Chapter 12 - Galactic Royale
Panic was an understatement when describing the situation that was brewing. Almost immediately after seeing Daichi get kidnapped, Hiroki's phone started ringing and vibrating from phone calls and messages. He picked up one of the incoming calls and talked with the person on the other side.
It was too low for Dawn to make out what the other person was saying, but it had to have been something along the lines of "Get back here as soon as possible". She was already somewhat prepared when the grown man started step backwards, before fully turning and running back towards the labortory.
The girl continued to try to listen in on the conversation the best she could whilst running alongside the adult, but she could still only make out the father's side. But it was clear that something had been suddenly brought up in the conversation when Hiroki stopped in place with a dumbfounded look on his face.
"Wait, what?" He said so loud that it was almost a shout.
He brought his phone in front of his face and swiped his thumb across its screen to end the phonecall. He didn't even say goodbye or try to explain what he was talking about to Dawn, he just started dashing in the same direction – even faster than before. The young girl, understandibly, tried to run after him.
The grown man's speed didn't drop, not even when he made it to the stairs at the professors house. He simply ran up them as quickly as possible. The girl slowed down, but still went up the steps as quickly as possible. As she reached the top, she could hear loud noises coming from inside the house – either shouting or screaming.
She took in a deep breath and walked closer to the door to open it. She wasn't sure at all how to process what she saw as she entered the house. In the hallway was her dad, and he was holding something. He turned around to look at who had come into the house.
In his arms, was Yuki. It had been the first time the two girls had seen each other in weeks. We smiled and giggled, while waving her hand to wave. Dawn's father had an awkward smile on his face. As the shock of the girl's suddenly appearance started to go down, the rest of the situation in the house became clear.
Dawn ran to the labortory doorway and looked inside before going in. Natsumi was by the main module, Charu was standing next to the tool panel and Dr. Tomoki and Aki were working on a small monitor in the corner of the room. Akira was next to his mother whilst holding an ice pack on his cheek, and Theo spun around in the office chair on the other side of the room. Amelia was standing by the doorway without her iconic messenger bag.
The cherry red haired girl walked straight over to the main module and tried to figure out what was going on. She stopped next to the mother, who continued to furiously type on the keyboard.
"So, what are you doing now?" She asked.
"We're trying to find where Daichi's been send to, but we can't find a location anywhere on Earth." Natsumi replied, but it was clear that she was more focused on the monitor.
"So what if he's on the moon or something?" The girl replied.
"The machine hasn't been restored to allow for that yet, so if he's on the planet…we can't get to him."
Dawn's eye widened and she decided to leave the woman to her work, walking around her to stand next to the boy.
"Are you gonna come with us when we find where Daichi is?" She asked him.
He moved the ice pack off of his cheek and started to talk.
"Yeah, he has to say sorry to me."
Akira responded, only to get a side glare from his mother.
'And…I have to say sorry too."
He placed the ice pack back onto his tomato red cheek and pouted. Moving her attention away from the boy she had completely ignored almost half an hour beforehand, she strolled over to the little boy who was intensely spinning on the only chair in the room.
"Do you wanna come help?" She asked smiling, but it was clear she was acting condescending.
"Yep!" He chirped as he slowed down the chair. "Maybe I'll be able to punch people too!"
Dawn snickered and looked away towards the doorway, where Amelia was still standing and inspecting the room. The cherry red haired girl walked over the tried to give her a friendly smile.
"I'm guessing you're coming too?"
"Only to get Augustus back home." The girl sharply spoke back.
"Heh" was Dawn's only way to respond.
Suddenly, an alarm that no one had heard before started ringing. It didn't have the iconic "Saru" word playing throughout and the alarm light was purple as oppose to red. The teleporter started clinking and clanking as it seemed to turn on all by itself and send electricity all throughout it. Any adult in the building except for Hikaru ran to the doorway to see the commotion.
"Dammit, what the…" Natsumi murmured, continuing to type instead of looking like everyone else.
Everyone was dumbfounded and apprehensive when a purple portal materialized in its center. They waited for a minute, and then another minute. Akira was the first one to speak up.
"Wait, there's nothing…where does this thing lead to?" He asked as he turned to his mother, whose typing had started to slow down.
"Wherever it leads, it's not on earth. It doesn't correspond to any of our coordinates."
Dawn walked forward from her place at the entrance of the room.
