Chapter 4: A Double Kidnapping
(Pleasant Meadow)
Mario, Luigi, Marco, and Loewy had dropped off the lost Toad's from the past they found in Pleasant Meadow to this Lakitu.
Lakitu- All aboard the Lakitu delivery service. Next stop, Princess Peach's castle.
Toad from the past- Marco, you sure that place will be safe?
Marco- I'm sure. It is where Princess Amethyst and the other Toad's our new friends have found are being kept. But don't worry. We'll get everyone back to our correct time period soon.
Then the Lakitu flew the Toad's to Peach's castle on his cloud.
Loewy- Amazing how all those Toads can fit on that cloud.
Starlow- Having Marco and Loewy around actually made those Toad's from the past come out of hiding.
Mario- They are the Mario Brothers they know of. Makes sense they'd be more comfortable with them.
Luigi- Say Marco, what's with that sword you're carrying around?
Marco- It was mine and Loewy's father's sword before he….(sigh)…left us. Loewy and I keep it mostly as a memento for our father. Why do you ask?
Luigi- Well, neither Mario nor I use a sword or any weapon like that at all.
Marco- That is a little odd…(mutter)…is father's sword still part of this time…?
Starlow- I think we've gotten all the lost Toad's from your time in Pleasant Meadow. But the real question is where should we go next?
(At Princess Peach's castle)
Princess Peach, Princess Amethyst, and a bunch of Toad's from both time periods were standing in the foyer of the castle.
Princess Peach- I do hope Mario and Luigi are alright.
Princess Amethyst- I'm sure they're fine. From what the Toad's that that Lakitu just delivered to the castle told us, they had already found Marco and Loewy and are working together on this.
Suddenly, everyone in the room froze in fear as a familiar sounding laugh could be heard.
Slicor Koopa- GWAHAHAHA!
Princess Peach- Oh dear! I know that laugh all too well! I guess it's that point in the story.
Princess Amethyst- Ugh. Not again.
Then the stain glass mural of Princess Peach shattered as a Koopa Clown Car flew through it, but it wasn't Bowser riding it. It was Slicor Koopa.
Toad- What's happening? That's not Bowser.
Toad from the past- That's Slicor Koopa! The Koopa King from our time!
Slicor Koopa- Hand of the princesses!
Then another Koopa Clown Car smashed through the wall, but this time it was driven by Bowser.
Toad- Another Bowser?
Bowser- Get it right, pip-squeaks! I'm the one and only Bowser!
Then all the Toads ran away from Bowser and Slicor.
Bowser- Why are you trying to steal my thunder, you attention hog?!
Slicor Koopa- Hey, this is my show too!
Bowser and Slicor Koopa (at the same time)- GRRRRRR!
However, when Bowser and Slicor returned their attention to where the two princesses were standing, they saw two cardboard cutouts of Peach and Amethyst instead.
Bowser- Huh?
Recording of Peach's voice- Oh, I'm so scared! Mario, help me!
Slicor Koopa- What even is this malarkey? That doesn't even sound like her actual voice.
Recording of Princess Amethyst's voice- Oh, I'm so scared! Marco, help me!
Bowser- It's called a tape recorder and it's a simple and primitive device for our time. But I guess you know nothing about it since you're from the past, Slicor. But you know what time it is? Kidnapping time!
Then Bowser and Slicor use their flame breath to burn the cardboard cutouts of the two princesses.
Bowser and Slicor Koopa (at the same time)- And nothing gets in the way of kidnapping time!
After the cardboard cutouts of Princess Peach and Princess Amethyst were reduced to ashes, Bowser and Slicor entered the throne room where the two princesses were trying to hide.
Bowser- We've got you now!
Slicor Koopa- Bowser's right. Let's go, ladies!
Princess Peach- Hurry, let's get out of here!
Princess Peach and Princess Amethyst tried to flee before Bowser and Slicor could grab them, but Princess Peach fell in her attempt to escape. And instead of making a break for it, Princess Amethyst turned around to try and help Princess Peach get back up. However, Bowser and Slicor cornered the two princesses in that opportunity.
(Back at Pleasant Meadow)
Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow were continuing to make their way through meadow, Starlow noticed something off. Starlow turned around and saw smoke rising from where Peach's castle was.
Starlow- Oh no! That's in the direction of the castle!
Mario- Peach!
Marco- Amethyst!
Starlow- Maybe we should head back to the castle and make sure both princesses are alright.
Bowser's voice- It's a little too late for that, chumps!
Then Mario, Luigi, Marco, and Loewy looked up and saw Bowser and Slicor hovering above them in their Koopa Clown Cars with Princess Peach trapped in the one Bowser was driving and Princess Amethyst in the one Slicor was driving.
Mario- Bowser!
Marco- Slicor!
Bowser- Hey, superzeroes! Say hello to the newest member of Team Evil, my pal, Slicor Koopa! Apparently, he was a Koopa King who ruled long before I was even born.
