Two weeks later after the visit…
Ethan was in the console room alone. He was in the chair, just sitting there with his eyes closed. He had a change of clothes. He had a men's black undershirt, ripped jeans, black socks, a knife holder and holster on his waist with nothing inside them. He had a pair of white earbuds in his ears that were plugged into an MP3 player clipped on his undershirt. Next to him were a survival knife and a Blackjack handgun from their last adventure.
He had a calm playlist and he was currently listening to "The Package" by A Perfect Circle, and the song next up was "Annihilation" by A Perfect Circle. He was breathing slowly and calmly. He had slowed his heart rate down to it almost-perfect beat. And…
"Allons-y!" The Doctor shouted as he ran into the room. Ethan yelped at the Doctor's sudden rush to enter. The Doctor had his usual clothes on and the same grin. He was dancing around the console, flipping switches and pushing levers. He noticed the glare Ethan was giving him.
"Oh, meditating again?" The Doctor asked.
"Yeah!" Ethan said, waving his arms around. "I'm trying to recover from our "vacation"!"
Apparently, after they had left Ninjago and taken Anthony back to Earth, the Doctor had proposed a vacation to Wildwood, New Jersey 2006, and Ethan accepted. They found out they had actually landed on a parallel Earth where 2020 was the time of the zombie apocalypse, where there was mutated zombies, different creatures, and Daleks. Ethan had a near-death experience at least 20 times.
"Well, this time I'll try to take us to Wildwood," The Doctor said, rolling his eyes as he flipped one last switch. Ethan quickly grabbed the survival knife just in case the Doctor overshoots the destination again. He also grabbed his Blackjack and holstered both.
The TARDIS shook violently, making the Doctor grip the console and Ethan grab the railing. They landed after a few minutes of shaking. The Doctor ran to the doors without his overcoat and Ethan trailing behind, MP3 still on him and Blackjack in his hands.
"Doctor, wait up!" Ethan called, letting himself smile a bit.
Danger, here we come, Ethan thought.