"Do you think it's on purpose? So that we can get to the place Daichi is?" The girl asked, looking at the two orange haired people.
"You mean, like, they want us all to go there? Seems like a way to trap us all." The boy responded.
"What's the harm in seeing? It's the only lead to have to where they have Daichi!"
She turned and looked at the young orangey-blonde haired boy.
"You got your transformation watch?"
"Mhm!" The boy hummed.
She looked to the electric blue haired girl at the doorway, and before she had time to even ask – the other girl nodded her head. She turned back to the orange haired boy.
"See? We're prepared if it is a trap anyway. All we need now is you."
Akira looked around, only to see that almost everyone was looking at him. In that moment, he felt a burst of energy and confidence that he hadn't really felt in over a week. As a result, he moved the ice pack down to his sides and ran over to the tool panel.
He quickly placed the pack on the small shelf below the panel and put on his gloves he had left in the same area. He was going to pick up the stun club, it seemed to have been replaced by a longer blue rod without a button on the bottom – but had two circular buttons on the handle area.
"Uh, mum? Where's the stun club?" He asked.
"Oh yes, that." Natsumi started. "I've upgraded it, now along with having a stun club – you have your very own monkey net on the other side. Simply press the buttons and the respective side will open."
The boy picked up the long rod and held it in his hand, and brought it down to his side. He looked up at the monkey net and grabbed it in his free hand, bringing it down to his other side.
"I'm gonna give this to him when we see him again." He said with a smirk, as he walked back up to the middle of the room with Dawn.
The little boy jumped off the chair and stretched his back with his arms up high. The other girl walked from the doorway to the middle of the room, whilst taking out her pony tail out.
"We'll keep our eyes on you." Natsumi announced.
Acting as a signal that it was time to go, the two children that acted like leaders looked at each other and nodded. They both ran and jumped into the purple vortex, closely followed the young boy and the serious girl.
Once they were completely gone from the room, the orange haired woman turned back and started to furiously type on the laptop once more – this time attempted to find where exactly the children's transformation bands were going to.
The children were teleported in the exact same fashion as the previous times, a meter or so above the ground, and falling feet first onto the cold steel.
The youngest boy was thrown completely off balance, spinning around and eventually falling onto his bottom. The girl with electric blue hair stumbled slightly. Dawn looked around the area behind them – they were in a large room and had been sent in front of the doorway.
She didn't have time to inspect the sides of the room – including the large windows – when Akira gained everyone's attention.
"Daichi!"
In front of them were three cell-type rooms that were connected to the main hub room they were in, each doorway had beams of light stopping everything from going in and out. In the middle one, Daichi had been sitting on the suspended bed. He jumped from his seat when he heard the shout.
"Akira!"
The boy with orange hair slammed his hand on the button next to the cell, causing the bars to dissipate. Daichi stumbled out of the cell and stopped in front of his old friend. He sighed.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to…" He stuttered out.
"It's fine dude! I shouldn't have said that." The other boy smiled back.
Akira lifted his fist up and left it there. It took a second for Daichi for catch on to what was going on, and when he realized – he brought his fist up and finished the fist bump. The two smiled but not for long.
"Uh, sorry to interrupt, but are we in space?" Amelia intruded.
Akira, Dawn and her sidekick all looked back to see the girl pointing towards the large window. The older two of the trio ran closer to it, and were surprised and excited by the reality of it. They really were in space.
"Woah….awesome!" Akira gasped.
"That explains a lot." Dawn giggled.
"Um," The youngest boy spoke, clearly a bit frightened. "Now that we found him, can we go home?"
Basically everyone turned to look at him, but before the red haired girl could speak – the second oldest boy spoke.
"We can't, remember in the show? Being in space means it's the final battle!"
Daichi walked into the middle of the room, regaining his usual awkward smile.
"For once, I think you're right. And I think…we don't have time to lose!" He announced, though his voice was still wavering.
"Well then we better get going." Dawn added.
She started to walk back towards the main doorway, which the youngest boy and stern girl were already next to. Akira started to run the same way, while Daichi walked behind him. That was until the oldest boy cleared his throat.
The orange haired boy turned, still holding the two gadgets. His friend's right arm was stretched out along with his hand. He realized quickly what he had to do, and threw the open monkey net towards him. He was able to catch it without bouncing it between his hands for once. He clenched it in his hand and ran up to be next to everyone else.
