(A/N: Here's the second chapter! Enjoy!)
Chapter Two
"Beware! Never desire a woman. I can see that you are a cold hearted man. However, even men, such as yourself, desire the warmth of a woman. But I shall warn you…! Don't fall for a woman! You must never fall in love! For if you do, you would die a horrible death of a heartbroken man!"
Sasuke almost scoffed.
Was that supposed to be a prophecy or a curse?
Either way it didn't matter to him. Women never interested him in the first place. Sure, he would admit that there are some fairly attractive women back home, but a pretty face and shallow intentions is all they had going for them.
He wasn't worried about his 'fate' because it was preposterous. Absurd. Utterly ridiculous.
All he got was an annoyed headache, and he wanted to kick the guy who brought him here, telling him he needed to relax and cut loose a little after a big battle.
He was perfectly happy taking a leisure walk, and minding his own business. He doesn't need to socialize. And he doesn't need a woman!
The fortune teller's words were nothing more than senseless drivel.
The one thing Sasuke was absolutely sure of in life is that he would never fall in love.
