Maka woke up still in Kids bed and stretched her body. She winced at some soreness in her hips but was able to stand up. She took off the shirt and looked in Kids mirror. She had a total of 8 hickies in symmetrical places on her.
Other than that she didnt look any different, but she felt different. She felt happy and at peace. Her eyes shined in a way they never have before. The door opened and Kid walked in dressed in a pair of pants and a shirt.
"Hey gorgeous, breakfast is ready. Liz and Patty are here so you might want to get dressed," he said as he kissed her cheek.
"Alright if I really have to," she sighed out in fake annoyance.
Kid laughed as he exited the room. Maka put on her cloths and went down to the dinning room where she saw Liz and Patty sitting at the table eating.
"So are you all good now?" Asked Liz.
"Yup," said Maka as she sat down across from the sisters. She thanked Kid as he set down her food for her.
"Good! You know what we should do here soon? Group shopping trip!" Said Liz.
"That sounds fun, im game," said Maka.
"Same," said Kid.
"YAY! Can we go to the candy store!?" Said Patty.
"Maybe," said Liz. "We will let everyone know and plan a best day for us"
After breakfast Kid took Maka back to her apartment. He dropped her off at the steps and gave her a kiss.
"See you soon. Oh by the way, do you mind if we go see my father tomorrow at school? I have to properly introduce you to him."
"No problem Kid, ill see you tomorrow" said Maka as she went inside.
Soul popped his head out of his room and nodded at her in greeting before disappearing again. Maka went into her room and saw Blair in her cat form sitting on her bed.
"Whoa Maka, nice neck. I take it you had fun last night?" She said.
"Oh shut up Blair," said Maka blushing. "I did. I had a lot of fun."
"Tell me all about it kitten," said Blair changing into human form.
Maka smiled and began talking to Blair.

The next day Maka rode with Soul to school. He seemed to be doing well, he isnt ignoring her or anything. He actually seems like he was before which was a relief. Maybe Maka could help him be with someone? But she didnt know anyone. Maybe Liz?
She shook the thoughts as they arrived at school and they climbed the steps together. They were early so Maka could meet with Kid and go see his father. Kid was waiting at the steps and smiled at the 2 of them. He and Maka went to his father, while Soul and the sisters went to class.
Kid knocked 8 times on the door and then opened it and went inside with Maka behind him.
"Hello son! And Meister Maka! Wassup waaaassup?" Said his father.
"Hello father, I wanted to officially introduce Maka to you as my girlfriend," said Kid while holding Makas hand.
"Oh? You know what that means right?" Said his dad.
Maka looked at Kid curiously and he shook his head with a smile.
"Yes father."
"Alright cool cool! We will start your training tomorrow then! Daughter its nice to meet you," said Death.
"Eh? D-Daughter?" Said Maka.
"Of course. You are my sons partner. There for we are family. Now off to class you go kids!" Said Death as he shooed them away.
"What comes next?" Asked Maka as they walked to class.
"I begin training to be the new shinigami. I will also increase my missions to make Liz and Patty death scythes. Usually a partner is chosen after one becomes a full shinigami," said Kid.
"Can you tell me more about shinigami stuff? Or at least info that I am allowed to know?"
"Of course," said Kid. "But first we have to get to class."

After a week of class, the weekend came again and the group decided to go out shopping. Kid has been meeting with his father and going on missions to collect souls. He was almost ready, set at 90 souls for each weapon. Today was his first day off in a week.
Maka and him still saw eachother, he made sure to find her before school and kiss her hello, and at the end of the day he would take her home. Soul was fine with it. In fact he encouraged it. He was also more happier recently, which made Maka suspicious.
Finally though, it was time for a hangout. That morning Maka woke up and put on a different outfit today. She wore a purple skirt and a black short sleeved shirt. She also wore some sandals and did her hair in her signature pigtails. She met up with Soul who was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a red T-shirt with music notes on it.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yup, lets go" she replied.
They made it to the shopping district and saw the group hanging by the enterance. They went over and greeted everyone. They then went first to get food. They all chose there food places and found a table in the middle. Before they ate Liz started talking.
"Hey guys so, just figured id let you all know, I... no WE have an announcement to make?" She said trailing off.
"So not a cool way to do this, " said Soul.
Maka and Kid connected the dots first. Tsubaki followed after. Meanwhile Black*Star and Chrona were still confused. Patty looked indifferent. She prob already knew all along.
"YOUR DATING!?" Said the 3 who figured it out.
"WHAT!?" Said Black*Star and Chrona surprised.
"SURPRISE! KYA HA HA!" Said Patty laughing.
"Ugh uncool," said Soul with his hand over his face.
"Ugh embarrassing," said Liz blushing.
"When did-How?" Said Maka.
"Why didnt I know about this?" Said Kid.
"Congrates guys," said Tsubaki.