Somehow finding himself at the front of the group, Daichi walked close enough to where the door opened automatically and was the first one to look out of it. On the left seemed to be an opening to another hallway, and on the right seemed to be an elevator. Amelia stepped out after him.
"So, which way do you think we should go?" The boy asked, trying his best to keep his smile.
"Well obviously the elevator," The girl said as she turned, walking towards it. "We're only going to get lost if we go the other way."
She was already being followed by Theo and Dawn was already starting to go the same way.
"Huh, I guess so." The boy chuckled awkwardly.
He followed after the first three, with his best friend on his tail. The youngest girl, already at the entrance, pressed the button to call the elevator. One of the small lights above the door turned on, and slowly moved across to the left-most light. When the noises behind the door stopped, the doors opened to reveal a sizable space.
They all walked into it, as expected, and everyone seemed to be keen to stand next to the bar that outlined the wall. Daichi was the last one to walk in, and stood next to the floor buttons. As he went to press one, he noticed something unusual.
There was only one button, and it was an arrow pointing upwards! Without any other choice, he pressed it. As the door closed and the mechanical noises from around them started up again, the boy leaned against the bar like everyone else.
It was an uneventful experience. No one really spoke to each other in the minute or so there were in there – they all just stood around and listened to the midi version of a song that was playing over the internal speakers.
When the doors opened, they weren't in any real rush to get out. The only view of where they were from inside was that there was another window to view space from. As they walked out, Dawn was the first one to look to the left.
"Look, this way!" She said, starting to run off ahead of them.
Closely followed by her young companion, she was going down a long hallway that seemed to have another two sets of doors on the other side. It wasn't long by any means, but it wasn't the shortest hallway in the world. It took only two minutes to cross whilst running.
When the three slower members of the party made it to the end and met with the energetic duo, they saw what stopped them in their tracks.
On the left hand side was yet another elevator, but in front of them were two large doors. Next to them was a electronic sign saying enter, and above it was…a picture of Dawn. She stood in front of it, and just far enough away to where it didn't open.
"What are you gonna do?" Akira asked, tilting his head.
"Well, I'm gonna in there! You guys go on ahead, I'm fine with just my persona." She laughed.
The oldest boys nodded at each other and went over to the elevator doors, pressing the "call" button. Theo stayed by the girl's side right up until the lift was there and its doors opened. As the other three walked in, the boy turned.
"Good luck!" He shouted, as he ran in after the trio.
When the doors shut firmly, the girl walked closer and then through the automatic doors.
She had to be walking in the lowly-lit hallway for a few minutes, seeing the bright light in front of her get closer and closer. When she finally reached the exit, she was confused by what she saw.
She seemed to be in a massive football stadium, with pipo monkeys in every seat surrounding the main pitch. The pitch itself was only grass, with no paint or markings. There were rocks on the outline of the grass terrain. Standing on the opposite side of her, was a familiar face.
"Well isn't it nice to see each other again?" It was Paru, with both his hands in his hoodie pocket.
"Wait, it's you!" Dawn shouted. "What's all this about then?"
"It's simple, I need to kick your ass – and then help everyone else kick your friends' asses."
"Oh really? You think I won't win?"
She spoke with a grin on her face, and moving her hand closer to the transformation band.
"Guess you really are stupid, after all." The boy snickered. "Fine, have it your way."
As the boy started to walk closer to the center, the young human ran forward and jumped while hitting the band. She landed as the Starbound Ace, and strolled closer to the center aswell.
It was at that time when the other four had gone pass in their elevator ride. They were surprised to see that one wall was a giant window, and all except for Amelia had gone to look through it. They were completely shocked by the stadium, but also by the mer fact that Dawn seemed to be getting ready for something much more interesting than what they were doing.
But before they even had time to comment on what was going on, the elevator went pass the room's ceiling and the view was replaced with the darkness of the surrounding wall.
"Don't say I didn't warn you."
The teenager took his hands out of his pockets and let them fall to his side. He bent his left arm up and clicked his fingers. One of the rocks that had been lying next to the wall around the pitch seemed to randomly float into the air, and quickly flew towards the girl. She could only try to dodge it by running to one side.
"Ok, woah." The girl laughed.
But before she had any time to even imagine what to say next, another – even larger rock was heading her way. She ran to the opposite side. Looking up, she saw two more boulder-like rocks being thrown straight for her. She did an electric dash back to the middle of the pitch to dodge them.
