A/N: And here we have another Scorpion King legend remake, but with lizards, Monsters and Mewmans from Star vs the Forces of Evil. I'll be making the Scorpion Lizard look like someone that we all know from the show. I do plan to make this one gory.

Legend of the Scorpion Lizard
Frilled Lizard Monster – Scorpion King

Globgor Butterfly – Ardeth Bay
It was late one evening at the Monster Temple on Mewni with the sun setting and both monsters and Mewmans alike were getting ready for the night, whether it be sleep or for being awake. Some of the younger monsters and a few Mewman children had run into the Monster Temple to hear a story from Globgor, the new king of Mewni. Globgor sat in the middle of the room as the younger monsters gathered around. He chuckled as he said, "So, you're all wanting to hear a story, yes?"
"Yes, Mr. Globgor." The monster and Mewman children said in unison. Globgor then said, "Then listen closely at the tale of…" He glanced out the window just as the sun almost touched a far mountain peak, "The Scorpion Lizard."
The children all looked to the window just when the sun touched the mountain and gave a flash of light.

A younger sun flashed over Mewni a long time ago as well. But even though it shone down on the world, the day was dark as it would be one of battle. A much smaller Butterfly castle sat in the middle of a desert in its starting years. Troops of Mewmans from the city and stood at the entrance in rows of four. Each one held a different weapon in their hands. The men mostly wore only loincloths, a chest plate, helmet and had face paint decorated on them. They stood at the ready for the coming army. They were defending the city from a Monster Invasion force that put Toffee's future army to shame. When they had moved into formation they raised their weapons and bellowed war cries.
Globgor: Long ago, after a few ages of the queens of Mewni, a great and fierce Monster warrior known as the Scorpion Lizard led a great monster army on a campaign to conquer the known world.
On the other side, the Scorpion Lizard's monster army, wore regal looking armor with a scorpion on their chest plates and shields. They moved in a large formation of bodies before stopping just a few yards from the protecting army. The monster army also carried a different weapon in their hands. Standing at the head of the army was a green, frilled lizard wearing armor and holding a shield just like his troops but had a bracelet with the body of a scorpion but the head of a wolf demon. He lifted his sword as he and his men gave out war cries of their own.
The Scorpion Lizard looked to the army defending the castle before looking to his own warriors. They all awaited for his command and the Scorpion Lizard pointed his sword at the city and shouted, "Haku Mashente!"
The monster army raised their weapons into the air and let out another round of yells. Then with a yell of his own, the Scorpion Lizard rushed forward with his troops behind him. The Mewman army gave their own battle cries before rushing forward as well. The Scorpion Lizard gave another yell as the two armies drew closer. When they were but a few yards away from each other, both armies gave out one final shout before cashing with each other. An assortment of bodies met in a great clash as the battle commenced.
Swords clashed together, shields blocked some strikes, spears impaled bodies and bones were crushed under heavy blows as the battle raged. The two armies of Mewmans and monsters continued to converge together as the battle raged. A huge burly monster tried to crush a Mewman with his large hands, but the Mewman moved out of the way before plunging his spear into the monster's back. A bird like monster bashed his foe in the face with a war hammer before bringing it up and crushing the man's chin. A group of rat monsters swarmed a few soldiers before a whip from another Mewman knocked them off of him. The Scorpion Lizard bashed his shield into the face one Mewman before slashing his sword down the back of another. A huge Mewman came running up to the lizard with his club raised, but the Scorpion Lizard ran before sliding underneath the Mewman and stood on his feet again. He slashed the large Mewman's legs before delivering a kick to the brute's head. The soldiers of both armies continued to fight and slaughter each other as their battle raged on. The Scorpion Orc plunged his sword into another Mewman before slashing his blade at another. The Scorpion Lizard slowly turned around just as a Mewman warrior came running up to him with his sword raised. The frilled lizard waited for the right moment as he lowered his shield and flipped the incoming warrior with his shield before bashing another in the face with his tail. The warrior rose up again and came back at him, but the Scorpion Lizard was able to grab the man's arm before lunging forward with a hiss and biting the man's head off. As the corpse fell to the ground the Scorpion Lizard spat the head out before slashing a Mewman in the back with his sword. When the warrior fell, the great monster king yelled as he rushed to engage another Mewman.
But it was for not as the Scorpion Lizard's army had been defeated and driven out. One injured monster warrior fell to the ground dead as his king and comrades walked into the desert.
Globgor: After a vicious campaign which lasted seven long years, the Scorpion Lizard and his army were defeated and driven into the sacred desert of Ahm Shere.
The Scorpion Lizard and his warriors walked deep into the desert with his troops in the barren desert as the sun bore down on them. Some dragged their weapons, tails and long arms while others hung their heads in defeat. As they continued walking, the Scorpion Lizard looked up when he heard a bird screech. But with a grim frown he continued to march across the desert.
