A/N: I have been getting some feedback that Sly is out of character. I did this on purpose. I am going to see how well I do with pulling what I want to pull off. I hope you are enjoying this story. Remember to leave a review and follow!

"D…Daniel?"

Time for a moment seemed to have stopped for Sly. There Daniel was, his long-lost brother, right in front of him.

"Yes, baby brother, it's me." Daniel wrapped his arms around Sly and hugged him as hard as he could again. This time, Sly hugged back. "You have no idea how much I missed you!"

Skylar smiled nervously, hoping that Daniel was too distracted to continue to be upset with her. Bentley rolled over to Skylar and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Daniel isn't really mad you know, he was just worried, you know he deeply cares about you and Rascal."

She turned over to Bentley. "Yeah, I know he does. I love him too. He's my only uncle I got."

Bentley smiled in response and rolled over to Sly and Daniel. "Sly! I'm so happy you're alive!"

Sly recognized Bentley but wasn't sure how to respond to the eager turtle. All that he could manage to say was "my name is Silvester."

Bentley raised an invisible eyebrow. "Well, yes of course that's your real name but when did you start wanting to be called that?"

Slytunkhamen stood awkwardly into a corner, watching Bentley try to interact with Sly. "Because Coopers are only called by their real names, not nicknames." He blurted.

"Yes." Sly responded. "I'm Silvester Cooper. That's how I was born, and I will take pride in that. Slytunkhamen has trained me in the ancient Cooper ways and I've learned and gained so much. This is where I belong."

"You can't be serious Sly!" Bentley smashed his head on his hand. "…I mean Silvester. You belong back in Paris, you know, with your friends."

Sly crossed his arms. "I'm dead serious. I'm not leaving here."

Penelope emerged from the entrance way and observed Sly. She looked all around at him noticing his clothing. She noticed the large headdress that sat upon his head, and figured he was viewed as an important asset to the Egyptians. "Silvester is treated like royalty here!" She interrupted.

Sly smiled and cupped his hands around his headdress. "Only the finest thief ever to live in Egypt. With Slytunkhamen and I working together, we are able to achieve accomplishments that are worthy of your finest treasures."

Daniel's eyes grew wide. "But…Silvester…we need you to come home. Please."

The familiar lion entered the room as if he just appeared out of nowhere. This time, some small bird-like wigs were attached to his back, the same wings that were present with Carmelita's murder. "He's not going anywhere. He works for me." Lucifer reached for a remote out of his black coat pocket and pressed a blue button, making Sly and Slytunkhamen fall straight to the floor with a loud thud, landing on their bellies. Their eyes were completely shut, and their bodies looked just as if they had dropped completely dead. "Oh, to be specific, they work for Clockwerk." He looked over to Daniel and smiled. "I'm sure you know that name all too well, don't you Daniel? Just like your stupid brother." Lucifer grabbed a stick from the ground and poked Sly with it. "I can make Sly and his little friend do whatever I want them to do."

"So, tell us your plan." Penelope sarcastically stated. "All villains tell us their plans; you might as well do that."

Lucifer laughed. "Do you think I'm stupid? Maybe if Daniel and his stupid kids were the only ones here, I'd think about it, but you and Bentley are here! I'd for sure dig myself in a deep hole if I were to blab my plan to anyone."

Rascal leaned up against the wall. "You know I've always wondered that. Why do villains have to tell the heroes about their plans?"

"Who says I'm not the hero?" Lucifer laughed once more. "You morons will thank me later for this. But for now, I have some much-needed work to do…"

Lucifer grabbed Sly and Slytunkhamen by their headdresses and pulled them to another door on the other side of the palace. The gang watched helplessly as Sly and his ancestor was being pulled away to the other side.

After Lucifer closed the other door, Bentley sighed. "That's another ancestor. The one who began the Thevious Racconnus."

"Slytunkhamen II." Racal added. "His father built the Cooper vault, the one Dr. M tried to open."

Bentley looked over at Rascal with amazement. "How did you know that?"

Rascal smiled. "Well, Bentley, I love to learn a lot about my heritage. My mom never really knew much about the Coopers, or at least she didn't tell us much."

