- Three - Annabeth -

Annabeth slowly opened her eyes, squinting because of the morning sun streaming into the room. She turned around in bed, kicking up the blankets and laughed at the sight before her. Percy was facing her, his mouth wide open and drooling. His nose twitched every now and then and he was in fetal position, hugging a pillow. She smiled and just lay there looking at him for a while, until he groaned and yawned.

Percy turned to her, blinking his eyes a few times. A smile grew on his face. "Are you staring at me?" He asked, scooting closer to her. Annabeth rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Good morning, feeling better?" She asked, while he wrapped her in a hug. Percy nodded and inhaled through his nose to prove that it wasn't blocked anymore.

"Yup, much better, meaning I can kiss you as much as I want now." He said, giving her a quick kiss.

Annabeth laughed and played with tufts of his hair, enjoying being lazy on a Sunday morning in bed with him. She turned to look at the time; 10:00 am. Though she would have loved to stay in bed the whole day, she knew that she should get up and shower. "Seaweed Brain, I'm going to go take a shower." She said, sitting up in bed. Percy groaned and stuck his arms out.

"But I don't want to get up!" He complained, sounding like a child. Annabeth ran her hands through her curls, fixing them up a bit.

"I didn't say you had to get up, I just said I'm going to get up." She said, poking his bare chest.

Percy pulled the covers up over him so that only his head was poking out. "Or we can both just stay in bed and cuddle for like the whole day." He said, wiggling his eyebrows. Though that sounded like a great idea to Annabeth, she had to meet Piper downstairs in half an hour to pick up a gift she had gotten for Percy.

"We can stay in bed after lunch, I promise." She said, giving him a small smile and a kiss on the cheek. Percy sighed dramatically.

"Fiiiine." He said, stretching his back. With that, Annabeth hastily got out of bed and made her way into the bathroom.

30 minutes later…

Annabeth put her towel down and slipped into a pair of shorts. When she had come out of the bathroom, Percy was sitting in bed, playing with Riptide.

"I ordered us some pizza for lunch." He said, grinning at her. "Should get here in about half an hour." Annabeth nodded, her stomach growling. Annabeth watched Percy get out of bed and walk towards her, lazily draping over her.

"Percy! You're heavy you know." She laughed, trying to support his weight. Percy remained draped over her, his arms around her shoulders and his face in her hair.

"Now that we have lunch sorted and you're all showered, can we just be lazy in bedddd?" Percy asked, giving her a kiss. Annabeth shook her head no and gave him a small push. For a moment, Percy looked confused as she would have loved to do that any other day.

"After lunch remember. I've got to go downstairs and get something, and you should shower before you start smelling like a fish." She said, laughing at his face scrunch up. Percy sighed and nodded, turning towards the shower.

"I promise you'll like what I'm going to get." Annabeth said, giving him a kiss. Percy smirked at her.

"Better be worth more than cuddles!" He teased before walking into the bathroom.

Suddenly, Annabeth felt her phone buzz in her pocket. She picked it up to read a message sent by Piper. I'm downstairs! Got the present, very cute! She read. Annabeth smiled to herself before rushing out of the apartment and pressing down on the elevator. As she rode the elevator down, she looked at her watch. 10:40 am. Just in time. Annabeth thought.

As the elevator doors opened, Annabeth saw Piper waving at her outside. Annabeth opened the front door to be met with the warmth of the morning sun. "Annabeth!" Piper excitedly said, giving her a hug. "Here's your gift." She said, bringing a giant Nemo plush out from behind her. Annabeth laughed and took it from her.

"Thanks for picking this up for me Pipes." She said, giving Piper a smile. Piper waved her hand showing it was no big deal.

"No worries. Again, I was picking things up to take back to camp anyways." She said, adjusting her backpack.

"You think he'll like it?" Annabeth asked, squishing the Nemo.

"Of course, he will! We all know how much your boyfriend loves Nemo." Piper said. "Plus, just look how cute it is." Annabeth laughed and nodded. After about 10 minutes of talking and laughing, Piper looked at her watch.

