Chapter .8.
Harry sighs when he arrived back at the Tents. That meeting at Gringotts had been interesting to say the least. He was now the Lord of 21 Houses. He had been surprised that his Dad didn't want to take Lordship but at the same time he also wasn't.
His Sage Serpent Seraph slithers up his arm hissing at him.
~Are you alright Master?~ she asks
~I will be fine. Just have a lot on my mind~ Harry hisses back
~When do I get to meet your nice mates?~ she hisses
Harry chuckles softly
~Soon Seraph. Soon~ he hisses back
He pats her, it was always calming to him, still thinking about things. Him being Ilvermorny's Champion. He was now the Lord of 21 House and basically the Head of House for his family.
"Son you will do a fine job", James tells his Son
"Really Dad? I know I have been trained for this and with my photographic memory it will be easier but do you truly not what to be a Lord?" Harry asks him
"Son I am too…damaged to be the Lord the House of Potter and the other Houses need. You will do fine. I will advice you and so will your Mother", James assures him.
"So will you and Mum be Proxies?" Harry asks
"We will. But only till your 17th Birthday", James tells him
"Have you talked to Sirius or Remus yet Dad?" Harry asks as he pats Seraph
"Not yet son", James says with a sigh sitting down
"Are you going to?" Harry asks curiously
"Not yet. As I have no clue what to say to them. As Sirius HAS tired to gain access to the Potter Vaults", James replies
Suddenly there was a knock on the tent door. A boy with red hair was standing their looking out off breath.
"George?" Harry asks knowing this teen wasn't his mate so it had to be George.
"How did you….?" George starts
"Doesn't matter. What is wrong?" Harry asks alarmed
"Hermione, Luna, Mandy and Katie have been attacked!" George tells him
"WHAT!?" Harry exclaims his magic flashing, Seraph hissed on him.
"They are in the Hospital Wing", George tells him
"Take me there", Harry demands
Harry quickly follows George. Vaguely aware that his Dad was following him after sending a Patronus to his Mum.
"Fred is with them. We didn't think you would like it if they were left alone even in the safety of the Hospital Wing. Blaise Zabini is also there. He found two of them", George tells him as they quickly walk.
"You would assure right. Nowhere is completely safe", Harry replies
Harry was furious whoever did this would pay. Those girls where special to him. Three where his betrothed and one had the potential to be his First Wife. As the Lady Potter has always been the one that the Potter Lord or Heir has fallen in love with. And he already liked Hermione. And knew she was his mate due to his Elven side. But he didn't want to spook her. Telling her he had 29 different Creature Inheritances. With some being he would turn into different beings such as a Dragon, Nine Tailed Fox, Bat, Phoenix, Harpy and Wolf. He didn't know if she would accept him like that.
As his Elven Inheritance would need him to claim her and make her immortal like all his other betrothed will have too be. He planned to have any family his girls or boys wanted turned as well his Grandfather had already agreed to it.
The problem now with his Elven side was it was going feral wanting to be with its mates and bring harm to those who hurt them. It was taking all his Occlumency skills to keep certain sides, especially his Elven side under control.
James followed his son. He wanted to see how Harry handled this. But he could feel Harry's creature inheritance going haywire. Especially his Elven side. James may be an Elf now. But he wasn't born one. So his instincts weren't nearly as strong as his children's or his Lily's. That's why he sent the Patronus too her. She might be needed to help Harry deal with his feral Elven side.
They arrive at the Hospital Wing not long later. All four girls where on different beds as an older woman was helping them. Harry saw Sirius Black and Remus Lupin also there. As was Fred, Padma and a Italian Teen.
They all turn feeling the sudden pulse of strong magic. They see Harry Potter walking quickly towards them with James trailing behind.
