So this is something short that I wrote.

Oneshot after Nightshade. The avent while Freddy and Sofia are still in the hospital after a while. Sofia didn't remember her mother but she calls her that.

I sincerely hope that Freddy, Sofia and Alex will become a good trio because they are different from everyone after all and need friends who will understand them. Maybe one day Alex and Sofia will become a couple ... we'll leave it to Anthony Horowitiz. But that would be so cool. Imagine Freddy falling in love with Sabrina when he meets her one day and Alex with Sofia. Like

"Mate, she's my sister"

"So is Sabrina mine."

"They adopted you, you are not quite brother and sister"

"And they kidnaped you two, so nither are you brother and sister"

"Okay, I'll ask Sabrina out, you ask Sofia. But if she punchs yoz in the face, it's not my problem"

"You know I taught Sabrina self defence... in assassan style, right?"

Knoc, knoc

There was a knock on the door of the hospital room. The girl looked up from the book she was reading on her bed and called

"It's open"

The blond boy gently opened the door, sticking his head inside. The girl laughed lightly at his politeness. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable

"Can I come in?"

"Sure," the girl replied, moving a lock of her wavy hair from her face. She pointed to the edge of the bed to sit down and the boy quickly accepted the offer. The boy stared at her for a moment and nodded slightly

"Hey, Sofia," he said uncertainly.

"Who's Sofia?" The girl asked with a confused expression on her face "I'm Number Six"

Boy's fists clenched in case she attacked him. Every muscle in him was tense and ready.

Then the sound of laughter spread through room. It wasn't a 'villian' laught. It was a laughing of playful teenager

"Sorry, I couldn't resist. You should have seen your face," she said, wiping a tear from her laugh with her sleeve. The boy exhaled relaxing his muscles "Anyway, it's good to see... Alex, wasn't it?"

Alex nodded slightly confused

"How do you know my name?" The girl grined

"Once a spy, always a spy?"

"What can I say?" he held out his hand, "Rider, Alex Rider. Crime and Spies doesn't take a vacation," the girl rolled her eyes, smiling.

"Well, if you decide to leave the world of espionage you can always go to audiction for the next James Bond." The girl sighed "Freddy and I have spent a lot of time together since we've been here. He talks a lot about you. Maybe he doesn't show it, but you mean a lot to him. He needs a friend. My... mother also visited. She told me a lot about you. That you went to Gibratal to get information to help me. Thank you for that, "she said sincerely. Then there was a serious silence between them. Alex shrugged and said

"What is James Bond without a pretty girl to save" Sofia rolled her eyes

"But you joined Nightshade because of Freddy. He's a handsome boy." she was joking. Alex looked at her in astonishment. The girl knew how to play

"I'm sorry darling, but I don't swing that way. Anyway, I came to ask you i-"

Then Freddy burst into the room.

"Oh c'mon man. You could propose her and not ask her to come watch the movie in our room," he told Alex

"Our room?" Sofia asked strangely.

"He didn't tell you," Freddy asked. Then he turned to Alex "What have you been talking about for five minutes?"

Alex didn't have time to answer because Sofia interrupted him

"About Alex's sexual orientation" If he had water in his mouth, Alex would probably throw it out his nose. He turned to freddy and waved with hands

"It's nothing to-"

"- you know what. I really don't wanna know. " Freddy said

"There's nothing to know"

"Mhhm" he looked at Alex in amusement, then turned to sofia "So, after days and days of persuading every form of authority, we have succeeded"

"Succeeded what?" She asked

"Alex is allowed to sleep here. We'll watch a movie and so on ...if you want to come-"

"Sure," she said, seducing the book and taking her slippers. She picked up the blankets and pillows from the bed and headed for Freddy's room. The boys took the mattress to move it to Freddy's room. The guard in the hallway gave them a confused look as the two boys carried the mattress between them

"A little help, mate?" The blonde asked

About 10 minutes later, three mattresses were laid on the floor, covered with a layer of blankets and pillows, with lots of snacks, three packets of popcorn and coca cola. Alex set in the middle leaning his back against the wall on the pillow, and his example was followed by Sofia on the left and Freddy on the right. When they settled in, they turned on the projector, darkened the room, and stared at the circle that was loading on the white wall. Sofia glared at Alex and asked

"What movie are we watching? Wait, let me guess. Call me by your name?"

"Avengers Marathon" Alex laughed as he turned to face the screen.

After many, many movies, popcorn, unhealthy juices, talking about all sorts of topics and another end of the movie Freddy commented

"This new character, Peter Parker, doesn't make sense."

"What do you mean?" Sofia asked. Alex raised a hand to stop him

"Let me guess. Since he was bitten by a spider he needed to grow eight more legs?"

"Yes," Freddy declared. "See. He agrees with me"

"Idiots," Sofia muttered.

"I don't agree, but one friend of mine would agree"

"Okay, back to the movies. It's only 3.30am," Sofia said turning on the new movie.

Around 10.30 in the morning, someone knocked nervously on the door of Freddy's room.

Sofia wasn't in her room.

Alex needed to be home by 9.30.

And the Freddy's parenrs came to visit their son as they do every day.

Four worried adults, Jack, Tulip Jones and Freddy's parents opened the door and huddled through the frame of the door.

Then they saw Freddie on the floor sleeping with his head resting on Alex's shoulder.

Alex rested his head on Freddy's head still sitting properly enough for Sofia to lean on his left shoulder.

They were all tucked into a blanket and surrounded by empty paper wrappers, cans of juice, scattered popcorn while a movie was lit on the screen, which they fell asleep watching.

The adults exchanged glances and left the room. They decided to leave the three of them to enjoy.

All three of them desperately needed a family which'd understand them, so they made one for eachothers.
