Author's note:

I've already planned what would the storytelling will be. I'll try my best to keep balance the storytelling between the animatronics and the boys.

Chapter 6

The Fortune Teller

Jeremy is cycling his way back home, thinking what Jack had meant while talking to him. What do I know about Houser? , he thought to himself, as the sun reached the top, waves of heat started getting hotter, Jeremy needs to get home quick before he sweated himself and troubled his parents.

As for Jack, he regretted for asking that question, yeah, he shouldn't have. Ugh, stupid me. Of course that would be insulting Houser. What was i thinking. *sigh*. Jack sighed, he grabbed his bike and went home.

Meanwhile, at the Pizzeria...

The main room was filled with joy and fun, it was the kids, they're watching Freddy and his gang performing, some sing along, some screaming out "FREDDY I LOVE YOU!!!", some eating pizza, and some just stand there and watch. On the other side of the room, there was another stage, it was the Toys who are performing also, musics and applauding can be heard from outside. The place was a big and wide building, and a child could easily get lost and disappear. At least that's what a girl had thought, a girl who doesn't get attracted by the rhythmic melody, the girl who doesn't drawn to the tempting smell of pizza, she doesn't care about the Pizzeria reputation, the only thing she cared was the mysteries of the missing children in this Pizzeria.

I've been gathering information from the people around here and on the Internet. Hmm, what am I missing here. The girl thought to herself as she was walking down the main hall. There are posters hanging on the wall, the face's of the animatronics creeped her out, it makes her remembered what happened in The Accident. Yes, the girl knows, and even if she explained to anyone, they'll just chuckle and shoo her away from the scene, nobody believed her, because they thought it was just an accident. She could see the face of the animatronic that bit the little boy's head, but as she grows up, memories began to fade. She tried to remember, but the only thing she remembered was the one that bit the boy, was a yellow bear.

In front of her was a door leads to Parts Services, she never know what's behind that door. People said it was a room for old, broken or out of order animatronics. But none of the animatronics have been put inside this room, right? As she was standing in front of it, she could feel something inside, waiting for her to be revealed, a small pieces of proof, a small pieces of the past. She wanted to check inside so bad, but there's a day guard that always checking the area, she could feel it, and he's watching here right now, up in the corner. *sigh* , I have to think a way to sneak in without getting caught... The girl thought, before she turned around, there's a sound of clanking metal behind the door. The sudden sound jumped the girl, but it left her with a smile too. I will find a way to prove this. You'll see... After the thought, the girl leaves the main hall and back to the party room.

2:00 PM...

Jeremy, now inside his room, lying on his bed. He's still thinking about the question that Jack had asked him. He doubted that he knows everything about Houser, he doubted that he can help Houser with physical activities, he doubted that he is Houser's best and only friend. What did Jack meant by that? What did I missed from Houser?, Jeremy thought, he turned facing the wall. He's my best friend, he told me everything about him, his family, his grades, his hobby, his favourite colour, food, drinks... Heck! He had told me everything about his life! Jeremy turned facing the window. And what didn't he tell me? Jeremy looked at the window, the hot scorching sunlight before reaching his bed was blocked by the curtain, this however made Jeremy realized something. Houser's bedroom window! He didn't close and locked it before going to bed, was he didn't scared of thieves? A thought flickered inside Jeremy's mind. No, there haven't any thieves since. But he had kept that window open every night, every week, every month, every year... And the darl circles under his eyes as well! Why didn't I asked him about that? Isn't it obvious now? Jeremy said as he sits up. He was going leave the room, but just right before he open his bedroom door, a sound of a desk lamp flickered, a switching sound between On and Off. It was his desk lamp, Jeremy jumped, he turned around, nothing, everything was normal. "What the hell...?", Jeremy muttered, "Must I've been my imagination.", before leaving his room.

Houser is still at the library, he has been using the computer for five hours now, it should be bad for his eyes, but the fact that he had stayed up at night for almost six years straight wouldn't even effect his eyes, cause he is used to it. Next to the computer was a notebook, a few pages have been written, sketched, calculated, lots of studies. Did he even go to the bathroom? Well he brought himself a lunch box as he told his aunt that he'll go home before 5:00 PM. As Houser was doing research, a person walked closer to him. "Huh?", Houser muttered, besides him was an old lady, she wears a pair of goldish aviator glasses, she has grey shoulder-length hair, she's wearing a reddish blouses with horizontal white stripes, a dark cyan trumpet skirt with a pair of white wedge.

"Didn't your mom told you not to littering the environment?", the lady said in a granny tone.

Houser's jumped a bit, he looked at the lady, it was the librarian. "O-oh! Miss Rudy, I-I'm sorry b-but, didn't I told you that my mom is gone?", Houser asked.

"Oh! Forgive me Houser, this old lady here had hard time remembering things. I'm sorry.", Rudy said.

