Chapter 10.5
The Presence
"So?", a voice spoke, sounded a lot like the golden bear when he (it) last met Jack and Quinn. The golden bear turned to look at who asked him. "How did it turn out?".
The bear gave a chuckle. "Heh, I scared the hell out of him. But I must say, that lady, Quinn, is a true witch. Very magical. You should've replace me for that Nightmare Freddy."
"Why though? It don't think I can handle that.", the voice spoke again, whose presumed as Nightmare Freddy.
"Why not? They're just humans. Weak and pathetic.", the golden bear said.
"There was a witch! You know how dangerous are witches to us, Nightmare Fredbear!", Nightmare Freddy reasoned.
"No.", Nightmare Fredbear said. "In modern time like this, witches are no more, but lynched. We should not be worried about her."
"But you retreat-"
"Because there was something interupted the room.", Nightmare Fredbear interupted in, stopped Nightmare Freddy from finishing the sentence.
Nightmare Freddy stays silent for a second, before asking, "What do you mean...? There was something else in the room?".
Nightmare Fredbear stares into the void, pitch black and emptiness void. Something was there. A presence nearby. N-Fredbear could feel it, and it was something he have never felt before. It's not another Nightmare, nor a ghost, nor spirits. It was something mysterious. Something that frightened him.
"Yes. And it is not what we should subjective about." N-Fredbear said.
"Why? Is it dangerous?", N-Freddy asked, somewhat worried.
"Is it dangerous?"
N-Fredbear didn't even know. He haven't seen another dead presence for a while, not long ago. No, is this thing even a living thing? To have such a presence that could be felt by N-Fredbear? If so, that presence has to very 'attractive' so that N-Fredbear himself can feel. It is not something ordinary. It is something that N-Fredbear should be worried about.
"I think so.". N-Fredbear turned to look at N-Fredbear.
That wind, it didn't come from Quinn. How could the candles tuned off? N-Fredbear mumbled anxiously. Dead beings can't effect the Overworld, unless they showed themselves visibly to the Overworld. This is the knowledge that every ghost and spirits acknowledged when dead, even N-Fredbear himself.
From N-Freddy's perspective, this also made him concerned as well. Since his leader, N-Fredbear, even got anxious about it, he can't hold back but worried too. But he wasn't there to feel the presence, he doesn't know if what N-Fredbear have experienced was true. Does he have to feel it himself? Feel the presence? Even as a Nightmare, and a deputy leader, N-Freddy doesn't even sure that he can lead the other three.
As N-Freddy is thinking, N-Fredbear put his hand onto N-Freddy's shoulder, giving him a trustful eyes. "No, I don't think it is worth thinking about."
He smiled.
What a relief, wasn't it? N-Freddy thought so.
But he didn't.
Something is definitely not right here. And he will see it himself.
Find that presence.
"I felt a presence, and by feeling it, I felt myself."
