Amy wrestled with her restraints to get a hairpin from the updo she had in but the door opened and she dropped her hands into her lap.
"So, Nick," she said, a playful grin on her face, "is your name pronounced Fury? Or Furry?"
He didn't answer, instead sitting across from her and glancing down at his tablet. "Did you alter the supposed security videos of Stane?"
"No," Amy replied truthfully.
He stared, unbelieveing, "but you do posses the technology and skills to do so?"
Amy fitted the hairpin into the lock on her cuffs and started picking them, "yes?" She answered, looking at him suspiciously, "but even so, you're trusting Stane? What would I gain from lying to you?"
"Well, for starters, your father's company." He responded, "and his story is much more believable."
Amy made a face, "what?! No it's not!"
Fury raised an eyebrow, "Would you believe me if I told you a family friend that I've known for years betrayed me and attempted murder?"
Amy pretended to think, "um, yes? You're a secret agent dude, that happens to you constantly."
He rolled his eye, "I meant- ...nevermind."
"He wants the company!" Amy protested, "he's trying to take out Tony's only heir. Me!"
Fury looked intrigued, "you call him Tony, not Dad. Why?"
"Because he's the worst father on the planet." Amy said, "but that's irrelevant to-"
"No, actually, it's not. It further proves Stane's story."
Amy's eyes went wide, "you think I wanted him gone? I mean I do... But I had nothing to do with his disspearence!"
"The fact that you're even suggesting it is suspicious enough." Fury said, truely convinced she was the culprit.
"But I'm innocent!" Amy insisted, furthering his suspicions. He got up and went to the door, barking out orders.
"No, no, no, wait!" Amy said, trying to pull away as they pulled her up out of her chair.
"She's not cuffed!" Came a shout and Amy bashed her handcuffs against the side of the soldier's head. She ran as fast as her small legs could take her but didn't make it far before she was lost all over again. Amy turned a full circle wondering why they didn't have exit signs. She bumped into an agent and turned to run again but he took her wrist in his hand.
"Hey," he said, crouching to her eye level, "I'm Agent Coulson, we're not going to hurt you."
"Yes, but I'll hurt you." She responded quickly and he didn't have time to react before she punched him in the face.
"She's stronger than she looks!" The man named Agent shouted, more S.H.I.E.L.D soldiers running up on either side of her. "No!" She screamed, running faster, her bare feet stinging against cool metal flooring.
An agent came up beside her and grabbed onto her waist, pulling her down. She kicked and screamed but they jabbed a sedative into her arm and she passed out.