"Dawn! Why aren't you using your lightning shots?" Natsumi called over the watch's speaker.
"This thing has what now? How do I use them?!" The girl shouted back, whilst dashing across the room again.
"All you need to do is bring your right arm back and then push it forward, the shots should come out automatically."
She saw her chance to try out her new skill right in front of her, in the form of yet another boulder. She pulled her arm back and flung it forward with his palm open, and as hoped – a shot of blue electricity flew in front of her and broke the boulder in two.
As she looked back towards the ape, she noticed the annoyed look on his face.
"Why won't you just go down already?!" He sneered.
It was almost like a vein was popping out of his skin from frustration, as boulders continued to fly towards the young girl at an even faster pace. She tried to think about what on earth she could do to win the fight.
"Wait…all I need to do is tap him on his head to catch him." She whispered to herself as she tried to dash forward whilst avoiding the projectiles.
She looked at the boy again, trying to find any course of action to get close enough. That's when the realized something – he wasn't moving. Not back, not from side to side. He was standing still, as if smugly complimenting his own power. She knew what she had to do.
She turned and started to dash in a direct line towards the boy. Her body was turned alongside her arm she had kept held back. She threw it forward and to each side every time she noticed yet another boulder aiming for her. The boy looked back at her, a smug grin still on his face.
Only a few steps away, the boy didn't move an inch. The girl launched herself off of one leg, with the other leg up in front of her. A split second before the impact, the boy realized what was going in and had a shocked expression.
Her foot collided straight with the ape's stomach, causing him to fold over a bit. Now within range, Dawn threw her hand forward and slapped his baseball cap-themed helmet and raised her hand up. As she started to bounce back from recoil, she saw the boy get a smirk on his face. But within an instant, he was covered in the familiar blue light and disappeared entirely.
Half of the crowd of monkeys started cheering, the rest stayed silent. There wasn't anything else to signify that she had won. The girl stood back up and looked around just in case, but she was done. Chances were that everyone else was already too far ahead.
"Great job! I'm guessing you want to come back now?" Natsumi cheered on from the watch.
"Well actually," Dawn thought out loud. "Is there anyway to get all these monkeys back there without catching them? Like, teleporting them?"
The band stayed quiet for a minute.
"We'll try and get that sorted now. Just stay there!" The watch went back into its silent state.
"There's not really anywhere else for me to go." She muttered.
The girl with cherry red hair walked over to the hallway she had came from, and sat down against the wall. She admired all the signs the monkeys had made for the fight, even if they were illegible.
The elevator had stopped once again, opening its doors. The children made their way out of it in a group, only to see that this parlor was smaller than the previous one. To the point where the other elevator was staring them in the face and the next entrance was right beside them.
Next to the large set of two large doors was yet another electronic sign, this time showing two unpleasant photos of Akira and Theo – obviously from one of the previous days
"How come they were able to get a good picture for Dawn?" Akira groaned.
"We're just ugly." Theo stated with an innocent smile on his face.
Amelia smirked as she continued to walk towards the elevator. Daichi turned to look at her, and turned back to the two boys.
"Is it okay if we keep going?" He politely asked.
"Of course it is! Go get that monkey dictator!" Akira commanded, lifting his fist up.
"Alright then…good luck!" The boy smiled as he walked over to the other elevator.
As the third elevator of the day arrived and its doors opened, the two boys with different shades of orange hair ran through the doors in front of them. Neither of the pair looked back once.
Once again, the elevator had a single glass wall which Daichi looked out of when he could. It was another arena stadium with pipo monkeys in the stands. On the far side of the grass plains were several figures.
"Wait, why are there four weird monkeys?" He questioned, looking back at the girl with a scared expression.
But before she had time to look for herself, they were already pass the viewing portion. Only Daichi knew what his friends would be up against.
Akira's smug look almost immediately dropped as he entered the room.
There were four members of the Freaky Monkey Five, seemingly split down the middle. On one side was almost like a couple, a small one with pink fur in a ballroom gown and a taller one with normal colours in a blue prince like costume.
On the other side were the overly muscular monkey in tight red spandex that had taken Daichi before, and beside him was the extremely overweight monkey acting effeminately.
The older boy was planning on holding the other back, predicting that they immediately be in battle, but the younger boy was already behind him. He turned, and got down on one knee to be closer to his height.
