Better Together Chapter 11: "Raiders Of The Iron Vulture Part 2"

I'm updating Nobody Listens and Hurt By Words today. Enjoy!
I posted my first story on FictionPress called The Destined, under the Fantasy category, but literally only 2 people read it. I'm not even joking. So that's just GREAT. :( T-T
Also, (me and my ridiculously long A/Ns!) I posted some new art yesterday on puppydogs68 .com. Huebbyfan pointed out that I didn't have any artwork of May and April, so I did some! ^v^
The Sunchaser/Cloudslayer was in flight.
"Oh come on! How come the Sky Pirates haven't found the plane yet?!" Louie hissed. He was sitting next to June in the passengers' seat, with Launchpad in the pilot's.
"Hey, are you sure Mr. McD wanted to take the Cloudslayer out got a test flight?" Launchpad asked.
"Yes." June replied simply.
"I dunno, he never told me about it…" Launchpad scratched his head. He yelped when the plane almost crashed and quickly grabbed the wheel again, "Whoo. That was close!"
June turned to Louie, "Is this guy seriously your pilot?!"
Louie shrugged, "yeah. He's cool, but sometimes a bit, um…" Louie searched for the right words.
"Dumb?" June deadpanned.
"Clumsy." Louie corrected.
"Well this is three seconds of my life I'll never get back." June groaned.
Louie looked out the window, "Look, it's Don Karnage's pirate ship/plane, the Iron Vulture!" He motioned to June.
"Yeah, let's go raid the Iron Vulture!" She yelled.
- The Iron Vulture, Time Skip-
Louie and June were inside the Iron Vulture, crouching down under a wooden bench.
"Okay, where would I keep my money if I was a bloodthirsty and greedy pirate?" June put a hand to her chin and snapped, "In a chest!"
"Gee, isn't that obvious?!" Louie motioned in front of them, where a few pirates were sharpening weapons. Chests of treasure were surrounding the area.
"Okay, we'll just grab some without them noticing." June grinned.
"Are you nuts?! There's like a bunch in the room!"
"Or with them noticing."
"What?!" Louie hissed.
"Watch me." June smirked, grabbing a small, black pirate hat with a yellow bandana tied onto it. It had a white skull on it. She slyly slipped out from underneath the bench.
"Hey fellas! First mate….uh….First Mate reporting for duty...!"
"First mate First Mate?" The rat pirate Ugly Mug questioned, "Uhhhhh….I don't remember there being a first mate First Mate." He turned to Peg Leg Meg, "You?"
She shook her head no.
June laughed nervously, "I'm new around here! Don Karnage must not have told you because…uh…because …he wanted it to…be…a surprise?"
Louie came out from underneath the bench too, wearing a fake mustache on his beak and his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
"Greetings! It is I, Captain Lost; Don Karnage's long lost…twin brother! I was just escorting…uh…her" He jabbed a finger at June, "…to…some…place." Louie sputtered out.
"Don Karnage never told us about a twin brother." Hardtack Hattie growled, "Hey, don't you look like that blue duck's brother? The one who scammed Don Karnage?"
Sounds of agreement went around the crowd the Sky Pirates.
Louie and June gave each other frightened glances.
- Time Skip-
"Ohhhhh, this was a terrible idea!" Louie whined, the crew of pirates cornering them to a grey wall.
"Listen, you've got the wrong duck." Louie laughed nervously. June shifted beside him.
Don Karnage curled his lip, "Aye, it was YOU to whom I lost my fortune to! Luckily I was able to get it back by stealing." He chuckled, but then became angry again, "But still! AND you're trying to steal treasure…AGAIN!" He pulled out his sword, pushing his way through the crowd of pirates.
Louie gulped.
"Hyah!" June kicked the wolf captain, sending him reeling back in pain. The other pirates stood fazed for a second, until Don Karnage yelled, "GET THEM!"
And then they died. Welp, that's the end, folks. Good day, bye bye! :D
Hahaha no. This is where the adventure part comes in…
