Better Together Chapter 7: "Why Hello, Llewellyn Duck"

Yay, I finished my first story: Misfit! (Obviously not counting any one-shots.)

"Stupid Dewey and his stupid theories!" Louie kicked a stone. He was standing next to a body of rushing water, or more specifically, a river. Many rocks surrounded the area.

"Stupid everyone!" He kicked another stone, watching as it skipped across the water. He smiled, "You know, this is actually kinda fun!" He threw another one, grinning.

It was nice to be away from his brothers for once. Sure, it was fun, but sometimes having two doubles of you just made double the trouble- or triple it.

The duckling smiled, watching the sky. He had never really been one for the outdoors, but he liked getting fresh air once in a while. He tilted his head, seeing if he could make any distinct shapes out of the clouds.

Just then, something snatched him from behind and he yelped, turning around the face…

"Wha-" Louie kicked and squirmed as the figure tied a bandana over his eyes and mouth, then tied a rope around him. They also put him in a large, black bag.

"Mmmmmmph!" Louie tried screaming, but the thick fabric of the bandana made that extremely difficult.

Of all the ways Louie had thought this day would go, getting kidnapped was not one that he had in mind.

He kicked around in the bag, whoever was carrying him had a crazy good grasp, and he could barely move. The kidnapper wrapped a freakishly huge hand around his torso, holding Louie like a burrito. Louie squirmed, now more uncomfortable than he even was before.

The duckling paused, listening to the sounds of leaves crunching.

There were three distinct footfalls: Heavy, medium, and light.

So three people were in on this. Not just one.

Something creaked open and then a slam was heard, probably the sound of a door.

"Uhhhhhhh, was this where he wanted to drop him off?" The first voice asked.

"You moron! Of course this is the correct address! Do I have to do everything myself?!" The second one replied.

"Hey, I'm carrying him!" Voice 1 retorted. Louie felt himself being raised in the air, and he presumed that the person carrying him must be going up stairs.

The third voice just grunted, "Mmmmmmmm?"

"What do you mean you don't know if this is the correct location or not? Why do you dingbats never pay attention?" Voice 1 hissed.

"Look who's talking." Voice 2 rumbled.

Voice 3 interjected, "Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr? Rrrrrrrrrrr!"

"Burger's right, if this is the correct location, where's the rich kid?"

Bouncer? Burger? Big Time? RICH KID?! Louie thought, scared.

"Right here." A new voice spoke, and Louie didn't have to guess twice who it was.

"Hand him to me. Thank you. You will receive your payment later for delivering him to me."

Louie gulped.

"See guys? Ma's gonna be so proud! We actually-"

"Now go before my parents, or Boyd, sees you!" He hissed.

The sounds of floorboards creaking were heard.

"Time for my friend present." The voice giggled with cruel glee, and he took Louie out of the bag and untied the bandana on his head.

"Doofus Drake!"

Louie noticed that he was standing in Doofus's room. A dark blue bed was in the right corner of the room, and the wallpaper was also blue, matching the theme. A fancy ottoman was in the corner, along with several model airplanes and whatnot cluttering the room.

"That's my name. Don't wear it out." Doofus's grin widened, and he settled his piercing gaze on Louie, "Why hello, Llewellyn Duck. What brings you here?" He sneered.

Louie trembled, "You."

"As you probably remember, I haven't given you your lesson in friendship yet." He smirked, and Louie recoiled in horror.

This was his nightmare.

I actually wanted to make a Doofus and Louie horror fic but just never had the time. So instead give you this, lol. Don't worry this is rated K so I can't go full-out murder like I sometimes do, lol. I really wanted to make an innocent story where there's no blood and gore…let's see just how long I last. I'm trying, okay?! (This is what happens when you read way too many Fablehaven, Dragonwatch, Hello Neighbor, and Warriors books. Omg Help. XD)
