guys talking about?" Zayn asked.
"Umm, that, we, I mean Louis and I, last night, got drunk and we, umm, fooled around," Gemma said, pausing repeatedly.
"What?! You guys don't even remember?!" Harry asked.
"Remember what?" Louis asked.
"That you got married!" Rose informed.
"We what?!" Gemma exclaimed.
"Yes, we saw you walk out of the chapel when we...were taking...a walk," Rose covered up and Niall and Zayn grew suspicious for her pauses.
"No freaking way!" Louis reacted.
"I-I-I-I need to...we didn't... I mean... oh no!" Gemma slapped her hands on her forehead.
"Now what are you guys gonna do?" Harry asked, still glaring.
"What's there to do? Go back and.. and get divorced... oh my god!" Louis said.
"It's gonna such a scandal if anyone finds out," Zayn said.
"We don't have to get a divorce, we'll get this annulled. No one needs to find out," Gemma suggested.
"Yeah exactly, okay, sure," Louis blabbered.
"I... I need to go," Gemma got up and walked out. They all sat there and stared at Harry.
"Yeah right, I'll go," Harry finally realised and ran after her.
"I'm gonna... I'm gonna get some tea," Louis also got up but headed towards the washroom instead and Zayn went after him.
"I can't believe this is happening!" Rose shook her head.
"So, what are you and Harry hiding?" Liam asked.
"Us! Nothing!" Rose defended too much.
"You're definitely hiding something," Liam rolled his eyes. "Tried to much to lie," Niall shook his shoulders.
"Okay fine, don't tell him I told you. We kinda were about to take an impulsive decision last night."
"Which is..." Niall pushed.
"We were gambling and we decided to get married if my bet was right..."
"And?" Liam asked.
"It was. We even went to the chapel but we saw Louis and Gemma so we followed them instead," Rose said and laid back on her seat.
"The brother almost got married and the sister ended up getting married," Liam said, sarcastically.
"Yeah, but now, it seems stupid. It seems like we were making a big mistake,"Rose said.
"Obviously," said Niall.
"But what if he still wants to? How do I tell him that I don't.. I mean.. I don't want to break his heart."
"But you've gotta talk to him," Niall said.
"Just tell him how you like things the way they are now and don't want to get married right away," Liam suggested.
"Yeah, Harry's very understanding," Niall added.
"I guess, you're right. We've to talk about it anyways so... yeah okay. Thanks guys. Just don't tell him I told you," said Rose.
"Of course," Liam promised.
End of chapter. Extremely short. Sorry. Next one will be big, I swear. XoXo.