"Why aren't you already running out there?" He asked.
"You are gonna help me beat them, right? Since Dawn isn't here?"
Akira sighed.
"Look Theo." He put his open hand on the smaller boy's shoulder.
"Sometimes, we can't rely on other people to do things with us. Sometimes…we have to do things by ourselves and…and be strong!"
"…You mean like Tatsuya?"
The older boy recalled the episode where Gotchaman's past was told to the viewer.
"Just like Tatsuya. And this time, you have an awesome transformation!"
The younger boy seemed to perk up.
"Can I use it now?"
"Of course!"
"Can you hold my glasses?"
The older boy nodded and the glasses were quickly placed into his hand. The young boy took a few steps back. He hit the green button on the back of his hand as he jumped, and when he landed back down – he was completely different.
He was a Wild West Kid! He had a mainly white cowboy hat with a dusty yellow ribbon on his head. He had a matching dusty yellow bandana around his neck and on top of his white shirt – which had be splattered with lime paint on the front and lilac paint on one shoulder.
Loose white holders with two pellet-filled toy guns hung around his waist and he had dark blue jeans on. His white boots had dusty yellow spurs, completing the outfit.
The boy looked up.
"Can I go get 'em?"
"Hell yeah! Go for those two there." Akira pointed to the pair that resembled a couple.
Taking the twin pistols out of their holisters, he sprinted out of the hall and straight to the two monkeys. All Akira could hear were the pellets shooting.
Once he had managed to block the noise out, he ran out onto the pitch and heading to the other side. The overweight monkey turned around and started making kissing motions with its mouth.
"Oh, I just knew you'd come back!"
All of a sudden, he was in the direct path of the extremely weird monkey. But all he could think to do as reaction was to have a revolted expression on his faced. He lifted the stun pole into both of his hands, but his legs were like jelly. He could only watch in horror as the ape made his way to it.
Time seemed to slow down like in an action film, which helped the boy. The ape jumped and as its second foot left the ground, Akira dashed to one side. When he was out of the way, time seemed to go back to normal. The huge monkey slammed face first onto the ground. After looking at the disoriented ape on the floor for a minute, the boy pushed the bottom button and threw his net over its head.
He turned his attention towards the second oversized ape, who was punching his palm only meters away. The boy pressed the button again and closed both of it's sides – it looked like a vault pole. The leader seemed to make a motion with his hand.
"Come get some, pipsqueak!"
Feeling pumped up, Akira grabbed the pole in both his hands and started running straight for him. He moved the pole over his shoulder like it was a baseball bat, and closed his eyes as he swung it ahead of him. When he wasn't able to pull it back, he opened his eyes.
The leader of the ape group had the pole in one hand with a massive grin on his face. Without breaking a sweat, it lifted the human boy up in the air. The orange haired boy twisted and turned with a tight grip on the pole to escape, but he was trapped.
"Aw come on, what the hell!" He shouted.
But he only got smug laughter as a response from the ape. He could barely do anything that wouldn't leaver him vulnerable. That's when he noticed just how tight the leader's clothes were, and how that left him in a completely dangerous state if someone got that close. With a malicious grin, Akira swung one leg back and kick Red Monkey in the groin.
A roar that could shake mountains escaped from the ape's vocal chords as it released his grip on the boy's weapon. Landing on his feet, his mind rushed in excitement and he had to hold back so much laughter. He swiftly pressed the net button and threw it over the head of the immobile ape.
Akira smirked in delight and turned to look at his small partner, only to see a peculiar sight. The young boy was still in his cowboy costume and was shooting at the two monkeys. The monkeys, however, were completely knocked out on the floor in front of him – their heads spinning as it they were looking at stars.
"Theo, why are you still shooting at them?" The older boy asked.
"What do you mean? I can't see them!" The younger boy shouted over.
"They're right in front of you!"
"I can't see in front of me!"
Theo stopped shooting the pellets and and spun his head around. It was very clear that he had no idea where he was looking. Akira ran over to the three of them and quickly threw the net over the two apes' heads. He decided against giving the boy back his classes, seeing as he was stumbling around the place.
"Are you two ready to go home?" Natsumi spoke over the eldest boy's communication watch.
"Uh, yeah! I need to rest after that!"
It was barely a minute of Akira watching the young boy's dizzy dancing when they were teleported away.
