Starting this off by saying I do not own Rizzoli and Isles or any of the characters mentioned. I am just a mere fan, who loves the show, loves to write, and wants to add to the lives of these fictional characters.

Maura and Jane Pairing. Maura G! P in this story. This starts off when Jane finds out she is pregnant.

Chapter 1

Maura's P.O.V.

When Jane said she was pregnant my mind went blank, all I could think was oh my god she's having my baby! You see I was born with a rare condition which means I have both male and female parts, and it wasn't until I met Jane and the Rizzoli's that anyone outside of myself and my parents knew about my condition. Now Vince Korsak, Barry Frost, and the entire Rizzoli family all know, and they still love and accept me as I am. Now most people would be happy to find out that the woman they are in love with, their absolute best friend in the world, and the woman they trust more than anyone else is pregnant with their child but that wasn't my case. See Jane is still dating Casey and after one of their arguments and a night of drinking and a long talk later Jane and I ended up in bed together and you guessed right we didn't wear protection and now… here we are.

I snapped out of my flashback when Angela squealed "Another grandbaby! Oh Janie! I'm so happy for you!" Angela hugged Jane tight and jumped up and down in delight.

Frankie smiled and patted Jane on the back "Congrats sis, I can't wait to be an uncle again!"

Tommy, Lydia, and TJ all hugged Jane and congratulated her. Vince and Barry smiled and said their congratulations as well. Jane nodded and said, "I haven't told Casey yet so no one can say anything got it?!" They all nodded and agreed and then the worst happened. Her eyes met mine and we held each other's stares for a moment too long until Vince cleared his throat while looking at me.

"Congratulations Jane! I'm so happy for you!" I said while holding back tears because I knew that baby was mine and not Casey's. Ever since that one drunken night, Jane and I have been regularly seeing each other. Casey and Jane only happened a few times before he left again, so that child is an Isles not a Jones.

She nodded and watched my face for any sign of sadness, anger, or happiness. I kept myself neutral until we could be alone. "Thanks, Maur." Everyone looked at each other and then at us and they said their goodbyes leaving Jane and I alone together. I looked at her and a tear fell finally from my eyes.

"The baby is mine correct? Not his am I right?" I ask and she nods.

"Maur I'm so scared and thrilled at the same time. I'm scared when this finally gets out how my family and Casey will react. And I'm thrilled because this baby is yours. A mixture of our love. A tiny you and a tiny me all rolled into one. I love you Maura Isles, I know it's complicated and messy right now, but I want you. Please say you want me too."

I walk to her fast and pull her against me as I crash my lips onto hers. "I've always wanted you; I just never knew if you wanted me too. I love you too Jane Rizzoli and I am going to do right by you and our baby. I will always take care of the both of you no matter what. And even though I tend to like order and control and structure, I'm willing to work through complicated and messy just for you." I smile and we kiss again.

I hug her tight and I can feel her relax for the first time in a long time and I know in the end, we'll be okay.