Soon, the majority of the monster army had fallen dead due to the heat of the sun and the lack of food and water. An octopus monster fell dead against the sand and was soon by a frog monster as it dropped dead and fell before rolling down a sand dune.
Globgor: One by one, they slowly perished under the scorching sun…
Until only the great monster warrior himself was left alive
But the Scorpion Lizard still lived as he continued to walk, though he too began to feel fatigue as he kept going through the desert. He started to stumble as he walked and his eyes slightly drooped as he walked through the scorching sands and under a harsh sun. After some time, he climbed up another sand dune, but when he made it to the top and stopped as his exhaustion had become too great. He fell onto his knees though he fought to live, though he could feel his time was running out.
Globgor: Near death, the Scorpion Lizard made a pact with the dark demon god, Demonus.
The frilled lizard monster looked up to the sky and prayed in an ancient language. He promised the demon his service if Demonus would help him to live and conquer his foes.
Globgor: That if Demonus would spare his life and let him conquer his enemies, he would give him his soul.
A small black scorpion popped up from the sand and crawled towards the Scorpion Lizard. The frilled lizard monster looked down at the smaller creature and took it as a sign that the pact was made. Reaching for it with his hand, the Scorpion Lizard was wary as the scorpion became defensive before grabbing it. The scorpion responded by stabbing its stinger and the frilled lizard monster grunted in pain. The Scorpion Lizard brought the small creature up to his mouth before biting its head off for sustenance as the scorpion squealed.
Globgor: Demonus accepted his offer and spared his life.
Suddenly, blades of grass started to spring up from the sands and grew around the Scorpion Lizard. His head snapped to the sides when large ferns sprouted on either side of him. He stood back up as the greenery spread out for miles around him and tall palm trees sprouted from the ground. The Scorpion Lizard turned in a circle as he watched the plants continue to grow. Only when he had turned a full circle is when the plants had stopped growing and became the Oasis of Ahm Shere on Mewni. A smirk formed on the Scorpion Lizard's face before he threw his head back and raised his arms as he let out a triumphant yell as his plans would come to light.
The Scorpion Lizard once again attacked Butterfly Castle where his original monster army had failed. But this time he had the demonic army of Demonus by his side. These dark warriors were fiery lizard monsters wearing red armor and wielding fiery weapons. They searched, attacked and killed Mewmans that were warriors and civilians alike. One demon warrior slapped Mewman woman to the ground with his hand while he sliced off the head of a Mewman guard and stepped on the man's body after it fell. The Demonus warrior looks down at the body as his hackles peeled back and he let out a powerful roar.
Globgor: Demonus gave the Scorpion Lizard command of his army, and like an evil flood they washed away all that lay before them.
Many of the Demonus warriors flooded through the entrance of the city and continued to attack whomever they could find. Fires were started and blood stained the ground. Some killed Mewmans on the spot, while others dragged people to the highest points in the city and threw them off. The falling Mewman's screamed as they fell to their deaths. The Demonus warriors pushed down structures of all kinds as they created much destruction.
Globgor: When his task was done, Demonus forced the Scorpion Lizard to serve him for all time.
The Scorpion Lizard had a dark grin as he looked about the destruction that his new army caused. While he turned a full circle to view the carnage, he didn't notice that a statue of the demon whose eyes glowed orange before Demonus used his magic on his new servant.
The Scorpion Lizard grunted in pain as his soul was forced from his body. Both his body and soul screamed in pain as his body shook while his soul was taken. His body continued to shake and the bracelet on his wrist fell from his arm. The bracelet landed in the sand as the Scorpion Lizard's body hit the ground.
Globgor: His army was returned to the sands from whence they came,
The Demonus warriors continue to run through the streets before they were called back. One lizard demon roared before turning into black sand and disintegrated on the wind.
Globgor: Where they wait, silently, to be awakened once again.

The young children looked to Globgor in awe from the story. Mewni's sun had set a little while ago. Another voice interrupted by saying, "I hope that you're not scaring the young ones, dear."
Everyone looked to see Eclipsa walk into the room with Meteora in her arms. Globgor looked the older children and said, "I think that they handled it pretty well." Then looking down to them he asked, "Didn't you children?"
"Yes, Mr. Globgor." All the children said in unison. Eclipsa gave a sigh before saying, "Well, anyway, it's time for you all to head to bed."
"Aw!" All the children groaned. Both Globgor and Eclipsa chuckled at this before the former said, "No, she's right. Everyone should head home now."
All the children got up and headed for the gates. Globgor, Eclipsa and Meteora started to head deeper into the Monster Temple. But while the two walked, Meteora looked out a window and her eyes flashed orange for a moment. When they stopped glowing she gave a small giggle.