Once again, the elevator came to a swift stop on its desired floor and its door opened. The two children walked out into yet another small room. On the electronic sign next to the main large doors, there was a photo of Amelia that seemed to come straight from the official school website.
The two stopped in front of the doors, and Daichi turned to look at the girl.
"Are you sure it's okay if I go ahead?" He whispered.
"Yes. I'm the one who has to deal with him."
With an awkward smile the boy nodded and walked over to the opposing elevator. He pressed the call button and turned to look at the girl, but she was no where to be seen. He didn't even notice that she had walked through the door already.
As the young girl stepped onto the grass with her brown trainers, she noticed the peculiar event going on amongst the crowd. That being that the monkeys in the stands were being teleported away in small groups. Within a few minutes, there were only three beings in the room. On the opposite side of the hall was Augustus and White Monkey on his small space ship type device.
The girl walked closer to the center of the pitch, and stared straight at her twin.
"'Gus, stop this nonsense and come home already." She demanded.
"Why should I? There's no point in asking, because I'm not going!" He spoke back, with an unusually wide grin on his face.
"You!" She turned to face the ape. "Change him back right now!"
"Oh please," The boy started, as her began walking closer to the center. "Don't annoy him. I'll show you how serious I am!"
In a dark flash, he teleported right into the center and lifted his left hand up. From his palm, he seemed to form a dark energy ball and as it became large enough to fit into his hand – he threw it in front of him and towards his sister. Luckily, she lunged to the side and dodged it. As it collided with the ground, it exploded and left an hole in the field.
She gaze moved back to her brother, who still held his grin and seemed to be charging up for another attack. But she noted that even only after one proper attack, he seemed to go paler and his legs quivered. She tried to ignore that fact, and focused on protecting herself.
She jumped whilst hitting her morph watch, and she landed in her Fairy Ace persona. She didn't have time to do anything else though, since she had to immediately dash to the side to dodge another energy ball. She looked at her brother again, who now looked even more disheveled, before looking to her hand. She had her gotcha wand, and knew she had to try something.
Like expected, Augustus laughed quietly as he created another energy ball and launched it towards his twin. This time, however, Amelia didn't move. When the ball was close enough, she lifted the wand in front of her and it collided with the ball. She pushed against its momentum and managed to reflect it back to her brother.
It was obvious that he wasn't expecting anything to happen, as his smile suddenly dropped and his eyes widened. As it hit into his stomach, a deep bang rang out and the room was covered in smoke. As it started to lift, the girl walked closer to the center. She saw her brother, lying limply on the ground.
"Gus!"
She ran over to him and bent down next to him. Feeling his face, she realized that his skin was freezing – except for his left hand, which was warm from the connected machine. She moved back when she felt a muscle tense. He coughed a few times before finally opening his eyes.
They were still partially red, but it seemed as if it was regaining their green tint. He looked over to Amelia, before looking over to his left hand. You could see the amount of effort he tried to use in his face, but he couldn't lift his arm. He moved his head back to face his sister.
"…I lost again, didn't I?" He whispered, before weakly closing his eyes.
The noise of someone jumping out of a chair and running out of a room played over her watch. The girl moved her wand over and touched the boy's head with it. Within moments, he was teleported back to the paradise room.
Slowly, she stood back up - with her back still towards the ape.
"Why did you do this to him?"
"Eh?" It responded.
"This is all your fault!"
She suddenly turned around and zap dashed over the ape in an instant. She jumped up and landed on his main device in front of him. Before it even had time to fall backwards, she smacked him in the head with the wand and pointed it up to towards the sky.
It was trying to say something as it lit up, but its accent was too thick to decipher with its stumbling. Right after he had fully disappeared, she lifted her watch closer to her mouth.
"Get me home."
"Right on it!" Natsumi confirmed.
"Now!"
It still took a minute for her teleportation to be complete.
When she landed, she looked around the room. Almost every single adult she knew was in the room, except for her own father and mother, and were all huddled around the main module. Dawn was clearly trying to get closer and get a better look aswell. In front of the smaller monitors, Theo and Akira were sitting in the chair and standing, respectively.
After she knew where everyone else was, she ran out of the room. All she wanted to do was to make it to the paradise room, to get to her brother.
The only person they knew was still in the facility was Daichi. And he was all alone to deal with whatever waited for him there.
