Three days after the Fourth of July now for any of my readers outside of the United States this information has no point and I'm just talking about a holiday after it happened to pad out the word count

You would not be completely wrong but there is usually a method to my madness

Goku and the Tome of Piccolo

Members of the order cast spell after spell at Madara a blue aura around himself protecting himself from the continuous bombardment of spell fire the old man yawned "I expected a better dance from you wizards" Madara said tiredly before perking up

"Perhaps if I do this" Madara said dropping his shield he rushed forward through the spells leaping at Sirius he threw a kick towards the dog animagus's head Sirius raised his arm to block the sound of snapping bones could be heard as Sirius let out a howl of pain

"Sirius" James and Fasha yelled James turned towards Madara anger in his eyes

"Roar of the lion" James called firing a massive red Ki blast while Lily matched it with her own Madara turned in time for the Ki blasts to hit him head on while Fasha flew towards Sirius grabbing him

"Are you all right" she asked Sirius laughed weakly

"What this" Sirius said gesturing to his broken arm "come on Fasha it would take more than that to Siriusly injure me" he said laughing stronger

Fasha let out a short laugh before rolling her eyes "you goof" she said helping him stand looking at him "get out of here Sirius I'm going to end this"

Fasha flew through the air towards Madara another Akatsuki member tried to get in her way only to be punched in the stomach and sent flying crashing into a ball ki filled Fasha's hands as she threw them forward aiming for Madara's head

"DIE MADARA" Fasha yelled angrily her eyes flashing teal for a brief moment as she fired a large Ki blast Madara smirked and dodged the attack his red eyes watching Fasha

"No my dear I don't think my dance card is quite filled yet" he told her Fashas eyes flashed red before she dropped to the ground

"Get away from her" Goku yelled throwing a punch hitting Madara in the back sending Madara sliding forward away from Fasha Goku walked over to Fasha

"Fasha" Goku called "Fasha can you hear me" Goku pleaded

Fasha groaned looking Goku in the eye "Bardock" she asked "what happened to your scar"

Goku laughed as Fasha shook her head memory filling her eyes "Madara" she hissed "where is he"

A wall of fire flew at Goku and Fasha Goku grabbed Fasha's arm leaping up into the air but the fire changed directions it was like magic

"Protego" Dumbledore called out the fire was repelled away from the two Saiyans before it could touch either of them Goku smiled looking to Dumbledore nodding his thanks Professor Dumbledore nodded back before turning casting a spell at another one of the Akatsuki members

Madara smiled at Goku as he flew down to his level "this has to stop" Goku said angrily "what do you gain from working with Marvel what do you gain from attacking innocent people"

Madara simply chuckled "innocent you say no one is truly innocent not really" he said "the only innocent ones are the dead because their sins are long behind them" the young Saiyan didn't know how to react to those words "your insane"

Madara's eyes glowed red "sanity is a matter of perspective Son Goku" Madara said as he and Goku charged at each other exchanging blows in the middle of the arena the fight was relatively even while Goku was younger and in better shape than Madara he was tired from fighting in the tournament than fighting with Demona Madara was fresher and had more energy to spare

Than there was something about how Madara fought it's like he knew what moves Goku was going to make before he made them and worse he was copying him Goku wasn't sure what he was doing

Was this some kind of legitimens was Madara reading Goku's mind was that how he was doing this

"I need to end this fast" Goku said as he formed energy in his hands "Shishi Dama" Goku yelled out firing a beam at Madara

Madara's blue aura surrounded his body as a giant skeletal hand rose out of it deflecting the blast before rushing at Goku trying to crush him Goku used all of his strength to keep the giant bony fingers from crushing him like an empty can of root beer

Goku grit his teeth glaring at Madara "you've given me a better fight than most Son Goku" Madara said "I'll remember this dance until the end"

"Diffindo" a voice called the skeletal hand was cut at the arm dropping away from Goku

