Azula immediately had regrets. She should have never come. Zuko left to dance with Mai, the two of them actually smiling as the alcohol hit. Four boys from the swim team immediately swarmed Ty Lee and she was led away giggling. Azula sighed and filled her cup with vodka. If this was going to be an unproductive night, she might as well feel good doing it.

The party wore on with Azula rotating between refilling her drink and leaning against random furniture. She glared down the stares that came her way and rolled her eyes at a couple of freshman boys who were dumb enough to try to flirt with her.

After her third cup, Azula was feeling unbalanced and a little bit woozy. She grabbed her coat and made her way to the door. Maybe fresh air would help. She stumbled out the door and suddenly she was crashing into someone.

"Why the fuck are you standing where people are supposed to be walking," she took a step back and her gaze came in contact with piercing blue eyes.

Katara glared back at her, "You were the one who crashed into me. Your servants never taught you how to walk?"

Azula blinked and then gathered herself, "Do I know you?"

A laughter suddenly broke from Katara, "I never thought I would see the perfect princess so drunk."

Azula leaned against a chair to steady herself, "Perfect yes, but not inebriated." The apartment had a nice view of Republic City and she tried to focus on the lights blinking in the night.

Katara frowned but motioned for Azula to sit down, "Let me get you some water."

Azula shook her head, "I'll be fine," she waved away Katara's helping hands, "You seem to know a lot about me for someone I don't know." Azula paused, "Though I guess that's normal."

Katara raised an eyebrow at the lack of cruelty in her voice, "I'm Katara, your brother sometimes hangs out with us."

The city lights were looking less blurry and Azula could start to hear her thoughts again. "Ah, you swim."

Katara smirked, "Yes I do, how did you know?"

"Student government. Your team needed some funds for nationals and it caused me quite the headache to reallocate some resources."

Katara sighed, "Yeah, a lot of our girls are on scholarship," she hesitated, "including me."

Azula shrugged, "We found the funds. The university is rich enough to do so, they're just assholes when it comes to helping out students who actually need it."

She laughed at Katara's look of surprise, "I know what you must think of me. I'm a bitch, yes. And my dad's one of those assholes. But I have my own opinions."

Katara opened her mouth to respond but Azula waved her away and interrupted, "Anyways, you seem pretty sober to me, why are you out here?"

Azula smirked as she saw Katara's discomfort, "It's fine you don't have to tell me. I couldn't care less for this university's drama anyway."

A look of anger flashed in Katara's eyes but she saw Azula's amused look and just sighed, "Avoiding a friend I just turned down."

"I see."

An awkward silence filled between them. The night breeze was picking up and Katara shivered as the wind suddenly whipped through.

Azula eyed her and took off her jacket, "Here."

Katara rolled her eyes, "Don't."

"I insist." Azula shoved the jacket towards Katara, "I'm not cold anyways"

Katara groaned but gratefully wrapped the jacket around her. "This seems expensive, are you sure you trust a scholarship kid with it," she teased.

A smile flickered at Azula's lips. She was feeling better and was starting to notice how physically close she was to Katara. Slight gloss painted the girl's lips with natural makeup highlighting olive skin and soft, oval features. Katara was wearing a blue tank top that dipped a little lower than it was supposed to. Azula felt heat rising to her cheeks and she quickly turned her gaze towards the skyscrapers.

"You okay?" Katara reached over and touched Azula's arm.

The touch made Azula flinch and she pulled away, "Fine."

"Oh okay."

A few minutes of silence passed again as they watched the city lights.

Katara got up slowly, taking off the jacket. Azula stood up to meet her.

"Well thanks for the jacket."

Their hands lightly brushed against each other as Azula accepted the return. A warm feeling was fluttering through her. Was it the alcohol? She blinked and suddenly Katara was kissing her.

The jacket dropped to the ground, so much for being expensive. Azula gripped Katara's waist and pulled her closer. Their kisses grew more aggressive as Katara slipped her tongue in and smoothly slid her hands underneath Azula's silk top. They stayed there, grinding and pulling at each other for a while. Their breaths grew more heated and impatient as Katara pressed her against the wall, her hands expertly unbuttoning Azula's leather pants.

A soft moan escaped Azula's lips as Katara's hand dipped into her pants and palmed at her sex, "Mmmm."

Katara smirked as she felt Azula's wet entrance. She inserted two fingers and felt dripping walls clamp around them.

"Agni...yes," Azula groaned. She rocked harder against Katara's fingers, the swimmer's lips sucking at her neck. She arched her back and wrapped a leg around Katara who was now impressively supporting her as Azula strained into climax. Fingers were hooked into just the right spot, palm rubbing furiously against a very tender clit.

All her muscles were aching and shivering to let go when Katara suddenly bit into Azula's neck and twisted her fingers aggressively into her. "Fuck!" Azula gasped, her body giving way to an orgasm that ripped through her. They stayed like that grinding against each other until Azula trembled to a stop. Katara gently removed her fingers and seeing no place to clean up, shrugged and put her lips around them.

Azula watched as Katara tasted her. Her thoughts now a little bit clearer, she was painfully aware that they were just outside of a very public party. What the fuck was wrong with her? Azula grimaced as she pulled her pants back on.

Katara picked up her jacket and was now handing it to her, she grinned, "I didn't know you were a bottom."

"And I didn't know you even fucked girls," Azula retorted.

Katara shrugged, "Not something I go around announcing."

"I can relate to that," Azula slid her arms into her jacket.

"You might wanna…" Katara motioned at her neck.

Her hands went up to her neck, and Azula winced as they came in contact with a familiar sharpness. She expressed a look of frustration as she flipped her jacket collar up, "You just had to, didn't you."

"I promise you can do me next time," Katara said playfully.

"There's not going to be a next time." Azula turned to walk back into the party, missing a look of slight disappointment on Katara's face.
