A/N: I went back and looked at the conversation where it revealed Mytyl was afraid of roaches. If you look at it, it says Mytyl screamed, however, she is mute. How this is possible, I have no idea. Anyways, enjoy as always!
One day, while Gunvolt was out on a mission, Joule was making herself some Yakisoba noodles. Joule was about to put some water in the pot she just grabbed. But when she looked into the pot, she saw a brown creature with two long antennae, a relatively small head, a broad, flattened body, large compound eyes and two ocelli.
"Ah!" Joule screamed.
Joule dropped the pot onto the floor with a loud 'clang'. Joule watched in terror as the brown menace scurried behind the refrigerator, terrified of the sound. Joule hurriedly grabbed her phone of the kitchen counter, her hands trembling in terror. Joule barely managed to prevent the phone from falling onto the floor along with the pot.
Joule rapidly typed, 'what to do when you see a brown bug with long antennae' into her phones search bar. When she clicked 'enter', she saw several results for 'how to get rid of roaches'. Joule glanced over her phone to look at the refrigerator.
"Roach? That's what it is?" Joule wondered.
Joule looked back at her phone and tapped the first result she got. The website said 'the most humane way to get rid of roaches is to catch them with a glass. When you have the roach, place something under the glass and place it outside.' Joule did just that.
Joule went into one of the cabinets before finding what she was looking for. Joule retracted her arm out of the cabinet, 8 oz restaurant style drinking glass in her left hand. Joule then grabbed a few papers she threw into the trash she was using to practice writing her name and unfurled them.
Joule then tip toed over to the refrigerator as to not frighten the roach. Joule placed her back to the fridge when she noticed the shadow of the roach on the wall. When the roach exited it's safety zone behind the refrigerator, Joule tried placing the cup onto the roach.
However, the roach had other plans. The roach scuttled up Joule's left leg, resulting in Joule jumping and shaking her leg around. Joule hit her head into one of the walls whilst trying to eliminate the roach. Joule grabbed her head and dropped the glass which shattered into several miniscule shards.
When Joule heard the apartment door open, she noticed the roach was gone and the kitchen was a mess. Joule rapidly tried to clean what she could before Gunvolt walked in. However, it was much too late for that, for Gunvolt was looking worriedly at Joule.
"What happened?" Gunvolt asked.
Joule whipped her head around to see Gunvolt curiously staring at her.
Joule nervously rubbed the back of her neck with her left hand while embarrassingly looking at the floor.
"Well, um, there was a-" however, Joule was caught off guard by the shadow of the roach on the counter.
"Roach!" Joule shouted loudly.
Gunvolt then realized what happened.
"That's all the fuss was over? A little roach?" Gunvolt laughed.
Joule angrily crossed her arms while looking at her unmade noodles.
"You'd be scared to if you were alone with a roach." Joule muttered angrily.
"I'll get it." Gunvolt spoke.
Gunvolt reached into the cabinet and grabbed another glass before taking the papers Joule was going to use and walked over to the counter. Gunvolt quickly placed the glass over the roach before sliding the papers underneath and walking over to the window. Gunvolt then put it in one of Joule's flowerpots outside the window, watching as it scuttled away.
