Chapter 6 The 12 Trainers of NMD1MU1
"So, these are the future trainers?" Admiral Bonaparte asked.
"Yeah." America responded to him. Aboard the deck of the Kalosian Iceberg ship, a group of teenagers and children are to be briefed by Professor Willow and his assistants about the culture and traditions of being a Pokemon trainer. Some of the people who are going to the other dimension are technically children, but those from Bal Masque and Sereiden are allowed to participate because they look like one.
After a long discussion, it was decided that the following ratio of candidates will be followed: 4 from the KND, 4 from the UN, 2 from Bal Masque and 2 from Outlaw. The KND sent in Numbuh 2, Numbuh 3, Numbuh 4, and Numbuh 5, and Outlaw decided to send in Shana and one of the Flame Hazes in training, Keisaku Sato. Bal Masque decided to send in Yuji Sakai, and surprisingly, another girl that looks like Hecate, but with green eyes and a simple purple dress. Her name is Fumina Konoe.
"Hey, Yuji, who is that other representative from Bal Masque?" Britain asks, as they he noticed that she and Hecate are somehow similar.
"One of Hecate's Faux Vessels." Shana responds with a hint of jealously, that just caused Hecate to just smile as if provoking to annoy her. An angry vein popped up and Shana asks "Why the hell won't you go yourself?"
"I can't, because I have business to attend with the countries." Hecate replied, but followed with a long sigh. America simply arches his hands around her neck and said "Of course! Like trade deals and stuff!"
"She is showing more emotion lately." Yuji said. "Don't know whether it was the side effect of her existence being fed by multiple people, or her interactions with the nations."
"More of the later." Numbuh 5, aka Abigail Lincoln, said. "I can't believe that Numbuh 362 survived with those lunatics either."
"Anyways, let me get this straight. Japan, you said that the UN candidates would be the Wand Trio with a special guest that they, themselves, have chosen?"
"Yes. But they requested to make it a surprise." China said. "I would be disappointed if it was a KND agent."
"That's impossible." Germany said. "I specifically warned them about not getting a KND agent as part of this."
"Or else what?" Italy asks.
"Better not to talk about it here." Germany said, to which Abigail just responds "Whatever that is, I assure you that the KND still stands with its protocols despite the mission statement being changed."
They then saw the famous R.A.P.T.O.R.s the KND made for the Wand Trio roaring across the skies, escorted by Harriers from the Amphibious ship USS Bataan. The R.A.P.T.O.R.s did a vertical landing, to the surprise of the countries, and landed in formation safely.
"Wait a minute…" Britain just stared at the KND, and Numbuh 2, aka Hoogie Hooligan, replied "VTOL is a basic 2x4 KND tech requirement for flying machines. It was your requirements that restricted us on those planes, not ours."
"Let's just not bother with any of that." Germany remarked. The Wand Trio walked of their aircraft, assisted by the adults, but they seemed to be wearing their simple, everyday, civilian clothes.
"Let me guess." Japan remarked. "KND invisible g-suits?"
"Yeah." Hoogie remarked. The Wand Trio presented themselves before the countries. All three saluted at them.
"Timmy, Trixie, Tootie, the members of the Wand Trio, reporting!" the three said in a gallantful unison. America immediately asks them "Who's the fourth member?"
"Well, we basically ran out of options." Timmy remarked as he and his squadron mates decided to throw off their salutes. "I can't call AJ, Chester, Sandjay, and Elmer because they are all KND agents."
"And I was planning to get my friend from Oregon named Pacifica, but she is still busy with some local trading business, and Veronica is out of the picture because she is actually the head of CL1." Trixie said. "Because of Tad and Chad's alliance to Father, there is no point in getring them as well."
"Don't want to let my sister in, and another friend of mine named Hannah has some business to attend as well." Tootie replied.
"What a shame." Shana said.
"But…" Timmy said. "Yesterday, someone came by our house, and we think she is the perfect candidate. She is arriving right…" Timmy pointed his finger up and above them is a green plane circling as if it is ready to parachute someone. Someone went out of it and the person released a pink parachute and landed on the deck in front of the Wand Trio. She folded her parachute neatly and packed her gear, and she bows herself and said "Hello, my name is Chloe Carmichael. I was the one invited by Timmy for this top-secret mission. Hopefully you'll enjoy my company!"
"You've got to be kidding me!" Britain, Numbuh 3, and Numbuh 5 yelled. Everyone looked at them, but Britain said, adding to his comments "That's a great candidate, alright."
"Nah, no point in hiding it." Numbuh 5 remarked. "You are Chloe Carmichael, former Numbuh 1048 of Sector NYC!"
"So much for not choosing a KND agent." Germany makes a facepalm.
"Wait, you're a KND agent?" Timmy was surprised by this revelation. Chloe immediately clarified her current status.
"FORMER KND agent." She stressed. "I already decommissioned myself post-Misaki City Incident."
"So, you are part of those who decommissioned because you felt guilty after the incident?" Numbuh 5 asks her.
"Well, let's not focus on that, but we have to GO!" Chloe just cannot stop shouting in glee. She then rushes towards Professor Willow and began to ramble
"Professor Willow, I'm so excited! I studied your dimension using available every available video game, book, competitice guide, Smogon set, VGC guide, Team builder, EVERYTHING! I cannot wait to have a starter Pokemon! Would it be a Torchic? Rowlet? oh, I would like a Mudkip!"
"Can you please calm down, even for a moment?" Shana glared at her.
"You'll get used to it." Timmy said.
"So, Timmy, how did you meet?" Numbuh 5 asks, but before Timmy can respond, Chloe pushes him to the ground and yelled "Code Freya Alpha G."
"Oh." Numbuh 5 remarked. "No more further inquiries."
"What is that code?" China asks, but Numbuh 5 immediately replies "Article 99 of the deal makes our mouth sealed on other species aside from humans and Denizens."
"Uggh…" China simply grunted.
"Anyways, enough of the drama. We are riding a plane and set off into Alola, where your journey begins." Professor Willow said. "However, before starting, I would like to brief you about the culture of the Pokemon World!"
"… and that is how the Champion of the region was decided." Professor Willow said "Any questions?"
"So, let me get this straight…" Shana said to the professor after the briefing "So, in your world, you send 10 year old children in the wilderness to literally fend on their own, catch dangerous creatures that are several times more lethal than those in our world, expect them to tame them, try to unlock their full potential by entering different gyms or tasks depending on the region, in order to become the head of an organization that can rival the executive, legislative, and judiciary of the country?"
"That sounds cool!" Timmy replied, but Shana immediately said "There is no way that sounds cool! A child caring for creatures that could literally end the world in mere seconds is no way a safe thing!"
"Nah, I'm fine with that." Numbuh 5 remarked. "Basically, their world recognizes leadership starts at 10, and trainers skilled enough to be Champion that young are worthy to be listened to. The KND has that as part of its main objectives, and I was surprised that it is handled very well in your world."
"You aren't planning a base there, aren't you?" Britain asks, but Numbuh 5 just flat out said "I'll neither confirm nor deny that."
"Haha, you are taking lessons from the good 'ol me" America bragged, much to everyone's dismay.
"Alright then." Willow said. "Spark, Candela, Blanche, please lead them to the plane and go to Alola!"