"I-It's ok, I'll put the trash away now.", Houser said, as he put all the trash in the plastic and went for a bin to put it.

While Houser was putting away the trash, Rudy took a glance of what Houser was writing in the notebook. Hmm, psychology, sleep paralysis, hallucinations, anxiety, what the... Why would Houser searching for this? Rudy thought, she's right, why would a 12 years old boy looking for something that dark and complicated on the Internet? Well, isn't Houser a strange kid? Houser is back from putting the trash away and he's going to continue doing researches. Before he could use the computer, Ruby interfered, "Hey Houser, shall we talk for some moments?" "B-but, aren't you gonna do your work?", Houser nervously said. "It's alright, my partner will handle the work.", Rudy calmly said. "O-ok."

7:30 PM

It's evening and that's mean the festival has already started! Jack and his brother, Josh, were having fun at the festival. The place looked like a small amusement park, it has a carousel, it has an inflatable castle, it has children rollercoaster, it has mini games, fun house, ect... The festival occurred every few weeks, as for the people to have some fun and relaxation. This helped Jack too, it helped him a lot, not just because it makes him feels better, it's because it makes him feels happy. He felt happy after every festival, at one time, he had so much fun with his family that those things didn't disturb him from his sleep. So yeah, that's why Jack liked festival so much. Now, Jack is having some snack, while Josh and his gang were chit chatting on the other side. The gang noticed Jack, they saw him eating hotdog.

"Hey kid! Why so gloomy?", one of John's friend asked.

"Huh?", Jack said, he was thinking about something, "N-no I'm not."

"Why don't you go play? It's still early.", another one said.

"It's ok, I'm tired now.", it's has only been an hour an a half, normally, Jack wouldn't be tired. Jack is tired because he couldn't have proper sleep from them.

"Tired? Man that's sucks.", one said, "Have you checked The Fortune Lady?".

"Fortune... what?", Jack asked confusedly. He sure didn't that he didn't miss anything in this festival.

"She has just moved in this town and is in the festival right now. You should go and check, maybe she can help you with your... crybaby attitude!", one said with a smirk on his face. "Hahaha!!", and they all laughed, his brother, laughed too.

sigh* Why did I even talk to them anways?, Jack thought, I'm such an idiot. He has lost interest in eating the hotdog now, the boys are still laughing, mocking him, ridicule him. Jack doesn't care anyways. As for his brother, he stopped laughing and told Jack to follow him.

"Hey, don't care about them, they're just kidding.", Michael said.

"I didn't! I'm fine with the mocking.", Jack said disturbedly. "And since when you cared about me anyways?".

Michael went silent, Jack was right, he had treated Jack like nothing but bullying. All this time, Michael hasn't been a good brother, Michael hasn't been helping his bro, he too, noticed the dark circles under Jack's eyes, he too, worried. But if he could care for his brother, he would have done that a long time ago, but something stopped him with from caring Jack. Something that Michael couldn't tell Jack, something Jack has forgotten in the past.

"You should listen to them.", Michael said as he takes some money in his pocket, "Here, take this money."

Jack looks at the money his brother is holding, narrowed his eyebrows, said, "Oh, so you think I'm a crybaby too? Do you even know what I've been through?".

"N-No, I mean you should check out that lady, not that I agreed them...".

"Ugh, fine.", Jack said as he took Michael's money. "Don't you ever call me that again.".

"Yeah! Ok! Whatever suits you man!", Michael said, before went back to his friends.

What is wrong with him today? Jack thought, hand holding the money Michael gave, he's looking for The Fortune Lady. Houser and now my bro? People are going crazy right now. He thought again, giving out a smirk. He still suspecting Houser, he still investigating Houser. He doubted that this Fortune Lady, or whatever she's called, can see what is happening to him, he doubted that she could understand what he had felt, he doubted that she is a fortune teller.

Welp, guess this is the place. Jack stopped, in front of him was a big circus like tent, it has purple and white striped along with some Christmas like LED wires goes on top of the tent, flickering in a patterned way. On top of the entrance, a sign that said "The Fortune Lady". Jack looked besides him, another sign said "Come and let the Fortune Lady sees through your past, future and memories!". Seems legit. Jack thought, giving out another smirk again. Well at least it's not my money. After the thought, Jack finally goes inside.

Inside, a table with a spherical orb shining on it, emitting a dim light. Heh, nice one. But you can't fool me. Jack thought. He looked around the room again and notice that all though from the outside, the tent looked not that big, the space inside is as big as his room! What's this, optical illusion? As he stopped in front of the table, a silhouette can be seen on the what called bed in front of him, sitting, waiting for him to sit down.

"Uh, hello? I can see you there.", Jack said, he's doubting.

