PS. Miraculous future au

"Push!" a doctor screamed, not in the mood for ending the life of a newborn, or the mother.

Adrien grabbed his wife's hand. 'It's OK, Marinette. It's OK." He soothed.

"Oh ****!" The doctor exclaimed.

"What? Is something wrong?" The blond asked, Marinette being in to much pain to ask

"It doesn't look like she's breathing." The doctor informed both his co-workers and the dad to be.

Adrien's expression changed from comfort to panic. "What?!" He looked at the doctor.

"It's OK, Mr. Dupan-Cheng. We need to do surgery to get the child safely out." Another doctor assured. With a nod from the man, the surgery began. When they got the baby out, they realized she was choking on a nut. They removed it and were going to begin the restitching, but an… incident took place… and, well, Marinette Dupan-Cheng didn't make it.

"We are so, so sorry Mr. Dupan-Cheng." The doctor in charge of the surgery pleaded.

Adrien nodded, sobbing. "I- It's O- OK. You- You did wha- w- what you c- c- c- could." He looked down at his now sleeping daughter.

The doctor took a peek at the newborn. "Mr. Dupan-Cheng? Do you have a name?" He asked.

Adrien looked at the woman, so much like her mother. "Emma, Emma Emilie Dupan-Cheng." He announced.

The doctor smiled at the man. "It's beautiful."

"Emma," The new dad began, "I promise, to all the people above me, to not raise you like my father."
