Chapter 2; Going for vacation to Tartarus

On Olympus

The Olympians had gathered at midnight to discuss something very important, but not all the Olympians were not there because Perseus and Metis were not there. Zeus began the meeting by saying 'Perseus is going to be stronger than all of us together and he is also friends with a lot of the Titans and can overthrow us, so we need to take care of him before he becomes a threat."

The other Olympians like Poseidon and Hades did not like Perseus because of their jealousy and some like Demeter wanted to get their revenge on him for her earlier humiliation as she called it. Finally Hera spoke up and said 'and why would we do that?" Zeus finally realizing that not everyone was on his side decide to use his brain and told Hera that if she were to go on with his plan then he would marry her and make her the queen of Olympus something she could not refuse.

Hera seeing this as opportunity to finally take her rightful place on Olympus agreed to it and finally there was only one person who was on their way to banish Perseus was Hestia and Zeus already had a plan for her. He looked at Hestia and said, 'sister it is us or him and it is not like we are going to kill him, and we are just banishing him from Olympus."

Hestia seeing that it was either losing most of her family or one of them agreed to the siblings. What none of the females did not know was that the three brothers had already decided that they would throw their brother to Tartarus where only the worst beings were kept so that he could never return and challenge them for their thrones. Finally after they had agreed to banish Perseus they went to their humble abodes and rested for the night.

when the meeting had ended, Hera dragged Zeus to side and asked him how he was going to deal with Metis and told her he was just going to eat her and he would later tell everyone that there was a prophecy regarding his and Metis's children saying that if they had any male child he would overthrow Zeus and since Metis was pregnant everyone would believe him. At first Hera was disgusted that he would such a thing to his wife but her desire to be queen of Olympus allowed her to agree with him.

That night when Zeus reached his sleeping chambers he had tricked Metis into becoming a fly and had swallowed her fully without even a little remorse for his wife. That night was when Zeus became an arrogant king throughout history.

The following morning Zeus called a council of utmost emergency and when everyone was assembled, Perseus asked where Metis was said that she was sick because she was pregnant. Everyone understood that she would need her rest and continued with meeting after talking about what they should do with the remaining Titans. Most the council said they should be imprisoned while others refused, the meeting was going well until suddenly Perseus found himself bounded by chains and since he did not have any domains he could not get out of his bounds. When he looked around he saw his siblings looking at him with no intention to help him. Finally he looked at them in the eye and said 'what is the meaning of this?" Zeus finally said, 'Perseus you are a threat to our rule and we must get rid of you to safeguard our rule and we as the council of the Olympians have decided to banish you from Olympus last night."

I looked around thinking this was a sick joke or something but all of them had a serious look on their faces. I could believe my brothers were jealous of me being more powerful than them but I did not think that it would come down to this because for chaos sake I did not even have a domain. But what shocked me the most was that Hestia the goddess of family was supporting this idea, it was as if I was not her family or anything. Zeus then said, 'that was the official plan but now we are going to banish you from Olympus and banish you to Tartarus so that you do not disrupt and corrupt the mortals against us.'

To say I was shocked was an understatement of the highest order, my own family would banish me to Tartarus a place where no one knows the extent of not even the titans know the cruelty of Tartarus. Apparently I was not the only one who was shocked by the turns of the events, because Hestia, Demeter and Hera started shouting that that was not the plan but Zeus silenced them and then the three traitorous brothers and step forward their palms facing towards me said, 'we the Olympians banish you Perseus son of Kronos and Rhea to Tartarus form now till the end of your days and may rot there."

The floor of the throne room then cracked and then broke forming a pi that looked endless to the eye from the ground we were standing on. I looked at the pit and understood that my fate was sealed by my own siblings, so I did the only thing a sane person would do, I stood up and laughed and said, 'dear siblings I will not die in that pit like you would want me to, I will thrive and conquer it like no one before me and one day when you come running for my help you will rue this day." And then I jumped straight into the pit of eternal punishment and fell to my doom or my rise to glory.

On Olympus

To say the Olympians were shocked by the turnout of the events would be an understatement for they all expected for Perseus to beg for mercy or swear his undying loyalties to Zeus not to jump head first into the pit of Tartarus. The chilling silence was broken by silent sobs of the Olympian goddess's who turned and glared at their brothers and said,' you said we were only banishing him from Olympus you liars." We did what had to be done for the good of our rule and there is no changing our decision because it is final.

In Tartarus

To say Perseus was bored would be an understatement because he was falling for so long and he was kind of getting bored and wanted some action to come to him because he was going to home of all monsters in Greek Mythology and some forgotten beings before the time of the gods and titans during the era of the Primordials.

When Perseus finally reached he land in a mass of sharp objects and when he looked around he saw that he landed in shattered glass. He stood up and had a good look around him and found that he was in a barren land full of glass and large boulders in which a figure was sitting on, wait what a figure, maybe he can help me to get out. I approached the figure carefully because he did not know who this figure was.

When he reached the figure, the figure slowly turned around and he saw a man with eyes of molten magma and the body of a warrior with skills and wisdom of unraveled quality and he had this destructive aura around him. 'who are you?" I asked him. He remained silent for a few seconds and then answered me, 'I am Parses the Titan of Destruction."
