Footsteps were echoing down the hallway of the Egyptian Palace as Bentley pleaded with Sly to come home. Sly didn't react to the footsteps, as if he was used to it.

"Do you hear footsteps?" Daniel perked up at the sounds and wiggled his ear.

"Maybe we should leave." Nathan suggested. "I think the Egyptians really like to kill."

Sly sighed. "It's nobody. It's just Lucifer."

Lucifer peeked his head through the door and noticed everyone sitting beside Sly. "What is this?" He said in disbelief.

Sly felt a sudden jolt of anger and irritation burst through his body. He felt as if the memories of his friends started to fade away quickly. He felt like killing everyone in the room honestly, even though he doesn't have a mean bone inside of him.

Skylar noticed his eyes began to turn red. She quickly flipped her head over and noticed Lucifer was holding a strange round device in his left hand. It was small, and glowing red. She couldn't really make out the color of the object, but it had a bird symbol engraved into it.

"He's hypnotizing Sly!" She accused.

Lucifer dropped the device suddenly. "What? That's ridiculous." He reassured her.

Bentley eyed the device and Lucifer bolted away, as if he was never there. "Well that was a little weird." He stated. He wheeled over to the device and picked it up. He looked over at Sly, still appearing irritated and angry at something. The device was light, but dense as a rock. It was gray and had a red glow around it. It was quite small, no bigger than a tennis ball. Bentley couldn't quite make out what exactly the device was, but whatever it was it seemed to have affected Sly greatly.

"What is it, Bentley?" Penelope peered over to take a look at the device Bentley was holding.

Still untrusting, Bentley pulled away the device from her and continued examining it. "It appears to be a device to control minds." He suggested. He quickly shook it, somehow turning the device off. The device quickly turned into a fancy rock with a bird logo carved in it. Sly snapped out of his irritation and came back to reality fairly quickly.

"What the…what happened?" He groaned.

"Yes! This IS a mind control device!" Bentley cheered.

"Mind control device?" Sly questioned.

"That bird logo…" Daniel peered over Bentley's shoulder and stared at the bird logo for a while, contemplating the scary image he was seeing. "That's Clockwerk's logo, Bentley."

Bentley noticed the bird logo but chose not to mention anything about it. "Surely Clockwerk isn't behind this…" He paused. "I mean we destroyed the hate chip…or well Sly destroyed the hate chip."

"Well that doesn't mean that he's completely dead." Lucifer emerged back into the room with a big smile on his face. "Oh, would you look at that. Silly me, I forgot my device." Lucifer snatched the device from Bentley's hands. "You guys really are super smart as a team. You figured out that Clockwerk isn't dead! That's wonderful!"

"Why did you run away?" Daniel questioned rather angrily.

"Oh, I just wanted to see if my little genius turtle friend could figure out my plan. I don't really care if he does. I don't personally have it out for Sly. Clockwerk is the one paying me the big bucks for his capture." He quickly shook the device, turning it back on and sending Sly back into his hypnotic state. "This little raccoon just has the easiest mind to manipulate. After a while, I convinced him that his name was Silvester and that him and Slytunkhamen were rulers of this kingdom. It's rather quite funny."

"Why are you telling us your plan?" Nathan crossed his arms. "Now we know how…"

Before Nathan could finish his sentence, Lucifer pulled out another device and he quickly fell onto the floor face first. Instead of being in a hypnotic state, he was completely passed out.

Lucifer pulled out five other devices, activating all of them. Everyone in the room stated to feel irritated and angry at everything. Lucifer started to laugh. "Come everyone…it's time to meet Clockwerk. Maybe he might spare you guys…but probably not."
