As Shawn opened his eyes, the bright hospital light almost blinded him. His head began pounding, and all the pain came back to him, along with the memory of what happened.

"Hello?" He called out, his throat felt sore. The feeling when you're trying to hold in tears. A white guy in scrubs walked through the door,

"Oh you're awake! How are you feeling?" He asked, he looked young, no older than 30.

"Fine," That was a lie, "What happened?" He asked.

"Oh, you don't remember?" The doctor asked, his voice sounded sad, almost sympathetic.

"No, I remember. Just how am I here?"

"Oh, a young man named Turner brought you. He said he was your legal guardian?" The nurse replied, he went over to a desk on wheels and picked up a cup. He began to pour some water for Shawn.

"Where is he?"

The nurse finished pouring the water and walked over to Shawn, he slowly handed it to him. "He's not here yet, once I'm done in here, I'll call him and let him know you woke up." The nurse smiled. Shawn took the cup from his hand and drank it. The cold water felt nice on his throat. Out of everytime he got abused by anyone in his life, he'd never gone to the hospital for it. He'd never even been to a hospital.

Shawn had begun to fall back asleep when suddenly his door was bust open. Turner, Feeny, the Matthews and Topanga all walked through the door. They all tried to talk at the same time and he wasn't really listening.

"Everyone okay," Feeny said louder than the rest, he walked in front of everyone and over to Shawn. "Shawn are you alright? How are you feeling?" He asked. This was one of the only times Feeny had shown compassion for Shawn. Shawn didn't have a problem with that, it was like a joke they had.

"Yeah I'm good." Shawn tried to smile. While his body hurt and he couldn't stop thinking of what happened, he felt fine. Like he didn't feel like crying, or yelling. He didn't like all the attention but he felt relatively fine. He looked over at Cory, who was bruised and bandaged but was holding a tiny vase in his hands. Shawn looked over at Cory and chuckled.

"Oh, uh, these are for you." Cory said as he placed the vase down on a table next to the bed. When Shawn tried to sit up he finally realized how much pain he was in. His whole body ached, he realized he had cords sticking out of his arms. He didn't know what they were for, he'd never been in a hospital before. Suddenly a doctor walked into the room, followed by a young man with brown hair, wearing a jacket and holding a briefcase.

"Good afternoon everyone. Glad to see Shawn's woken up." The doctor said. He was a friendly looking asian man with glasses. Everyone gave a weak smile.

"Um, where is the legal guardian of the patient?" The doctor asked, causing Turner to stand up from the chair he was sitting in and walk over.

"That's me. My name's Jonathan Turner." Turner smiled.

"Great, Hi Mr. Turner. This is detective Sullivan. He will be working on Shawn's case." the doctor said as Sullivan walked over to Turner and two shook hands.

"Wait what case?" Shawn chimed in. This is why he never went to hospitals.

"Why don't we talk outside?" The detective spoke for the first time. Ushering Turner outside, Turner paused when Alan spoke up.

"All due respect Jonathan and, detective. But we've known Shawn since he was 7 years old and consider him one of my own. So I would like to hear too."

"As would I." Feeny chimed in.

The detective took a deep breath, and considered it.

"Alright that's okay as long as Mr. Turner is okay with it?" He stated, Turner nodded when the doctor finished his sentence, "But keep the children in here please." The detective said as he turned towards Shawn.

"Wait I don't get to know?" He scoffed.

"Of course you do kid, I just need to speak to them in private right now." The detective replied. It was pissing Shawn off, he was speaking to him like a child.

"We'll be right back, okay Shawn?" Turner said as he walked towards him. Shawn rolled his eyes and looked down at his hands. Turner sighed and the adults left the room, leaving Cory, Topanga, Morgan, Eric and Shawn.

"So what happened?" Cory asked, Shawn didn't reply and just shrugged.

"Come on man, I'm your best friend."

"I just don't want to talk about it." Shawn sighed as he finally looked up at Cory. "I'm sorry for hitting you."

"It's all good Shawnie." Cory smiled.

"So what's going on, detective?" Turner asked as everyone had left and he shut the door.

"The doctors ran some tests on Shawn and the results showed that," He was cut off.

"Wait what test?" Turner asked. The detective, a bit confused as to why Turner didn't know responded,

"The rape kit." The group looked confused, or shocked, or worried. Amy covered her mouth, while Alan furrowed his brows in confusion.

"The what?" Alan asked,

"It's a procedure done for victims-"

"Are you saying Shawn was raped?" Alan cut him off, he could feel himself getting angry. He really hoped it wasn't true.