"I should get going now. Leo and Jason are going to start to get impatient back at camp." Piper laughed. Annabeth nodded and gave her a hug.

"We'll see you at camp next week." Annabeth replied.

"Alright, well, tell Percy I said hi and I hope he feels better." Piper said, waving goodbye to Annabeth and making her way down the street.

Annabeth went back to the apartment and slowly opened the door, making sure Percy wasn't right there. She laughed to herself, when she saw him with a towel around his neck, dancing along to some music. She looked at the giant Nemo she was holding, something she had gotten him to make him happy and thought about how there was no way she could hide this. So, she stuck her head into the apartment and yelled; "Seaweed Brain!" Percy jumped and swiftly turned around, uncapping Riptide.

When he saw Annabeth, he immediately relaxed and put his hand over his heart. "Gods Wise Girl! You gave me a heart attack." He said, putting his sword away. Annabeth let out a small chuckle and watched his face go from relief to confusion. "Uhhh why are you peeking in from the door? Come on in! Pizza got here." He said, pointing to the pizza box on the kitchen counter. Annabeth smirked at him and opened the door, revealing the giant Nemo.

"I got you a present!" She yelled, seeing Percy's shocked face. Percy looked at the Nemo toy like a child at a toy store. Quickly, Percy grabbed the Nemo, squishing it a few times, then hugging it. "You got me a giant Nemo!" He excitedly yelled, his eyes sparkling with joy.

Annabeth watched her boyfriend squish the Nemo plush and smiled, thinking about how easily excited he gets over the smallest things. "Do you like it? Piper dropped off; she says hi by the way." Annabeth said, crossing her arms. Percy excitedly nodded his head, the smile growing wider on his face.

"Of course, I like it! It's Nemo!" He said, wrapping Annabeth in a hug.

"Glad to hear that, I swear you love Nemo more than anything." She joked.

"I love you, thank you." He said, picking her up and giving her a long kiss. Annabeth kissed him back, making up for the lack of kisses they both got while Percy was sick.

She wound her hands through his damp hair, chuckling softly at the Nemo he was holding as well. Their lips moved gently against each other, and Annabeth could feel Percy's smile on his lips against hers. She would have been happy to keep kissing him like that for as long as possible, but they were interrupted by her stomach rumbling. Percy pulled back and raised his eyebrow at her. "Hungry?" He asked putting her down. Annabeth nodded, eyeing the box of pizza on the kitchen counter.

Percy put the Nemo on the couch and motioned for Annabeth to sit. "Here, let me go get the pizza." He said. Annabeth plopped down onto the couch next to the giant plush and tied her hair up into a ponytail. If there was one thing, she hated about eating pizza, it was her hair getting in her way.

As she got comfortable on the couch, Percy came back with the pizza box and two glasses of lemonade. Annabeth raised her eyebrow at the one glass of lemonade, which was dyed blue.

As Percy sat down next to her, he looked at her expression and smiled. "Wise Girl, how long have you known me? You know that if I get left alone with blue food dye, I will put it in my drink." He said, taking a sip from his lemonade. Annabeth couldn't help but laugh at how defensive Percy was getting.

"Yes, yes I know." She chuckled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Percy smiled and clapped his hands together. "Now! Pizza!" He announced, flipping the lid of the box open. The smell of pepperoni pizza filled the air and Annabeth's stomach rumbled again.

"Mmmm…" Annabeth said, picking up a slice. She licked her lips as she took a bite, shaking her shoulders happily. She opened her eyes to see Percy snickering beside her.

"What are you laughing at?" Annabeth asked, pointing her slice of pizza at him.

"You're doing your happy food dance again." He said, grabbing a slice of pizza for himself. Annabeth rolled her eyes but laughed.

"It's good pizza." She reasoned. Percy nodded his head in agreement. "You know, if Sally was here, we'd be so screwed for eating on the couch instead of the table." Annabeth said. Percy shrugged his shoulders, taking another bite out of his pizza.

"Well if I don't say anything, and you don't say anything… we should be fine! Plus, they're not getting back until tomorrow." He said, flashing Annabeth a smile. Annabeth laughed at him and adjusted her seated position so that her back was against the Nemo plush.

