It's been fourteen years since he was found by his father and was taken in by his parents and clan. Since then several things happen, when he was five-year-old his father killed himself and his mother died in childbirth, leaving him and his newborn sister in the care of his clan members. He later graduates from the academy, while still being five-year-old. He was placed on a team with Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara, under the leadership of Minato Namikaze. A year later, at age six he became a Chūnin after beating Might Guy in the Chūnin Exam.

Minato makes it his mission to take care of Kakashi and his younger sister as he was good friends with their father. Soon Obito, Rin, and Kushina Uzumaki met his younger sister who all have them wrapped around her finger and she's one. At age seven, he and his team ran into a twelve-year-old Regulus Black on one of their missions and he was lost, Kakashi finally remembers his life before. His life as Sirius Orion Black and of the wizarding world. He remembers Remus Lupin, James and Lily Potter, the betrayal of Peter and his godson Harry.

After remembering everything, he realizes that he was acting very much like what his former mother Walburga Black wanted him to act like. He looks backs on everyone in his life, but mostly Obito and Rin. Obito now reminds him of James and Rin reminds him of two people Remus and Lily. He decided to try to be nicer to them, which later causes Obito to proclaim that he was acting strangely. But Rin likes his changes of heart, but Minato asks him what happen to him to make this sudden change.

He remembers his mother telling him to never reveal his abilities or the past he didn't know yet to anyone unless he fully trusts them. He didn't understand and he thinks it because he was four almost five, but still. Now he understood what his mother had asked of him, but he knows he can trust Minato. He told Minato of his abilities and his past life. Minato looked like he fully believed him, and he did say so as Kakashi isn't the type to lie to him.

Konoha eventually became embroiled in the Third Shinobi World War. Kakashi and his team were assigned to destroy the Kannabi Bridge in Kusagakure to cut off Iwagakure's supply line. But Minato was needed on the frontline, leaving Kakashi at age twelve in charges of his team. Before Minato left them, he and Rin both gave him presents for his promotion to Jōnin. Afterward, Kakashi with Obito and Rin went to Kusagakure; after entering Kusa they were attacked by other shinobi.

Rin was kidnapped by them, causing both Kakashi and Obito to go to her recuse her. They managed to find and recuse her, but the cave was collapsing and so they all had to rush to the exist. Kakashi had to use his magic to save Obito from a falling boulder. They were both shocked that Kakashi had a bloodline and didn't tell them, but Kakashi told them they can't deal with it right then as they needed to get out of there. After making it out of the cave, they were met with their sensei and Kakashi had to tell them everything.

At the end of the mission, they destroyed the Kannabi Bridge. They all went back to the village to rest, it didn't take long from something to happen as some time after the mission with the Kannabi Bridge, Rin was secretly kidnapped Rin was kidnapped. Minato, Obito, and Kakashi eventually found her, but Minato notices something was off. Kakashi used his dōjutsu to see what Minato meant and that's when he saw the seal on her heart. Minato didn't know what to do until Kakashi remember that he had made a Justu for the Medical-nins.

The said Justu is made up of magic and chakra, it allows the user to phase their hand into their patient's bodies to stop internal bleeding or bring something out like a seal. Look likes his Justu will save Rin when he acted the justu he carefully phases his hand into her and near her heart. He knew that a seal on the heart cannot be removed, but he hopes that the magic within the justu can hope with that. Sometime after he felt something happening like his magic was surrounding her heart and the seal. He removed his hand from her chest and looked up at Minato, before saying that they will have to wait until Konoha to see if it works.

They did make it back to the village eventually, well after Minato had stopped Rin from committing suicide by jumping in front of Kakashi's Chidori. In the village, they met with Jiraiya who looked at Rin with the help of an x-ray. But it's seemed that Kakashi's magic is slowly removing the seal after it stopped what it was supposed to do. So, in other words, both Rin and the village were safe; but it was also meaning that Rin will forever be the Jinchūriki of the Three-Tails. Luckily, the only ones who knew were Jiraiya and Team Minato, they all decided it was best to keep it that way even from the Hokage himself.

Now in October, Minato who then was the Fourth Hokage allowed Kakashi, Rin, Obito to go outside the nations on a mission for Kakashi's godson and hopefully James and Lily. They left the village and to the Land of Waves to borrow a ship with Minato's letter. It's taken several days to get to the Land of Waves and several days to reach England, even with magic pushing the boat. They made it to England on the 31st and it was night, hopefully, they weren't too late. When they sailed into port, they got off when they were able too.

Kakashi along with Obito and Rin rushes to hopefully save the Potters, while the ship and its crew wait for them. Once they were at Godric Hallow, Kakashi still rushes to the cottage even if he was tried like the other two. But he then stopped, causing Obito to bump into him and fall on his backside.

"Kakashi, why did you stop so suddenly" Obito whined, but then stopped as he saw Kakashi staring at something and he followed his line of sight as did Rin. Potter's cottage was destroyed.

''No, we're too late'' Kakashi whispered, Rin was about to comfort him when he heard something

''Kakashi, listen I hear a baby'' Rin said causing Kakashi to run into the cottage, Rin and Obito followed their friend lead into the cottage.

When inside the cottage they saw a dead man body on the stairs, which must be James. Obito and Rin walked upstairs carefully walking to the side of the late James Potter. They walked into the destroyed nursery, just to see a female dead body who be Lily Potter. They then turned to Kakashi who was holding a baby, who must be Harry James Potter. Rin thought that Harry was cute, but then looked down at Lily and then at Obito.