"S-So we are all dating someone in our group. Thats actually really nice. I couldnt handle any new people that well," said Chrona.
"Dont worry, if they tried anything id beat them up for you!" Said Patty holding her fork like a weapon.
"We actually just made it official yesterday. We have been hanging out and talking more this past week. Guess you guys were preoccupied to notice" said Liz shrugging.
"Wow, im really happy for you guys " said Maka while Kid nodded.
"Thanks, im glad to hear that from you," said Liz while Soul made a sound of agreement.
After they ate they started shopping. Everyone saved up their mission reward money the last couple weeks so they were able to get quite a bit. Liz got 3 new outfits, and 4 new packs of makeup and some nail polishes. Patty bought some stuffed animals and candy.
Chrona didnt know what to buy so he just mainly tagged along. Soul bought some music albums and new pants. Kid didnt want anything so he just tagged along. And finally Maka bought some new cloths and some books.
They were all sitting relaxing on some benches, when Liz gave a smile.
"Hey guys, lets play a game!" She said pulling out some pocky. "Ever heard of the pocky game?"
"I have," said Maka, Tsubaki, Patty, and Kid.
Soul, Black*Star, and Chrona shook there heads no.
"Well its played between couples or close friends. Each person has one end of the pocky in there mouths, and each takes a bite. Once in the middle you have to fight for the last piece. Or whoever pulls away first loses," explained Liz.
Everyone agreed to it and Liz started with putting a piece in her mouth and turning to Soul. Soul took the other end in his mouth. They both took bites until moments before there lips met, surprisingly Soul pulled away first.
"Losing isnt cool, but having our first kiss be becuase of a game in front of our friends would be more uncool," said Soul.
Liz blushed and smiled at him before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Alright Black*Star and Tsubaki your next!" Said Liz handing the pocky to Tsubaki.
Tsubaki and Black*Star took there positions and each moved closer until the middle. Then Black*Star cheated and swiped the rest of the stick and ate it. He was about to boast about his victory but Tsubaki had other plans. She grabbed his face and smashed their lips together kissing him passionately.
"PDA! PDA! PDA!" Everyone chanted which caused Tsubaki to blush and realease Black*Star who sat there dazed for a couple seconds before snapping out of it.
"I STILL WON OF COURSE! I AM A GOD AFTER ALL! HA HA HA HA!" He belowed out, but had a very noticable blush on his cheeks.
"Our turn!" Said Patty facing Chrona.
Chrona blushed slightly but took one end of the stick in his mouth. They shared a very sweet kiss in the middle and Patty swiped her tongue out and got the piece. She smiled victoriously and cheered. Chrona smiled as well and kissed her cheek congratulatory.
"They are so cute," whispered Maka to Kid.
"Agreed surprisingly," he whispered back. "Ready Maka?" He asked.
Maka smiled with determination and they each took one end of the stick. Once in the center they both fought with their tongues to get the middle piece. Kid won and pulled away with a boasting smile while Maka pouted. She then smiled as she leaned forward and whispered "You may have won now but I will get you later."
Kid flushed with excitement and smirked at her in a challenge accepted way. Everyone hung out awhile longer when Black*Star spoke.
"Hey dude Maka, isnt that your old man?" He said pointing in a shop.
Sure enough Spirit was in the store with Stein.
"Wow Stein shops? Who knew," said Kid.
"Could they be on a date?" Asked Tsubaki.
"*gasp* you mean real life boy love!?" Said Liz.
"Ew Stein could do much better than my no good papa," said Maka.
Spirit looked over and saw them all sitting there and said something to Stein. Stein turned around and looked uncomfortable, like he got caught doing something he didnt want people to know. Spirit came over and tried to hug Maka but she Maka-Chopped him before he could.
"Hey professor, what are you doing here?" She asked ignoring her father who was on the ground.
"Are you and death scythe on a date?" Asked Soul.
"Well I guess no use hiding it anymore. Yes we are," said Spirit.
"Can we just leave now?" Sighed Stein as he began pulling Spirit away despite his protests.
"Hey professor wait!" Said Maka making Stein stop.
"We support you two!" She said as everyone else nodded and gave then smiles.
Stein gave them a small smile of his own while Spirit beamed. They then left the kids to enjoy there date. The group hung around for another 10 minutes before they all split up. Liz and Soul decided to go to his and Maka's apartment to chill (maybe even do the first kiss stage). Patty and Chrona decided to go out on a proper date (despite Ragnoraks complaints). Black*Star and Tsubaki went home, and Kid and Maka went to Kids.
As soon as they got to his room Maka pushed him on the bed and straddled him while holding his hands down. "Told you I was going to win when we were alone." She said as Kid gasped as she gave him a kiss without easing her hold up. Kid could have turned the tables at anytime, but Maka taking control got him so hard and turned on. So he let her take control. And it was the best thing he ever did.