"Ah! Guest! Welcome!", a female voice appeared. The silhouette started to stand up and walk closer to him.

"Umm, I've come to see my... future?", Jack said nervously, still doubting.

"Ah yes, darling! For I, the Fortune Lady with see through your mind and predicts what the future will be.", the woman said confidently.

She sits down. In front of Jack, he can make up what the lady looked like, head wears a small red hood over her head with strange looking necklaces. The clothes she wears has patterned beads all over the red frabics, two big hoop earrings, a small red Bindi on her forehead. Mystical eyes with hypnotizing smile, the lady really is looked like she's a professional scammer. Heh. Jack laughed in his mind, he won't be fooled that easily. But if she is a fortune teller, can she see his forgotten memory?

"Show me.", Jack said.

"Hm?", the woman calmly asked.

"Show me, if you're really is a real fortune teller. Show me, if you can see my past like the sign had said.", Jack said, hoping that the lady could see it, help him remembered it.

"Very well.", she said. "Now, put your hands on the orb.".

Jack listened, he put his hands on the orb. The lady, also out her hands on the orb, and started mumbling something in her mouth.

"Our mind a sea, one and another

For our thought be shared to each other's

As I journey through the farest part

Let the forgotten past shall be remembered!"

Huh, what a weird spell. I wond-.Before Jack can finish his thought, he has fallen into a puddle. The fall wasn't that hurt, Jack stands up, almost all of his clothes were wet, he looked around. Jack eyes widened, What the f-? Where the hell am I? Around him was nothing but an endless sea, stretched all the way to the horizon. The sea, seemed reflecting a golden color, a familiar color. He looks up the sky, the sky is golden too, it's the one that made the sea reflected that golden color, a familiar color. As soon as Jack makes a step, he noticed a thing a stands in front of him. The thing stands a few meters (feet) from him, and then, it started walking, slowly, moving forward to Jack. Jack startled, he tried to step back, but he couldn't. As it walked closer, he could see the thing, it, it looked like a bear, a golden bear. I-I can't move! Jack thought, he's shaking, he's scared, he's frightened. The bear, it also looked like an animatronic, it wears a small purple top hat with also an purple bowtie under its head. Its eyes were dark, empty, like there's nothing inside. "S-stay away!", Jack said abruptly. As the animatronic bear comes closer, Jack tried his best to move, but he couldn't, his legs were stuck. And then, it stopped right in front of him, staring him with its emptiness eyes. Jack, scared for his life, his breath becomes harder, heavier, before he fell into the golden sea, falling into a dark, deep, empty, bottomless void.

"Ahhh!!!...", Jack scream for his life, before returning to reality.

"Well that was an interesting trip. How do you feel dear?", the woman asked.

Jack, still breathing heavily, what he had experienced was so real. "W-what the fuck was that?!".

"Language dear! Anyways, what you've seen was your forgotten memory, darling."

"M-my what?!".

"Your forgotten memory. You said that you wanted me to look through your past right?"

"B-but... What was that... thing?".

"Your forgotten memory. When you wanted to remember something that you have forgotten in your past, it'll show you what symbolised the forgotten memory, not all of it. Well, what did you see, dear?".

"I...I...It was a bear? A golden bear?".

"Golden bear? Well that's just weird, darling."

"N-no, it felt so real!", Jack said, then he looked at the woman, narrowed his eyes, "Who the hell are you...?".

The woman chuckles, "I am a fortune teller. You can call me Quinn if you want.".

"Ok, Quinn.", said Jack. "How did you even do that?".

"Like I said, I'm a fortune teller."

"B-but I thought fortune teller things were just some jokes and scams!".

"Those fortune tellers you talked about were the fake one, dear. I am a real one."

Can Quinn get rid of them? Jack thought for a moment, before said, "Huh. Can I get to see you again? I want to remember my past again."

"Very well.", Quinn said as she went to open a small treasure looking box, and gives Jack her visiting card. "Here, take this.".

Jack took the card and looked at it. "O-oh. You've got your own place already? I thought you've just moved in this town.".

"Well I've rent a place for my work a few days ago and the place was already ready for business. It was not that hard packing all that stuff. You can visit tomorrow, I'll be here only on festival days."

"O-ok, thanks.", Jack said as he stands up. "I'll come back later.", and leave the room.

"Sure darling! Anytime you want!".

For Quinn, she thinks Jack has something special inside him, as well as the golden bear thing that he had described to her. Hm, this boy is interesting. Quinn thought, not knowing that he has those things that haunted him at night yet.

As for Jack, what he had experienced was nothing he has experienced before. All of the feelings were real, the fall was real, the water was real, the sky was real, the golden bear, was real.

"Hey darling! You didn't pay for your request!".

"Tomorrow is another day."

Things are getting more interesting now right? Quinn wasn't a normal fortune teller.