"Yes sir." The group was shocked, Alan was angry. "When he first came to the hospital we found rupturing of the anus and remains of semen in between the boys legs, along with a small amount of blood."

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me." Alan sighed, Amy was devastated, Turner was in disbelief and Feeny, the ever rational one seemed relatively calm, however you could see the disappointment on his face.

"We're not 100% sure, we need Shawn to confirm that for us and tell us what happened."

"Do you know if he'd be up for that?" Feeny finally spoke, he turned to ask Jonathan who only shrugged. There was a brief moment of silence before the doctor took a deep breathe and spoke again,

"We also need to complete the rape kit, we need to take photos and get DNA samples off of him and," he didn't want to finish.

"And what?" Alan asked.

"We require some of Shawn's semen, unfortunately there's not a professional way to get it and…" The detective didn't finish hoping one of them would get where he was going with that.

"No. No, absolutely not." Turner finally spoke. No way he was allowing them to touch Shawn after what had just happened. The kid wouldn't be able to handle that.

"Jonathan," Amy sighed as she put her hand on his shoulder,

"If we don't get it we can't properly check if he's gotten any infections or has any internal bleeding, those things could get worse if we don't know about it." The detective tried to cut in but Turner wouldn't hear it,

"No! You're not going to touch him! Especially not there! The kid will have a mental breakdown."

"Jonathan, Shawn is a strong kid, he'll be fine. This is important to his health!" Feeny interrupted, "This is what's best for him." Turner was beyond frustrated, he wanted to scream but he knew if Shawn could keep it together so could he.

The group walked back into the room.

"Shawn I would like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind." The detective smiled. Shawn didn't reply, only looked him up and down.

"Guys, can you leave for a bit?" Turner asked. Amy smiled and left the room, followed by almost everyone else.

"Wait can Cory stay?" Shawn asked. For some reason he felt more comfortable with him there. Turner turned to ask the detective who smiled. Cory saw and went back in the room, he didn't want to get too close to Shawn, so he instead leaned on the wall next to the door.

"Shawn, what happened last night?" The detective asked. He had a clipboard on his lap and a pen. Shawn knew that's what they were gonna ask him about, but he still didn't want to talk about it.

After moments of no response the detective spoke again, "Okay Shawn, I'm gonna ask you some questions and I need you to respond yes or no." Shawn slightly nodded in response.

"Shawn, yesterday were you physically assaulted by someone?"

Shawn didn't want to respond.

"This is for a legal investigation so anything you say can be used in a trial, I would not recommend lying. So were you physically assaulted by someone yesterday?"

Shawn didn't like this guy, he was too aggressive. "Yes." He whispered.

"Was it more than one person?"

"Yes."

"Did you know who they were?"

"Yes."

"Did they follow you?"

"Yes." Shawn's replies were getting quieter and quieter. He was quickly regretting asking for Cory in the room.

"Are they who gave you that cut on your leg?"

"Yes."

"Did they touch you?" Shawn's breathing quickened. He felt his face getting hot. He didn't want to answer any more questions.

"Yes." He whispered, he glanced up at Cory who had his brows furrowed and looked confused. Jonathan began to hold Shawn's hand.

"Did you perform oral sex on them?" Shawn looked down as a tear fell from his eye, he bit his cheek. He nodded.

"Mr. Hunter, I need verbal confirmation from you." Shawn looked up at Turner with confusion,

"You have to say your answer out loud." Turner clarified, it causes Cory and Sullivan to look at them with confusion.

"Yes." Shawn mumbled.

"Did they perform oral sex on you?" Shawn had tears flowing down his face, Turner began to rub Shawn's back when Sullivan stopped him. "Coddling the boy will cause him to shut down. He needs to talk about this and I'm almost done, now Shawn please answer my question."

"Yes." he cried. His voice finally broke. He attempted to collect himself.

"Mr. Hunter, were you raped?"

"No!"

"Shawn,"

"Cory shut up!" Shawn's tears had turned into frustration. 'Raped' He hated that word. It was for girls. He was a boy. Boys don't get raped.

"Shawn. Were you forced into non consensual sex last night?" The detective grabbed Shawn's focus again.

"Fine! Yeah I was! For hours! Now leave me alone!"

"Mr. Hunter I'm afraid I'm not done asking questions."

"Well I'm done answering them." Shawn said as he turned around to face the wall. Just as feared, he was pushed too far which resulted in him shutting down. Turner and Cory both knew how Shawn was, and how he wasn't good at talking about feelings and would rather shut down.

Sullivan let out a deep sigh and put away his clipboard. "In about an hour some doctors are gonna come in here and run some tests. Is that alright with you?"

"Whatever" Shawn scoffed.