Marco- I'm surprised you're working with someone, Slicor. You're not the type of person to have a partner unless you're the guy in charge.
Slicor Koopa- I'll admit, I wasn't too pumped about this guy biting my style at first. So our fists had a little parley…and that's when it hit us!
Bowser- We got something important in common. Taking you Mario retards down!
Slicor Koopa- Plus, working together made the kidnapping process much smoother!
Bowser- Of course, my kidnapping technique was way better!
Slicor Koopa- Oh please! The princess wasn't scared of you at all, dumbass!
Bowser- One of them was, you asshole! Anyway, enough infighting!
Slicor Koopa- We're heading back to Castle Koopa. And you predictable retards are gonna try and follow us, cause that's what you always do!
Both the Koopa Clown Cars began to fly away.
Princess Peach- Mario! Luigi!
Princess Amethyst- Marco! Loewy!
Mario, Luigi, Marco, and Loewy tried to rush after them, but Petey Piranha jumped out of the ground and intercepted the Mario Brothers.
Bowser- Here, this will keep you busy! Gwahahaha!
Loewy- Is that a Piranha Plant?!
Marco- I don't think I've seen a Piranha Plant like that before!
Mario- That's Petey Piranha and yes, he is different than the other Piranha Plants.
Petey Piranha spun his leaf arms around and managed to grab hold of Loewy.
Loewy- Hey! Get this guy off of me!
Then Petey Piranha put Loewy into his mouth and began chomping away.
Marco- Oh no! Loewy!
Petey Piranha tried to charge for Mario, Luigi, and Marco, but they jumped out of the way. Mario and Luigi tried to jump on Petey Piranha, but Petey Piranha swatted them away with his leaf arms. However, Marco managed to jump on the back of Petey Piranha's head while he was distracted and Marco had his sword unsheathed.
Marco- Spit my brother out this instant!
Then Marco stabbed his sword into the back of Petey Piranha's head. This made Petey Piranha scream in pain, but he did eventually spit Loewy out. However, Loewy was covered in some brown goop like in Super Mario Sunshine.
Loewy- Yuck! That was disgusting! Now I know how someone feels after Kimberly or Ihsoy swallows them…
Petey Piranha shook his head like crazy until he managed to throw Marco and his sword off. After Petey Piranha noticed there was blood leaking from the back of his head, he got really angry and his body was beginning to glow bright red.
Luigi- Oh ho! I think Petey has lost his temper again! Guess he's not happy about you stabbing him in the back of the head with that sword of yours.
Then Petey Piranha spat out a ball of that brown goop and launched it at Marco and Loewy. Luckily, Marco and Loewy managed dodge. But that ball of goop hit and completely dissolved a nearby tree.
Loewy- What is that stuff, anyway?
Marco- Not sure. It looks like mud.
Mario- Trust me, it's worse!
Then Marco felt something in his pocket pulled out some fire flowers.
Marco- Hey Loewy, looks like I still had some fire flowers left over. Four to be precise.
Marco and Loewy each took a fire flower and turned into Fire Marco and Fire Loewy. But before Fire Marco or Fire Loewy could attack, they saw Mario and Luigi holding their hands out at them.
Mario- Toss us the other two fire flowers, Marco.
Fire Marco- Hold on…you can use the fire flowers too?
Petey Piranha began to charge like crazy again.
Luigi- No time to talk! Petey's ready to attack again!
Then Fire Marco tossed the remaining two fire flowers to Mario and Luigi. Mario and Luigi quickly ate them to turn into Fire Mario and Fire Luigi.
Fire Loewy- They can use the power of the fire flowers like us? I thought you and I were the only ones who could use the powerup items like the fire flower.
Fire Marco- Well…Kyrin did give us this power. He might've given it to them too since he chose them to be our successors.
Petey Piranha tried to bite at Fire Mario and Fire Luigi, but they jumped out of the way. Then Petey Piranha got pelted with numerous red and green fireballs from Fire Mario and Fire Luigi. But as Petey Piranha got his teeth out of the ground, he saw Fire Marco and Fire Loewy combining their fireballs to launch one huge swirling red and green fireball at Petey Piranha. When the smoke cleared after the fireball exploded in Petey's face, Petey Piranha collapsed to the ground and was covered in ashes.
Fire Luigi- We did it!
Fire Mario- But Bowser and Slicor got away with the princesses while we were distracted.
Fire Marco- But if Bowser is like Slicor, they'll bring them to his castle in Dark Land.
Fire Loewy- By the way, I guess Kyrin gave you the ability to use powerup items too.
Fire Mario- What are you talking about? No one gave use this ability.
Fire Luigi- It was just something we were born with.
Fire Marco- That is interesting. Loewy and I couldn't use powerup like the fire flower until Kyrin granted us this ability.
Starlow- Anyway, I think we need to make our way to Castle Koopa and get Peach and Amethyst back.
