Chapter Nine
"Does the Minister really think Sirius Black was the one who burnt down Diagon Alley" Chichi asked "I thought he was supposed to still be in Azkaban"
"Maybe he escaped again" Daphne Greengrass speculated "but who knows with this moronic minister"
The two Slytherin witches noticed Harry and Myrtle walked into the class Daphne sighed before standing up from her seat and walked over to the black haired Gryffindor
"Potter" she greeted politely Harry nodded like Chichi he really didn't have an issue with the blonde Slytherin well she was going to end up being related to Malfoy by marriage but that wasn't really her fault
"Yeah Greengrass"
"Your one of the top students at Defense against the dark arts I want to get a decent grade on my OWLs and I was hoping you'd be interested in tutoring"
Harry thought about it "ok I'll tutor you but I want something in exchange"
Daphne nodded "fair enough what do you want tutoring pocket money for Hogsmeade a date" Daphne suggested Myrtle frowned at the last suggestion
"Tutoring but not for me for Goku your good at charms help him with his OWL and I'll help you" Harry held out a hand "deal"
Daphne nodded "sure whether Astoria wants to admit it or not you and your brother saved her life it's the least I can do" Daphne and Harry shook hands just as Professor Jordan walked in
"Ten points to Gryffindor and Slytherin for showing interhouse cooperation" he said "but now let's get down to business" he said "this is your owl year and if you thought the previous years were tough well you haven't seen anything yet"
Harry Daphne and Myrtle sat down and listened to Professor Jordan begin his lecture on Locking Seals because like he said this was going to be one of their toughest years
After classes were over Harry groaned almost passing out on the couch in the common room Ron in a chair by the fireplace "I'm so tired"
Hermione sighed with a smile on her face "you boys are being overdramatic" she said with a grin "honestly I expected the workload to be tougher than this" Harry and Ron rolled their eyes good naturedly
"no offense Hermione but we're not all workaholics like you" Ron said Harry looked up as Goku came in some chicken grease from dinner still on the corner of his mouth
"Goku I found someone to tutor you for Charms" Harry said Goku looked up "oh thanks Harry" his brother said with a smile "the sooner I'm done with OWLS the sooner I'm done with Umbridge"
Hermione slapped her hand against the floor with a growl "why didn't I think of that" Hermione said standing up she began to pace muttering about people the three boys two humans and a Saiyan
watched confused "what are you talking about Hermione" Goku asked
"Your OWL''s when your done with them you'll have a complete theoretical education" Hermione said Ron and Harry nodded "you'll be out from under the thumb of that disgusting piece of legislation" Hermione said with a grin
"Well yeah but what about NEWT's" Ron asked "doesn't he still need those" Hermione shook his head "Goku doesn't have magic so a NEWT won't help him with career options" Harry nodded "that's a good point Hermione
but what's your idea"
"Actually it was your idea Harry we offer you as a tutor for defense to students in exchange for tutoring Goku" Harry frowned a little "Hermione I'm not that great at defense"
At this Ron and Goku laughed "right and I don't have a tail" Goku said wagging his tail under Harry's nose just to prove his point making Harry sneeze Ron and Hermione laughed Goku got up and stood in front of Harry
"Look Harry your a wizard and a pretty good one my special skills just involve punching people you got to believe in yourself before you can teach someone else"
Harry looked between Ron Hermione and Goku he was silent for nearly an entire minute before he nodded "all right I'll do it" Harry said before looking to Goku "but your helping with physical defense" pointing at his brothers chest
"Deal" Goku said shaking his brothers hand Harry looked to Hermione "so who are we asking for what subject"
Hermione sat down pulling a notebook and a quill out of her bag and began writing down potential names "give me until the next Hogsmeade weekend and I'll have it sorted out"
Later that night Harry tossed and turned in his sleep having a bad dream Harry was walking down the hallway of a some kind of all metal building Harry looked out the window and saw the Earth rotating through the vast blackness of space "oh my god" Harry thought before he continued through the hallway into some kind of meeting room
"I must say Lord Marvel" a short white alien said with purple gems growing from the top of his head where hair normally would be "I'm not used to waiting this long for something I desire" the alien smacked his tail against the floor leaving a indent in the shape of his tail "it is quite frustrating" he said to the other figure in the room one that Harry recognized on sight
Tom Marvallo Riddle or as he calls himself now Lord Marvel Marvel bowed his head complacently "I can assure you Lord Frieza soon you will have all that you desire and the universe will tremble at the meer mention of our names for all of time" he said with a smooth almost snake like voice "the ultimate prize immortality"
Harry's eyes widened Frieza the alien warlord who wiped out Goku's home world in fear of the super saiyan a fear that ironically came true in Harry's brother
"Yes and what about that other associate of yours Madara what is he up to"
Marvel turned away from Frieza looking to an window with a view of the earth "Madara has his own ambitions one that he plans to seek out independently of us" Frieza frowned "and will this independence be a problem"
Marvel shook his head "quite the opposite right now his goals coincide very well with our own it will happen soon enough I suppose for now we should sit back and enjoy the fireworks as it were"
Frieza smirked "that sounds delightful"
Harry's eyes flew open as he rose to a sitting position his breathing heavily Ron was by his side in seconds there really might be something to this manslayer training he did "Harry what's wrong" Ron whispered
"Madara" Harry whispered "he's going to make a move"
