Chapter 2: The New Life of a King
After Gojira had become an official resident of Anima-City both Michiru and Nazuna had chosen to show the King of the Monsters around the city. The two girls had shown Gojira all the places they have been to throughout their adventures in Anima-City from Rabbit town to where Gojira had gotten into a little falling out with one of the females in rabbit town but the fight was avoided thanks to Michiru pulling the King of the Monsters away from the fight. Then the two girls had shown Godzilla the other places they have been including the slums, the baseball stadium, Flips place which Nina Flip greeted them and so did the mob boss himself but was kind of shady about Gojira seems he was almost as tall as Flip. But the next place they went was the old camp grounds of the Church of the Silver Wolf which brought up some guilty emotions in Nazuna until Godzilla spoke up.
"Hey what's got you so down now don't tell me this place gives you some bad memories if so we can leave and you can show me somewhere else?" Gojira said seeing how uncomfortable Nazuna was looking while being here.
"N-No its fine its just when i first came to Anima-City i was the leader of the Church of the Silver Wolf and after the Nirvazyl incident i feel bad about how i was brought into this and how i was tricked" she then squeezed Gojira's hand abit tightly but it did not hurt the King of the Monsters but he knew she was feeling remorseful for her actions.
"Well let's head onto some other location, know an good places to eat im starving, who knew having a human body would give such a problem i've never been hungry before" with him saying that his stomach began to growl as he covered it causing the mood to lighten and making Michiru and Nazuna start giggling.
After the two girls were done giggling at The King of The monsters they traveled back into the city and went to a Dogway to order some food and much to everyone in the shops surprise Gojira ordered one of every item on the menu in which Nazuna had payed for it all and when the food was ready Gojira carried the roughly 100 pounds of food in a box that the employees put all the food in and started walking home with it as Michiru piped up saying.
"Did you really need to order that much food from that place? It seems like alot for just one person to eat?" shrugging her shoulders while saying that while Gojira looked down at Michiru and chuckled.
"You must have clearly not been listening to what i said back at City Hall my body is like a nuclear reactor so i need a lot of fuel to keep it going back where i came from my body would feed off radiation but now i'm a Beastman i have to eat normal food in order to keep my body going, that's why i have a lot of food and sorry about the amount it cost."
Nazuna just giggled and told Gojira not to worry until they walked passed a dark alley as a pair of eyes looked at the trio and walked up to them this man was a Salamander Beastmen and when he got close to the trio he first tried to pick Gojira's pockets but was met with a Size 13 boot to the face from Gojira which caused the Salamander Beastmen to change into his beast form and start acting aggressive towards Gojira who was unphased by this.
"What's the big idea pal kicking me in the face like that don't you know who i am, I could have you killed for kicking me like that you big brute" as the Salamander was yelling at Gojira he had pulled a gun out on the King of the Monsters but Gojira was still not phased as Nazuna and Michiru were hiding behind him. "That's right your two girly friends are scared as they should be so you better cough up some cash right now buddy or else Shady Slim is going to blow your brains out!" What Gojira did next shocked both Shady Slim and the girls as he grabbed the gun and Crushed it with his Bare Hands scaring off Shady Slim.
"I don't think he will bother us anymore not with what I just did to his weapon" Gojira had picked up his food that he set down and the Girls had a chance to calm down before all three started walking back to Nazuna's place. "are either of you hurt or do either of you need to stop or rest?" Gojira had asked Nazuna and Michiru both shaking their heads no to Gojira's questions "Good now let's get home i want to try this food see if it is what humans crack it up to be, Not to mention i'm starving because this body doesn't feed off of the thermal nuclear radiation from the earth like my old body did" he said while the three continued walking.
After a long walk back home Michiru had to go back to home for the day while Gojira and Nazuna walked inside their home but Gojira had to take a moment to look around Nazuna's home so that he could get familiar with his new living space. Gojira did not really agree with Nazuna's color choice but he did not complain because if he did he knew it would hurt Nazuna's feelings. After Gojira finished exploring the place he had sat down in the dining room to eat all the food he got and since it was close to Lunchtime Nazuna got something to eat as well but she could not take her eyes off Gojira and the way he ate at first for he was taking massive bites of food and eating it. As Nazuna was eating she couldn't help but watch as Gojira ate his food which while he ate his back had a dim blue glow so it was a good sign and Gojira knew this as well before Nazuna broke the silence.