"I'm glad Cooper was alive to begin with." Penelope smiled as she said this, walking over towards Bentley.

"Yeah, me too." Bentley sighed.

5 years earlier…

"Look at Skylar in those dorky pink shoes and that stupid pink dress. What are you like 5?"

Skylar dreaded school dearly, but her mother made her go daily so she can be "a productive member of society." Skylar never really was able to defend herself in school. She was always getting picked on and beaten up, especially by the other girls.

She and Rascal attended a large elementary school with a large student body. Each classroom was double sized, and each student had two teachers total. Skylar and Rascal didn't share a teacher, but they did share a lunch together. Skylar was outside during recess on a summer afternoon, just walking in circles as she always did, trying to think about what to do. She normally did this, as she didn't really have anything better to do.

A young boy tiger approached her, wearing a red baseball cap, a white t-shirt, and some jeans. He smiled and grabbed her hand. Skylar was confused what was going on, but she appreciated the attention, especially from this child. This child was Colton, someone who she actually liked a little bit, but never really expressed her emotions. "Skylar, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend." He smiled.

Skylar was blushing heavily when he asked this. What was a boyfriend anyway? She didn't know, but she didn't really care either. "Of course!" She cheered.

Just as she said this, a group of boys behind her started laughing heavily. "Next time you'll choose paper Colton, won't you!"

Skylar blushed in embarrassment. She knew all too well what this was about. It was a stupid game called Oreo. The object of the game is to play rock, paper, scissors, and the winner gets to choose someone the loser has to ask out.

"This is just that stupid game!" Skylar stomped her feet in anger towards Colton.

"Did you think I actually want to go out with you?" Colton laughed.

"You're the ultimate carrier for cooties!" One of the boys shouted.

"You're disgusting." Colton cringed. "Oh, and by the way, maybe stop wearing those dorky dresses. You're in 3rd grade now, maybe stop having your mom pick out your clothes."

Rascal noticed the commotion and decided to investigate, holding his red kickball he had been playing with in his left arm. "What is going on here?"

One of the boys started mocking Skylar. "Oh, that's cute. Your brother came to rescue you again?"

"Leave her alone, Dillan." Rascal snapped.

"Why? Because she's your 'little sister?' This little bitch needs to learn her place here."

"Dillan…" Rascal's face started to glow red from anger.

"Oh, now you're getting angry now? This is hilarious. I mean this is really…"

Skylar interrupted his sentence and gave him a giant kick to the stomach. The other boys stood in shock for a little while, and then decided to chase the poor raccoon around that small playground. Skylar jumped on the wooden swing set and dangled from the bar holding the swings in place. The boys just missed her by a hair, and as a result they received a giant kick to the face from her dangling feet. She let go of the bar and delivered a final punch to Colton's face, giving him a bloody nose.

The boys all just stood around, leaning over in pain from Skylar's fighting. A teacher rushed over to the group and immediately grabbed Skylar by her dress color and dragged her inside. All Rascal could do was just watch her get dragged away.

Skylar received a suspension that day, but after this incident she felt invincible, like as if she could get away with anything. She felt this power rush inside of her, the power of swiftness and agility.

"No video games for a week, Skylar!" Carmelita came to pick up Skylar from school due to her new suspension, unaware what actually happened on that playground. As soon as they got home, Carmelita removed the PlayStation and locked it into her room. "I'll be back. I need to pick up your brother. Do NOT get up from this couch until I get back." She demanded.

As soon as Carmelita closed the door, Skylar only itched to get off of that couch, eager to get her video game back. She looked over at the door and noticed a small keylock in the doorknob. She looked around nervously and decided to get up from that couch to see what she could do with that lock. She looked inside of it and figured she could use one of her barrettes in her hair to pick it. Once she picked it, she saw the PlayStation sitting on her mother's bed totally unguarded and within her reach. Skylar grabbed it and managed to sneak it out of the bedroom. From that day, Skylar felt the Cooper blood start to rush through her body like rushing water. She was now for sure invincible.
