"Hahaha! I am found all the items required to summon my servant. Now I can finally join the holy grail war and get some guys." Lia laughed.
To both her and the readers' surprise, she actually performed the ritual flawlessly.
A white beam of light appeared from the summoning circle and a servant emerged from the beam of light
"Umu. I, servant Caster has arrived. Who are you? Where am I?" asked with her high voice. Caster was wearing a bright red bikini outfit that was very revealing and left very little to imagine. She had a huge rack, golden hair and striking blue eyes.
'Wow, her chest is actually bigger than mine and I am no slouch' Lia thought and touched her chest for emphasis
"Caster! I am your master, Lia! I summoned you and together we'll win the holy grail war!" Lia answered without a shred of doubt
"Ho! Finally, I have a master with enough confidence! Although I would think your name could be British… you're not British. Are you master?" Caster asked
"Britannia? No, I'm not from Britannia, I'm 100% Japanese" Said Lia proudly.
"Well Caster. First things first, you need to wear something." Commended Lia.
"B-But master! My body is a greatest masterpiece the world has seen and it is important for me to grace everyone with this body!" Complained Caster.
"No buts Caster-chan! You have to hide yourself, you're a servant and secondly you should only show your masterpiece to those who appreciate it, not the common folks?" Asked Lia.
Secretly, Lia had another reason to ask Caster to put on more clothes.
'If Caster walks around like that, all the guys would look at her, not me' Lia worryingly thought
Caster sadly nodded and then put a red coat over her bikini.
Lia watched for a few more moments and realized that this was the most covered up that Caster was willing to get and she sighed.
"Why did I get an exhibitionist servant out of all servants I can get?" Lia mentally cried.
In the meeting room of Kagami's house, Lancer and her were taking a break from planning for the war. Lancer was busy drinking tea and Kagami was looking for anything that was useful in her personal library.
After 2 hours, Kagami came down with two heavy looking books. One was brown and the other one was dark blue. In addition to these two nooks, there was a red notebook in which Kagami jolted down the events that had happened, something like her personal war journal.
"I have to admit you are really organised, master" complimented Lancer.
"Of course. I have to be organised. If I am organised, the chances of us losing would be lower." Kagami snottily replied, although her slightly pink face would indicate that she was embarrassed from the compliment
"I am so glad, there is peace now. I feel that I am wasting time when I am hanging out with somebody, no offence Lancer" Kagami groaned tiredly.
"No offence taken. You know, master… when we looked back at the things we had done in the past, sometimes, the normal things are not the best times to remember." Lancer wisely said
"I think that if you continue to stay home and refuse to go out, you will feel disconnected from the world. I am not saying you should go out now, considering the circumstances, but maybe after this war is over, you should go out more. I really recommend you take this chance to explore as some people may not even have this opportunity." Lancer finished with tears rolling down her cheeks
"Lancer… are you okay? I am sorry if I was being too cold, I will try my best to be more open with you." Kagami bowed and apologized
"She must have been referring to herself at the end" Kagami thought gloomily
"Everything is fine master, I did not cry because of you, you just reminded me something about my past. Let us continue to discuss our strategy, we need to move forward in life." She said with a (fake) cheerful smile.
After an hour, we formulated some strategies against multiple pairs masters and servants, and for the first time since this war began, Kagami felt in tune with Lancer.
"Knock Knock" The knocking of the door was heard and Alfred came up to ask whether he should open the door.
Kagami shook her head and informed Alfred that she would greet the guest(s) personally.
"Lancer, please go into your spirit form and stay by my side. I got a feeling that this might not be a friendly visit" Kagami commanded.
"Trust me master! I will be by your side" Lancer answered with a tiny smile.
"And you can protect me from that monster (cat) lurking in your house" Lancer silently added
The moment Kagami stepped close to the door; She knew that my gut feeling was right. She could sense a strong magical presence only a servant could have.
Kagami slowly opened a door and saw Lia with a slutty looking woman and Kagami was sure that the woman was Lia's servant.
"Lancer attack!" I shouted before pushing Lia to the side and ran to the street where I had more area to work with.
Lancer materialized and threw out her pale blue flames at the woman, only to be deflected by laser beams shooting out from the cannon that appeared on the women back.
Lia, stupidly or bravely ran across the street and shouted angrily
"Kagami Chan! Why did you attack me and run away. I feel very insulted you will do that to your (self-proclaimed) best friend"
"Why would I not run away from you? You could have hurt me or kill me from the moment you saw me, you are somehow a master in the holy grail war!" Kagami yelled angrily at her.