Goku turned to see his grandpa with his wand out "perhaps I can give a better dance" Madara raised an eyebrow

"And you are" he asked

"Richard Potter retired auror I've faced the worst of Gellert Grindelwalds men the death eaters I've seen life and death through all of that I've loved my wife my son and my grandchildren" Richard said holding his wand "one of which you've tried to attack"

Madara smiled "your an old soldier like me" Madara said turning away from Goku

Goku frowned "Grandpa don't" he tried pleading but Richard didn't look at him using magic to push him away "GRANDPA" Goku yelled Richard twirled his wand through the air over his head before he fired a golden blast at Madara

Madara breathed out a wall of fire blocking the blast before using his hands to push it forward the fire spun through the air towards Richard

Richard created a shield to block the fire sweat pouring over his wrinkled face gritting his teeth before he waved his hand out pushing the fire up into the air Goku ran forward to his grandpa James Lily and Harry did the same "Grandpa are you ok" Harry asked

Richard coughed "well I can't see straight and my ears are ringing it's like the forties all over again" he said while James and Lily helped him to stand

"We've got to end this" James said as he built up the Ki in his hand Emily Harry Lily Goku Ruby and Richard did the same

"All together Potters" Richard called "give everything you've got"

Three generations of Potters fired their Ki together Madara created a spectral rib cage around him multiple Ki beams collided with the ribcage cracks began to form along the cage the beams began to push against the rib cage

Breaking through

His defense fell as the beams collided with Madara his smile stayed the same "it seems my time to leave the dance floor" he said before being destroyed by the beams nothing was left

Around the Potters the remaining members of the Akatsuki were captured the fight leaving them seeing their leader being destroyed the fight ended roughly after that Richard fell to his knees breathing heavily

"Richard" Emily said concerned dropping to her knees besides her husband "we need a healer over here" she shouted

Richard shook his head "no Emily I'm fine" he said falling down

"Dad" James and Lily said

"Grandpa" Richards grandparents said Richard looked to Harry Ruby and Goku and smiled "you three take care of each other" he said "do that for me"

Harry nodded "we promise Grandpa"

Richard nodded weakly "good good your a good boy Harry Ruby show them that Hufflepuffs are no duffers"

Ruby nodded "yeah Grandpa I will" Richard looked to Goku reaching out he grabbed Goku's hand

Goku sniffled tears in his eyes "grandpa"

Richard smiled "I'm glad I got to see you perform in the tournament congrats on your victory" Goku tried to smile but couldn't he'd been trying to win these tournaments since he was eleven years old now that he had he didn't feel anything

Not when his Grandpa was here on the ground dying Richard shook his head "don't worry about me I've been around the block you young man you've got your whole life ahead of you make it a good one" Richard said "and tell me all about it when we meet again

Goku nodded "I will Grandpa I promise" Richard smiled looking to James and Lily tears in their eyes

"That goes the same for you two I don't want to see either of you on the other side for a long long time"

James and Lily just nodded unable to say anything Richard than looked to Emily holding her hand in his "I love you" he said "I'll always love you"

Emily choked back a sob "I love you too Richard"

Richard just smiled looking up at the sky he held his wifes hand until the end came closing his eyes he died with a smile on his face surrounded by family

The official story according to the muggles was that there was an earthquake during the final rounds of the tournament killing some members of the audience and one of the finalists Dominique

Son Goku was officially declared the winner of the 1995 Tenkaiichi Budokai though he did not stay on Papaya Island for too much longer after the awards ceremony he had to return to the United Kingdom for the funeral of his adopted grandfather

The sympathy from this silenced many people who would claim that Goku should not be the winner before it even began not that Goku or his family would have cared

Some things were more important

And that's the chapter but are we done of course not but we're close to the end I want to thank everyone for the support and hope they stay safe while the world goes crazy

But I feel like we can get things back to normal if we work together wash our hands practice social distancing and all that