"Um Gojira, your back is glowing, why does it do that?" Nazuna asked Gojira tilting her head just a bit and Gojira did a few hand gestures meaning 'i'll tell you later' to which she nodded and continued "I am going to lay down some ground rules for you staying here and i'll tell you know because i've been thinking about them the whole way home" she then pulled out a piece of paper which confused Gojira causing him to wonder where she kept that. "Alright Rule number 1 is no leaving trash around the house and always clean up your own messes, Rule number 2 is no going into My Room unless i give you permission to do so, And the most important rule number 3 is no shedding around the house and i say this because your a reptilian and amphibian i think you would shed your scales or skin that's why i put the rule in place, if you have any questions i'll wait till your done eating" the whole time she was telling him the rules he was nodding abit as he was agreeing to what she was saying and not to long after he finished his food and cleaned his mess.
"I understand the rules and will do my best to learn from them but i dont shed my skin so Rule number three makes no sense to me, and to answer your question my back glowing blue that was the food when i ate it my body broke it down and turned it into energy and good thing to because the food was pretty good beats radiation especially if you have been feeding on it for as long as i have" he said while he threw away the trash and cleaned whatever dishes he had used while eating showing Nazuna that he can be well behaved when he wants to be "but there is one thing i must warn you about with me and it's my own radiation, this body doesn't give off radiation like my old one but i just want you to be careful alright?" Nazuna nodded and blushed a bit seeing a Soft side to the once King of The Monsters and from what he told her before he did not have much of a soft side. "And from what i've been told by the mayor, this Alan Solvasta guy seemed like a bad person, a good thing he was taken care of." After Gojira was done he went and sat down on the couch in the living room and Nazuna was not far behind sitting beside him and to Gojira's surprise she had cuddled up to him which did not bother Gojira at all.
The rest of the day was relatively quiet as Nazuna was just letting Gojira know about her being Anima-City's biggest idol after the Nirvasyl Syndrome incident had taken place which caused the King of the Monsters to talk about how he had gotten a lot of attention where he had come from but he said it wasn't the good kind of attention as Gojira told Nazuna about the times he was fired upon by military and attacked by other Titans throughout his long life. After a while of talking Nazuna would get up and start getting Gojira's room set up even though it wasn't much at first Gojira knew that he will be able to change it later on when he feels like it needs an update which made Nazuna happy that he liked the room and it was perfect Size for the King of the Monsters turned Beastman and when Gojira got settled in he spoke with Nazuna again.
"I wanted to thank you for letting me live here with you Nazuna. Most others I have come across in my life have not been even remotely close to being as kind as you are." The Kaiju's kind words made Nazuna blush a bright red almost pink color as she nodded to Gojira "maybe tomorrow i can show you, Michiru and Ogami some of the things i can do in Beast form because i'm curious to see what the 3 of you can do as well." Gojira had smiled while saying that showing his teeth and his snaggletooth but the King was thinking in his head 'this new body of mine has changed my demeanor so much maybe it's the age of this body and what the humans call hormones?' while scratching his chin but he shrugged as he and Nazuna went to their rooms each saying good night to each other and both have gone to bed.
"I am learning so much about him but i don't know why i feel drawn towards him, Maybe i feel bad for him because of all the pain he went through in his life?" Nazuna said while getting ready for bed when a sudden surprise visit from Michiru startled her but after the two talked about it then Nazuna told Michiru about how she was starting to feel towards the King of the Monsters but Michiru was a bit surprised but found it kind of cute her friend was getting a crush on the new guy which in turn caused Nazuna to try and defend herself with her face turning red, but what they did not know is that Godzilla with his heightened hearing could hear the two talking in the other room but pretend not to hear it and went to sleep. About an hour after Michiru arrived she had decided to have a sleepover with Nazuna which Nazuna agreed to after she had calmed down and her face was normal again and not to long after the two friends ended up falling asleep as well, and from the rooftop across the street Ogami was watching to keep a close eye on them leaving after he knew the girls were asleep.
"It seems Gojira is adjusting nicely to the life in Anima-City and it seems Nazuna is taking a liking to him as well, Who knows Nazuna might tame this Beast." Ogami had told the Mayor which got a nod her. "i over heard Gojira say he had Radiation in his body it makes me unsure of keeping him inside the city for that purpose and it makes me unsure if moving him in with Nazuna was good either with that kind of danger looming about." The mayor calmed Ogami down reassuring him that Gojira was alright inside the city because if the Radiation was a problem they would have seen signs of it right away but they havent which gave Ogami a peace of mind "i guess your right about that one Mayor but i also over heard him saying he wants to show us his abilities as well as Nazuna, Michiru and myself show ours to him do you think that is a good idea?" the Mayor nodded to show Ogami it was a good idea "right the more we know about his abilities the better because it makes me nervous with some one like him running around and me not knowing what he is capable of." After his meeting with the mayor Ogami went home to rest up and sleep with the information he has now and is ready for tomorrow when Gojira will show off his abilities to himself, Michiru and Nazuna "I hope your right Mayor" and with that he went to sleep.