"What happened?" Harry demands
"Mr Potter don't get my patients worked up", Madam Pomfrey scolds
"Madam I need to know what happen. I mean them no harm. As Luna, Mandy and Katie are my betrothed it is well within my rights to ask what happened", Harry replies firmly
"We were attacked", Mandy says softly
"We are alright now", Luna adds
"What happened?" Harry asks
"I was on my way to find you when I felt pain and everything went dark. I was hit with a Teeth Growing Hex, a Stinging Hex and a stunning spell. Next thing I know Fred is over me", Hermione replies
"I was hit with a Boil Hex, a Stinging Hex and a Stunning Spell", Mandy tells him
Katie and Luna report the same.
"That is not all", Fred tells him darkly
"What?" Harry asks already furious
"Hermione had written on her arm 'Back of Mudblood'", Fred tells him
Harry growls, "Who?"
"There was an intention of poaching Harry", Padma tells her Betrothed and Ally.
"Who?" Harry asks again
"Cho Chang, Heiress of the Ancient House of Chang and Marietta Edgecombe of the Noble House of Edgecombe", Padma tells him
"From Gryffindor it was Ronald Weasley", Katie tells him, "He was jealous"
"They will be dealt with", Harry vows
"Harry you don't ne…", Sirius starts
Harry eyes him a dark glare shutting up the Grim Animagus immediately. He also shut up see a colour changing snake hissing at him from Harry's shoulder.
'How can a boy of 14 be THAT intimidating?' Sirius thinks
"Do these three or others bullying you?" Harry asks gently
"They just bully Hermione and Luna. Draco Malfoy of the Ancient House of Malfoy. Gregory Goyle of the Ancient House of Goyle. Vincent Crabbe of the Ancient House of Crabbe. Theodore Nott of the Ancient House of Nott. Pansy Parkinson of the Ancient and Noble House of Parkinson. Are some of the main offenders", the Italian Teen tells him, "I am Blaise Zabini by the way of the Ancient and Noble House of Zabini"
Harry looks at the Zabini Heir. He was one of the new Allies of the Shadow Phoenix Alliance. And he felt a jolt. It appeared that is Elven side had found another mate.
"Thank you for what you have done Heir Zabini", Harry says formally
"It is what allies do", Blaise replies
"Alright Hermione I would like to put you under House Protection. Fred and George I offer you the same", Harry tells them all, "As you three have no ties to my House you could use House Protection to your advantage. Mandy, Katie, Luna, Padma, Blaise are already Allies of House Potter. But I can also put you three under House Protection which will elevate you just above Ally Protection"
Sirius and Remus's eyes widen.
"You don't have the authority…", Sirius starts
"Mr Potter that is not necessary", Dumbledore says coming in with Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick.
Not far behind them was Lily Potter. She took in the seen and saw more of her sons Elven side coming out. She knew what that was like. She was frantic and partly feral when James was injured fighting Voldemort. She wouldn't step in her sons way yet. But if it did look like it was getting out of hand she might have to step in to calm the irate Elf down.
"I in fact do think it is necessary Lord Black and Headmaster Dumbledore. Please stay out of this as it is House Potter's business and its Lord and Head of House", Harry tells them
Those words shocked those who knew what he meant. Harry had just announced he was the Lord and Head of House Potter.
"How?" Dumbledore asks
"That is for me to know", Harry replies coldly
"It was just a little prank", Dumbledore tries again
Harry growls letting some of his Creature Inheritance out. Which coursed the Three Professors eyes too widen.
"A little prank? All these girls were stunned and left in corridors alone. Unconscious. In no position to defend themselves. What is someone with less then honourable intentions found them?" Harry asks them
All but Dumbledore looked sick just thinking about what could of happened to these witches.
"What does House Protection mean?" Hermione asks
"It means I would fight for you and defend you if need be. With my House Protection here in the UK it will offer up job opportunities that would otherwise be closed to you. If anyone attacks you it is an attack against me and my house. Also if you agree to House Protection it will automatically include your parents. House Potter can do a Duel of Honour or a Duel of Satisfaction or even Duels of till the Death for you in your defence. They can also issue Blood feuds to those who have wronged you. I will fight battles for you and with you and defend your verbally or physically to any who hurt you", Harry informs her
The Professors, Sirius, Remus and Dumbledore were shocked that Harry knew all about all this. He was only 14! And how could James and Lily allow Harry to take on Lordship? Why wasn't James taking it?
