Chapter 14: Vs. Morton, Iggy, and Lemmy
(Roof of the NEO-Castle Koopa)
Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow finally arrived at the roof of the castle. There, they saw a long catwalk stretching all the way across the castle. And on the other end of it were Bowser and Slicor.
Bowser- Mario…
Slicor Koopa- Marco…
Bowser- We had a hunch Kamek and Kaster wouldn't hold you guys for long.
Slicor Koopa- But we're not disappointed. After all, we still have a score to settle with you Mario Brothers.
Bowser- Obviously, sending lots of these minions doesn't seem to be doing the trick. But then again, there are more of you now.
Marco- Hey, I'll beat you as many times as it takes like I've always done! Even before I built my team and defeated Tabuu!
Slicor Koopa- Stubborn as always, I see, Marco.
Bowser- Yeah, he's definitely just as bad as Mario. I guess that explains where Mario got his stubbornness from in his family tree.
Mario- Well how about you stop running from us and end this now?
Bowser- If you insist…Koopalings, end this…NOW!
Then when Mario, Luigi, Marco, Loewy, and Starlow were halfway down the catwalk to where Bowser and Slicor were standing, Morton, Iggy, and Lemmy Koopa jumped in front of them and blocked their path.
Loewy- More of these Koopaling?
Luigi- We beat Wendy and Roy…then we beat Ludwig and Larry…now we have Morton, Iggy, and Lemmy.
Mario- Don't worry, because these are the last of the Koopalings.
Morton- So it's down to just us…
Iggy- Pfft. No problem!
Lemmy- Yeah, let me at'em!
Starlow- Let's just end this quickly so we can get that book back.
Marco- Agreed.
Then Marco tapped his sword slightly out of its sheath with his thumb pressed against the handle.
Morton- You don't scare us! Sure, you're Mario's legendary ancestor who defeated Tabuu, but I know you're really not that much different than Mario and Luigi.
Iggy- They're probably still tired after that fight against Kamek and Kaster!
Lemmy- So let's smash them while they're still tired! And I think I know just how to do so!
Then Lemmy just hops away all of a sudden.
Morton- Lemmy, where are you going? This is just getting started!
Starlow- Chickening out is he?
Then Marco felt a vibration in the floor.
Marco- I don't then that's it…
Then Lemmy returned while riding this giant ball that was much larger than the balls you normally see him trying to balance himself on.
Morton- What the hell?!
Iggy- Lemmy, what are you doing?!
Before Lemmy could answer, he accidently ran over Morton and Iggy while attempting to roll over Mario, Luigi, Marco, and Loewy. The Mario Brothers began running down the catwalk to try and get away, but Lemmy remained in hot pursuit.
Lemmy- You can't run forever!
Then Lemmy pulls out a Bob-bomb. But before he could throw it, Marco throws his sword at the Bob-Bomb and made it explode in Lemmy's face. This not only stopped the Bob-bomb, but also blew Lemmy off the giant ball and get rolled over by it as well. Lemmy rose back up, but his head was spinning like crazy and he was holding his head. Eventually, Iggy and Morton got back up and rushed up to Lemmy.
Iggy- Lemmy! That was…CRAZY!
Then Starlow flew up to Marco with his sword held in her teeth.
Starlow- You're lucky I caught your sword, Marco.
Marco took it back from Starlow.
Loewy- I can't believe you'd throw our father's sword like that! That actually was crazy, Marco!
Marco- Sorry! I just couldn't think of any other way to get out of that situation like that.
Iggy- My turn to follow up what Lemmy started!
Then Iggy whistled and a giant Chain Chomp rushed in.
Luigi and Loewy (at the same time)- Oh no!
Like with the giant ball Lemmy was riding, Mario, Luigi, Marco, and Loewy began running away from the large Chain Chomp.
Iggy- Hey, you can't run for this! Get back here and get eaten by that thing!
Iggy also began chasing them along with the Chain Chomp. However, Mario saw an opportunity to land a jump attack. Iggy stumbled backwards a bit and ended up getting hit by the Chain Chomp. This left Iggy just as dazed at Lemmy was.
Morton- What did you do to Iggy and Lemmy! I must avenge them!
Then Morton grabbed the chain of the Chain Chomp, spun it like how Mario spins Bowser when he grabs his tail, and threw the Chain Chomp at the Mario Brothers.
Mario- Marco, you might be needing this more than any of us!
Then Mario tosses Marco a mega-shroom. Marco quickly ate it and transformed into Giant Marco. Then Giant Marco swung his sword and knocked the Chain Chomp back at Morton, Iggy, and Lemmy, knocking all three of them out. Giant Marco returned to normal size shortly after that as he turned to face Bowser and Slicor.
Marco- Any more of your minions you'd like to send to waist our time or are you two retarded reptiles finally ready to face us?
Then both Bowser and Slicor approached the four Mario Brothers.
Slicor Koopa- You asked for it, Marco! It's your funeral!
Bowser- He's right! Now…you face double the might of the Koopa King!
Bowser and Slicor (at the same time)- GWAHAHAHAHAHA!