"I have to say, this Nemo is much bigger than I thought it would be." Annabeth said, snuggled up against the plush.

"I think it's just the right size. The bigger the better." Percy laughed, giving Annabeth a wink. Annabeth rolled her eyes and kicked his side.

"Percy!"

"Talking about the Nemo!" Percy said, rubbing his side. No matter how many times they spar, or play fight, Percy never got used to how hard Annabeth could kick, even if it was meant to be gentle.

"You like it though, right?" Annabeth asked, tilting her head to the side. Percy nodded excitedly.

"Oh yeah. I'm going to bring this back to camp and put it in my room and OH I NEED TO SHOW JASON HE'S GOING TO BE SO JEALOUS! OH OH! AND TYSON WILL LOVE IT! I need to IM him later." Percy yelled. Annabeth laughed seeing Percy's smirk grow on his face.

"Alright, alright." She said, finishing up her slice of pizza and wiping her fingers on a napkin. Percy did the same, wiping his mouth and taking a sip of his blue lemonade. Annabeth swung her legs up over Percy's and stretched back onto the couch with her drink. "Hey Annabeth?" Percy asked, poking her leg. Annabeth raised her eyebrow at she sipped the ice cold beverage.

"Hmm?"

"Thanks again for keeping me company and taking care of me this weekend. I know dealing with my whiny ass might not be the best option." He said, giving her a smile. Annabeth smiled at her boyfriend. He always hated it when he felt like people were doing things for him.

"Hey, you know I'd drop anything to spend a weekend doing nothing with you." Annabeth said, putting her drink down and sitting up to give Percy a kiss on the cheek. Percy wrapped his arms around Annabeth's waist, pushing her back onto the couch.

"I love you, you know that? I love you and your ability to deal with my whiny ass." He said, giving her a peck on the lips. Annabeth nodded and played with his hair as he lay on her chest.

"Of course I know that. It's actually quite funny seeing you, Mr. Savior of Olympus being such a baby." She laughed, poking his cheek.

"I am not a baby!" Percy complained, scrunching his eyebrows together and frowning up at Annabeth.

"Baby." Annabeth teased, poking his cheeks again.

"No." Percy said, burying his face into Annabeth's chest. Annabeth stroked his soft hair and chuckled.

"Seaweed Brain, we literally spent the whole weekend watching Nemo while you acted like a little baby all sick and stuff." She said. Percy paused for a moment, realizing she was right. Annabeth laughed when all she heard was a small "Hmph." Come from her chest.

After a few minutes of the two teenagers just relaxing on the couch, enjoying each other's company, Percy looked up at Annabeth. Her eyes were closed as she moved her hands up and down his back. "Hey Annabeth, want to watch a movie?" He asked. Annabeth opened one of her eyes.

"Sure. Which one?" She asked.

"Your choice." Percy said, sitting up from his position. "I've been making you watch animated ocean movies, so this time, it's your turn." He said, smiling at her.

Annabeth thought about it for a moment. Suddenly, she had just the right movie pop up in her head. "I got it!" She yelled, sitting up as well. Percy raised his eyebrow as she turned the TV on and searched for the movie on his Netflix. Before Percy could react, an ever so familiar intro played on the TV. Annabeth watched as Percy started laughing.

"Shark Tale?" He asked. Annabeth nodded, knowing this was another movie he loved.

"Yup!" She said, popping the 'p'. "Seaweed Brain, you know I'd always be happy to watch your favorite cartoon ocean movies anytime." She said.

Percy looked at her and smiled softly. "Gods I love you." He said, giving her a kiss as she sunk into her arms. Annabeth smiled.

"I love you too Seaweed Brain." She said. The two half-bloods lay there in the afternoon sunlight as the movie played. Though they loved being in camp, surrounded by their friends, there was nothing they could compare to being able to spend a Sunday cuddled up on a couch like normal teenagers for once. Their weekend may have been coming to an end, but for demigods, any moment of being able to feel normal was far more than they could ask for.
