Chapter 1
Perseus's p.o.v
We had just won the war with Kronos, we had chopped the bastard into many pieces and scattered him across the earth and Tartarus. We were now assembled at where we were going to make our new home and we would receive our domains. When we got there we sat on our makeshift thrones and called the fates to give us our domains, we were very excited. When they arrived we all bowed to them as a sign of respect but I did not bow to them like my siblings, everyone was shocked at my bluntant misbehavior to the fates. The fates themselves looked at me then smiled at me and continued to give us our domains. They started with Zeus who was made the god of the sky, thunder, lightning, order, justice and king of the gods then he made Metis his wife and queen of the gods. Hera was made the goddess of marriage, family, womanhood and the she was followed by Hades who was made the god of the underworld, the dead and riches, Poseidon was made the king of the seas, earthquakes, storms and horses then Demeter was made the goddess of agriculture, grains, seasons and plants, she was followed by Hestia who was made the goddess of the hearth, home, architecture and peace. When it was finally my turn they looked at me expectantly and said 'well, what you waiting for" they just said it was not yet my time to receive my domains because my domains were very strong and that I needed to train my body, mind and soul because for my domains would make me the strongest god of all existence. When they said that I could see Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were jealous that I would be the strongest. When the fates left thrones rose from the ground the first two were for the king and queen and the rest was for the rest of the olympians. When Zeus and Metis sat at the head of the olympians i could see Hera was jealous that Metis was crowned the queen and not her. Demetre was just staring at me as if i was a piece of grain. It was just creepy the what she was staring at me, when the meeting was over she followed me and i had to wait and see what she wanted. Perseus i wanted to ask your hand in marriage. to say i was shocked would be understatement, so i did not to marry at this young age even though we were gods i was not ready for marriage and i had to let her down easily. But she took it to the heart and yelled at me and stormed off to gods know where. Little did i know that would have been a deciding factor of my life.
