'Knock Knock! Knock Knock!" The sound of someone impatiently knocking the door could be heard in my household early in the morning.

"Mistress Kagami, there is someone knocking on the door, shall I open and find out who that person is?" asked Alfred while preparing my breakfast which consisted of a bowl of cookies and a cup of freshly brewed jasmine tea

"Good morning Alfred. I will open the door once I prepare myself. Thank you for offering and for the breakfast". I said with a smile, a clear indication that I had slept well the previous night, despite being rudely awakened by the constant knocking on my door.

"Lancer. Find somewhere to hide and make yourself invisble. When it comes to Lia, nothing can be considered an overkill as she is a stalker who can sense anything especially secrets. I cannot risk her finding out our secret, lest I have to kill her since she is a normal person." I requested worrying.

"Don't worry master! I will not let you down again!" she said, sounding a little apologetic from her blunder yesterday.

She turned into her spiritual form and hid in the attics which was at the most remote corner of my house.

I opened the door and saw a furious Lia glaring at me.

"G-Good m-morning Ka-ga-mi chan.." she said with a forced smile, purposeling dragging my name and it seemed that she was controlling herself to not pounce at me.

"Good morning Lia. What brings you to my house so early in the morning?" I asked, although I could easily figure out the reason why she was here

"Ah… ah… me? I came here to find out what was sooo important to you that you were not here last night. I waited 3 hours for you, standing in the freezing cold weather and you were still not back!" she said with a pained expression.

'Wow, she looks like she is about to blow up.' I thought

"Fine! Fine! I will tell you the reason. Just come in before you cause a ruckus for my neighbours." I said while rolling my eyes

'The goal is for her to leave as soon as possible...' I thought to myself and sighed.

"So, tell me, Kagami chan. What were you doing last night? Where have you been? Why? With who? Were you on a date?" Lia rapidly fire an infinite amount of questions without giving me a chance to reply.

As I was unable to reply, due to her endless chattering, it seemed that her imagination is getting wilder and wilder which could be seen as her face gets redder and redder.

'Wait, was that drool I see coming out from her mouth?' I sweatdropped

"Lia, stop!" I was finally unable to take anymore of her nonsense and yelled at her with anger and embarrassment. I raise my hand over her mouth to prevent her from continue talking

"You know very well I am not looking for love right now!" I stated calmly, hoping to steer the conversation back on track.

"Ha-Ha! Finally! I witness your embarrassed face! How cute! It was a date after all". Lia laughed boisterously and somehow came to a wrong conclusion

"First of all, it was not a date. I just went to his house for a meeting that was set up by our parents. Secondly, he is not the kind of guy I want to date. He is far too annoying." I said, trying to get the blush out of my face while feeding Lia the information she wanted.

"Although he is a little cute and kind of polite." I softly added under my breath

"Ah Ha! You just admitted that the person you are meeting is a guy. Spill girl, what is your reason for meeting him? I know it is not because of your parents as you told me you had not met them for a long time." interrogated Lia and somehow kept coming up with weird conclusions.

"Lia, I am going to tell you something that is very secretive. Just do not tell it to anyone. You are not even allowed to drop hints about the topic. You have to promise me this"

Lia nodded and assured, "I might be a stalker but I still have standards."

"The information will be safe with me until someone can offer me better and juicier information!" she laughed with a rat-like smirk.

"There is a certain war. The winning criteria for the war is to survive till the very and kill off the other 6 people who are participating. Initially, we were about to fight before he somehow convinced me to form an alliance with him. However, this does not mean that I like him." I explained her with the barest details of the war.

". . . . . ." There was a moment of awkward silence and Lia burst out laughing.

"It is not funny! It is a serious thing!" I said aggressively.

"That is the best joke you ever told me Kagami chan!" Lia wheezed out between her laughter.

"Lancer! Come to me!" I desperately called out to her telepathically but there was no response.

"I think the game might have messed up your mind Kagami Chan. I did not expect that from you" Lia said after calming down from her laughter

"Anyways, I just realised that there was something I was supposed to do 2 hours ago." Told me Lia with an embarrassed voice.

I walked her to the door and she left "Bye bye Kagami chan! It is ok to talk with me via phone. Be careful of getting addicted to your games!" she laughed at me again and skipped away.

"Why does nobody take me seriously? Why?" I bemoaned

*With Lancer*

"Stay away you beast. Do not come any closer!" Lancer stood on top of a crate and tried to get rid of the cat who sniffed out her presence despite being invisible.

"Meow" The cat purred in response to Lancer's threat

'Safe me Master' Lancer thought to herself before continuing her 'war' with the cat

*Lia's thoughts while walking home*

'Wow, who would have believed that Kagami is the one to remind me of my parents' stories when I was a child. I never expect her to be talking with me about the holy grail war. Surely there is no way that she'll take part in one, right? But if she actually managed to take part in it and almost snagged herself a boyfriend, surely, I can do it too. It will not even be a problem to win because I can summon my servant now.' She thought and continued her merry way home.

*At an unknown place*

"Everything is ready. All of my servants are almost summoned… such a shame my master could not witness this… but he asked for it, right? Berserker cruelly cackled

'The rest of the master did not even think of imagine that the events that will happen had been planned for 20 years prior to this war. Being a servant to such an accommodating master is a wonderful feeling indeed!' Berserker thought.

There was not even a single word nor movement coming from his master, as if, his master's soul was not even present.
