Chapter 9: Enter the Yoshi's
(Bowser's villa at Mount Brrr)
Bowser Jr was looking over the roof of the villa and taking in the view of the mountains.
Bowser Jr- Who knew Papa had a villa way up here? Talk about a killer view!
Then Slicor Jr rushed up to the roof while passing the cage Princess Peach and Princess Amethyst were locked in.
Slicor Jr- Hey buddy! Did you check out that awesome display of sweats downstairs? I swear, there's a chocolate cake that looks just like us!
Bowser Jr- No way! This I have to see!
Then Bowser Jr and Slicor Jr walked downstairs while leaving the princesses alone, but still in the cage.
Princess Peach- Where are we? On top of a mountain?
Princess Amethyst- Brrr! I'm freezing! At least we got each other to stay warm!
Princess Peach- Ah, so you run cold too? Oh, how silly of me! You are a princess of the Mushroom Kingdom too.
Then Princess Peach and Princess Amethyst looked towards the view of the snowy mountains.
Princess Peach- I wonder where Mario is…and of course Luigi, Marco, and Loewy…
Princess Amethyst- If the Super Mario Brothers are anything like Marco and Loewy, I'm sure they'll be just fine.
Then Princess Peach took a closer look at Princess Amethyst.
Princess Peach- You know, I never noticed how lovely our hair looks against our long dresses.
Princess Amethyst- You're absolutely right!
Princess Peach- To be honest, I've always wanted to do something drastic to my hair. Like chop it off!
Princess Amethyst- Me too! But someone always talks me out of it.
Princess Peach- Oh, do they say that short hair isn't significantly princessy? I've heard that one a lot.
Princess Amethyst- Exactly! It's completely ridiculous!
Princess Peach- I do get tired of this look. Do you have any ideas about how to style it differently?
Princess Amethyst- Well, there's always a ponytail. It's good for playing sports, but it's hardly a new look.
Princess Peach- I guess I could always try flat ironing it or crimping it. Or even dying it purple!
Princess Amethyst- Those are all interesting options, but have you considered changing your outfit instead?
Princess Peach- Well, this is one of my favorite dresses…and like I mentioned, it goes well with our hair color. But I am curious of how your shade of amethyst purple will look on me.
Then both princesses began giggling a bit.
Princess Amethyst- Once we get out of here, let's have a fashion show to debut our new looks!
Princess Peach- Ooooh, excellent idea! I have a closet full of tiaras I've never worn!
Princess Amethyst- Me too!
(Gloomy Woods)
Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow were walking through the woods after parking the Shooting Star in a small village near the woods.
Luigi- You could've just flown that airship directly to Bowser's villa instead of this creepy looking forest.
Mario- No I couldn't. There was not safe place on Mount Brrr for us to land without wrecking the Shooting Star and severally injuring the four of us.
Loewy- Wow, Mario's just as touchy with Kyrin's airship as much as Marco is in our time.
Marco- I told you already, Loewy! Kyrin would kill me if I break the Shooting Star so irresponsibly.
Mario- Anyway, all we have to do is cross these woods and we'll reach Mount Brr.
Kaster's voice- You just don't know when to give up, do you?!
When they looked up, they saw Kaster flying just above them on his broomstick.
Marco- You again, Kaster?
Starlow- Hold on…Kamek doesn't appear to be with him.
Kaster- He's busy with something else…not that I need that oaf for anything. While I'd like nothing better than to give you retards walloping…unlike you deadbeats, I've got work to do!
Marco- Like what? Keeping those Koopa brats out of your master's hair?
Kaster- Humph! I don't have time to babysit you four losers!
Then Kaster made these giant melons the size of houses appear and block their path.
Kaster- Nahahahaha! That should keep you out of our hair!
Then Kaster flies away on his broomstick.
Starlow- Well this is a fine mess we've got. How are we supposed to get around this melon and get to the villa now?
Luigi- Maybe we can eat the melon.
Mario- I think our bellies would explode before we even come close to a quarter of this.
Loewy- Maybe for us, but I think Kimberly and Ihsoy would have the stomach for this and in one bite.
Marco- One problem with that. Ihsoy and Kimberly are still in our time.
Mario- But Luigi and I do know two people in our time who could eat this in one go. There's Kirby and…
Before Mario could finish, the sound of a familiar voice could be heard in the distance.
Yoshi's voice- Mario's!
Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow turned around and saw Yoshi running up to them. As soon as Yoshi caught up, he began panting like he was out of breath and he was looking at the ground.
Mario- Yoshi?
Luigi- What's he doing here?
Starlow- Not sure, but this could be perfect timing.
Mario and the others approached Yoshi while Yoshi was still catching his breath.
Starlow- Long way from Yoshi Island there, Yoshi. What's the occasion?
Yoshi- Yoshi heard situation in Mushroom Kingdom and…HUH…?
Yoshi looked up and noticed Marco and Loewy standing next to Mario and Luigi.
Yoshi- Yoshi seeing double? Twice Mario Brothers?
Mario- Actually, these are Marco and Loewy. You remember how since season 1 of this fanfiction series, we keep hearing about my ancestor who lead the original team and defeated Tabuu. This is them right here.
Yoshi- Uh…Mario's traveling with dead people?
Marco and Loewy almost collapsed to the ground after hearing Yoshi say that.
Starlow- No, you idiot! Marco and Loewy were pulled from their time period long with a few Toads and other characters of interest. For example, we have two Koopa Kings to deal with and we're off to rescue two princesses.
Mario- Anyway, think you can do something about this oversized melon obstructing our path?
Yoshi- Yoshi do!
Then Yoshi wrapped his tongue around the melon and gobbled it down in one gulp.
Yoshi- (BURP)…Oh yum! Yoshi like tasty snack!
Marco- Wow, he really is just like Ihsoy.
Loewy- Not only does he look like Ihsoy, he talks and acts like Ihsoy too.
Yoshi- Ihsoy?
Marco- He's a Yoshi who was part of the team from my time. And you seem to have just as much of an appetite as he does. But it's nice to meet a member of my descendant's team.
(Later and deeper into the Gloomy Woods)
Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Maco, Loewy, and Starlow made their way further through the woods. At the same time, Mario and Luigi were explaining what had happened so far to Yoshi.
Yoshi- Strange. Magic book bring Mario Brothers from past to now. And now Bowser Jr took with princesses at villa in snowy mountain.
Luigi- That pretty much sums it all up.
Marco- I am curious if I might be able to meet the other members of your team during this adventure in your time.
Mario- Doubt it. Most of them don't even live near the Mushroom Kingdom. But who knows? Maybe I'll introduce you to…
Yoshi- Look out!
Then Yoshi pushed Mario and Luigi out of the way before a magic attack that was launched from above could hit them. However, Yoshi got hit instead and left him wounded.
Kamek's voice- Nahahahahaha! I was aiming for the Mario's but it feels good to get my payback on Yoshi after all he trouble he's caused me in those Yoshi games!
Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow looked up and saw Kamek riding on his broom.
Luigi- I guess it's Kamek's turn after Kaster.
Mario- But Yoshi's hurt!
Kamek- You should be more concerned about yourselves! And I don't need that pathetic excuse for a Magikoopa like Kaster to beat you retards! Anyway, you're not getting any further!
Kamek pointed his want at them shot another magic attack. However, Marco drew his sword and knocked the magic attack back at Kamek and almost knocked him off his broom.
Kamek- Owch…I forgot that Kaster warned me about that sword Marco Mario has…that it was crafted by the Lord of the Universe and used by your father before you took it up…
Then Kamek shook himself back together.
Kamek- You got lucky this time, but you won't get so lucky next time we meet!
After Kamek left, Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow returned their attention to Yoshi who was lying injured on the ground.
Mario- Yoshi! You ok?
Yoshi- Yoshi fine…but Yoshi no shape to help Mario's sadly…
Luigi- What should we do, Mario?
Starlow- We still need get to Mount Brrr and get the book and the princesses back.
Marco- But that Yoshi needs some medical attention and we can't just leave him here.
Loewy- Hang on! I think I hear someone coming…
When Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow turned around, they saw Goombario and Magolor rushing up to them.
Goombario- Hello again.
Starlow- Where have you guys been this whole time?
Magolor- Goombario and I were rounding up all the Toads from Marco and Loewy's time that were lost in the Gloomy Woods before bringing them back to Peach's castle.
Goombario- We heard Kamek's laugh coming in this direction and figured we should investigate.
Mario- Actually, I think you guys came at the right time. Yoshi was attacked by Kamek and got hurt. We can't leave him behind without him treated. You mind tending to Yoshi while we get to Mount Brrr?