"But Kagami chan! I would not hurt you at all, I just wanted to suggest that we should form a truce! I will ask Caster chan to go into spirit form"
With a flick of her hands, Caster disappeared leaving Lia with Kagami and Lancer
'I think I can use the situation to my advantage, she is stupid enough to leave her servant out while my servant is here and she even revealed which class her servant is.' Kagami thought happily to herself
"Okay." Kagami agreed to the truce they went their separate ways.
Lia went to home with Caster. However, Kagami and Lancer had other plans.
"Master, why are we not going home?" Lancer asked with a cute tilt of her head.
"I have arranged a meeting with Ace because there are some things we should discuss about" Kagami answered.
"We will go down to Ace' house once Lia is far away from us. I do not want her to follow us and see the guy I am talking to" Kagami continued to explain
When Lia was nowhere close by to be sense by both Kagami and Lancer, they started to make their way to Ace's house.
When Kagami arrived, she knocked on the door.
Feeling a little lazy and mischievous, Ace ordered Archer to open the door, knowing who was the one knocking.
Archer and Kagami were both shocked when they saw each other but for different reasons.
"M..ma…master! Why are you bringing that thin and weak girl back here? Do you prefer her over me?" Archer sniffed.
"A…Archer!?" Kagami gasped. Kagami was a miffed and the reason that she was shocked as she xpected Ace to have the decency to inform his own servant of her arrival.
"Ace, do you have to be so mean? We came here for a serious meeting." Kagami scolded him
Sadly, Kagami must not have looked scary enough as Ace could not stop his laughter.
"Sorry, Sorry! I did not think you would be spooked so easily!" He said with sarcasm and continued laughing.
Kagami continued glaring and Ace realised that Kagami was not joking and apologized to Archer for getting her involved in his stupid prank
After a few minutes of apologies and forgiveness from the respectives parties, there was someone knocking on the door.
This time, Ace volunteered to open the door, both servants turned into their spiritual form.
Kagami looked at Ace quizzically as if asking who else was supposed to come, Ace just gave a shrugged as his response.
When Ace opened the door, he stared blankly at the person, not knowing who the person was.
"Ace, are you ok?" Kagami asked worringly as she saw that Ace had not move for a few seconds and she stuck out her head to see who that was.
The sight made her face so pale that the spirits in the underworld would accept her as one of their own.
"Kagami Chan! Is that the man you were telling me about?" Lia said while oogling at Ace.
His blue hair and eyes were apparently to Lia's liking. His height surprisingly did not turn Lia's off, instead she was much more attracted to him because of his height
"Kagami you were right! He's so cute!" Lia squealed excitement and hugged Ace tightly.
"Hmph!" Ace tried to struggle out of the hug or called for help but he could not succeed as he was too short was sandwiched between Lia's chest.
"Lia, let the poor boy go. He cannot breathe with your lumps of fats clamping on him." Kagami said tiredly
After letting go, Ace muttered a small thanks to Kagami and glared at Lia.
"How did you find us? I was sure you went home before we came here." Kagami asked
"I asked Caster to place a tracking spell." Lia replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world and she started hugging Ace from the back again, much to his displeasure though there was a slight trace of blush on his face.
Ace sent a pleading look to Kagami for help as he could not break free from Lia's monstrous hug.
Kagami, seeing Ace's pleading face, decided to take revenge from the earlier incident with Archer and said "Well of course a 12-year-old kid would be cute, it does not mean anything. Lia please stop clinging on him, unless you wanted to be called a pedophile."
Kagami found it was quite amusing to see the changes on Ace's face. It had turned from pleading to betrayed and now a mad face
"How dare you!? Calling me 12 years old!? I am 16 this year. I should be around your age!" He yelled angrily and started swinging his arms and legs wildly which was pretty funny as Lia was still hugging him.
From her bystander's perspective, it looked like a kid throwing a tantrum as he could not get the sweets he wanted.
"Why are you yelling at me? I was not trying to insult you." Kagami said teasingly and Lia joined in on the laughter and placed her chin on top of his head
"You have no idea what I am capable of. I am one of the masters with the highest chance of winning this war!" Ace got angrier at Kagami's teasing and pointed rudely at her
"Lancer, are you intimidated by Ace' threat?" Kagami asked
Lancer materialized and shook her head with an honest and innocent look
"No offense Ace. If Lancer is not scared of you, your intimidation level is lower than the cat in my house." Kagami said with a teasing smirk.
"…" Ace was speechless. Lancer was blushing heavily in embarrassment and Lia continued to laugh while hugging the now pouting Ace.
