"I'm so happy that your parents let me come and stay." Kirsty Tate said to her best friend Rachel Walker. "Me too. Even if it is only for three days." She replied, "Maybe something magical will happen?" Whispered Kirsty. The two of them shared a special secret, they were friends with the rainbow magic fairies and often helped when Jack Frost caused trouble. Whenever they were together there always seemed to be a magical adventure waiting for them. The two girls were walking down the cobbled streets towards the park in the bright sunshine on a lovely summer's day. "There's a large oak tree in the park." Said Rachel "We can sit under it in the shade for a while to cool down." Kirsty agreed "That's sounds like a plan." They soon came to a large iron gate which separated the park from the high street, Rachel placed her hand on it to push it open, the metal was warm beneath her hand. After walking through the gate Rachel lead the way to the oak tree, she had told Kirsty about, they sat under the tree in the shade "Look at all the flowers." Kirsty said excitedly "They look beautiful!" Rachel smiled "They sure do, the petal fairies have done a great job." The two of them were alone in the park therefor it was safe for them to talk about their fairy friends without others hearing them. As Kirsty looked up at the tree to watch a squirrel which was sitting on a bank holding a nut Rachel looked over to a small cluster of daisies which were growing next to her when she saw something red glistening behind one of them, she blinked a few types to see if she was imagining it but it was still there. Was this fairy magic? "Kirsty look." Rachel whispered as she tugged at Kirsty's sleeve. Her friend turned to see what Rachel wanted to show her when she gasped "Fairy magic." She cried quietly just in case anyone had wandered into the park beforehand. Just then a small fairy flew out from behind the tiny flower her golden hair was plaited with tiny red roses and a huge smile on her face "Hello again girls." She said in her silvery voice "Hello Ruby." Called the girls as the moved closer to the fairy to hide her from view "Is something wrong in Fairyland?" Question Kirsty, Ruby's smiled faded "Sadly yes, would you please come with me to Fairyland?" "Of course, we will!" Both girls yelled. Ruby's smiled returned "Thankyou girls!" She cheered as she flicked her red wand sending a swirled of red fairy dust around Rachel and Kirsty, the girls felt themselves getting smaller and smaller in till they were fairy-size with sparking wings on their backs they were then whisked away in a whirlwind of fairy dust.
When the whirlwind died away the girls found themselves flying along side Ruby over Fairyland. They could see the river winding its way threw lush green meadows which were dotted with tiny white and red toadstool houses, then in the distance Rachel and Kirsty could see the four pink turrets of the Fairyland palace. The girls landed on the gravel path in front of the palace which lead to the marble steps where the King and Queen stood with a fairy who they did not know, the girls curtsied "Welcome back girls." Queen Titanina said as she and King Oberon stepped forward along with the new fairy "Girls this is StarLight the Destiny fairy." StarLight waved. She wore a blue jumper which was dotted with pink and white pon poms, silk flowed down behind, and the silk sleeves ended with blue ruffles under one hid a bracelet of gold with blue gemstones. A soft pink skirt swirled around her knees, white heels seemed to glow in the light, her brown hair fell softly over her back with a butterfly clip holding away from her face and her crystal blue eyes gleamed behind silver glasses. The girls waved back "It's nice to meet you StarLight but you don't look very happy." Rachel said, StarLight sighed "It's Jack Frost. He's taken my magical items which is putting every destiny at risk in Fairyland and in your world." She cried "That's awful." Said Kirsty "Will you help StarLight get her magical items back girls?" Asked Queen Titanina "Of course we will, won't we Kirsty?" Rachel asked her and Kirsty nodded in reply "Thankyou girls." The king said with a smile on his face "I'm pretty sure that Jack Frost has ordered his goblins to take my items to your world so we much get back there at once." StarLight said