Hermione bites her lip. Those reasons sounded good. Her parents would even be protected!
"Can I have a book on it?" Hermione asks
Harry smiles warmly at her.
"Of course. I will have it for you as soon as possible", Harry promises.
"Thanks", Hermione says blushing.
"What do you say girls? Fred and George? To my offer?" Harry asks
"Boys you should ask your M…", Dumbledore starts
"We will take it", the twins declare
"So will I", Blaise declares
"I will too", Katie says
"I will", Mandy states
"And me", Padma declares
"I will accept it", Luna says
"I will too", Hermione decides.
"Miss Lovegood, Miss Bell, Miss Patil, Miss Brocklehurst, Mr Zabini, Messer's Weasley and you too Miss Granger should ask your parents about this", Dumbledore tries to discourage them.
"My Daddy trusts my judgement. Anyway I am Lord Potter's betrothed", Luna tells them
"Same with me", Padma replies
"And me as Lord Potter is my betrothed as well", Katie declares
"And me. I am betrothed to Lord Potter too", Mandy tells them
"My Mum would agree with my decision", Blaise tells them
"We don't care…"
"…what our parents…"
"…think this is…"
"…our decision", the twins declare
"My parents our No-Maj and they will understand once I explain it to them", Hermione tells them
"No-Maj?" Dumbledore asks confused
"It is the American term for Muggle-Born. As we find the word Muggle offence", James tells them
"Back to protection. Girls, Blaise, Fred and George take out your wands", Harry instructs them
They do what he says and he gives them instructions before he begins.
"I Lord Harry James Potter, Lord of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter. Open my hearth, and protection, offer the House of Potters Protection and Wands to Mr Frederick Weasley, Mr George Weasley, Heir Blaise Zabini, Heiress Luna Lovegood, Miss Padma Patil, Miss Katherine Bell, Miss Mandy Brocklehurst, and Miss Hermione Granger. Until such time that I of my own freewill close protection", Harry booms, "Do you all accept this off?", his wand glowing
"I Frederick Weasley accept House Potters protection and wands", Fred says as his wand glows.
Each off them repeat the oath.
"I Hermione Granger accept House Potters protection and wands", Hermione says clearly
"Then I take you all under my Protection. So I say so smote it be!" Harry booms
A band of silver lights shoots out of Harry's wand and wraps around the 8 teens. And the crest of the House of Potter appears on their robes.
"Welcome to House Potter", Harry tells them smiling
Harry then turns to the Professors and the Headmaster.
"I would like to administer punishment to those who have dared harm those under House Protection", Harry declares
"I am sure that is not necessary Harry. Anyway they weren't under House Protection when they were attacked", Dumbledore tells him
Sirius and Remus wince at how familiar Dumbledore was being with Harry. They knew Harry was currently in a Lord persona. So Dumbledore and others should address his as Lord Potter. And this was House business something Dumbledore shouldn't be messing with. And it was just technicalities about when the girls where put under protection. Since all of them were betrothed to Harry they already were under his protection. And Miss Granger had the interest of Harry so she was technically already under his protection.
"I remind you again Headmaster this is House Potter business. I WILL speak with the offenders as it is my right", Harry says leaking power into his voice.
"I will get Mr Weasley", Professor McGonagall says stiffly
"I will get Miss Chang and Miss Edgecombe", Professor Flitwick says
They were both, along with Sirius and Remus, seeing what James told them. That his son didn't like bullies. They didn't believe it when he told them. But now they saw the truth.
They just hoped that Lord Harry Potter would not be too harsh on the Mr Weasley, Miss Chang and Miss Edgecombe.
McGonagall and Flitwick were already planning their own punishment for the three. But they knew that Dumbledore would overrule their idea of punishments.
So maybe it was best to leave it to the Potter Lord.
Another question came to them.
Just how was Harry Potter the Potter Lord?
And what did that mean?
