Hey guys- Sorry for the wait! I hope your week has been good.

Also sorry if the days are confusing in this part of the story, I got a little confused myself lol, but I'mma just say that it's Wednesday.

Enjoy! :)

Okay, can't wait to hear it. Goodnight Quinn Fabray. - R 9:09

Goodnight Rachel Berry. -Q 9:10

With that both girls turned off their phones and found themselves almost instantly relaxed, and drifting off to sleep.

Chapter 4

Cheerleading field

Quinn had been at practice for the past three hours, and was trying hard not to let her exhaustion show.

"You think this is hard!? Try standing in fire at a rock concert! That's Hard!" Sue Sylvester, the cheerleading coach, yelled her team.

Quinn didn't care that her legs were killing her, because she knew that if she showed just one sign of discomfort to Sue, she would no doubt make the girls do suicides and want nothing more than to peacefully die after an extra 1 hour of torture.

After practice, locker rooms

"So Q, have you Berry come up with a song yet?" Santana said as she dried off her hair with her personal cheerio towel.

"No. But I do have a few ideas, what about you and Puck?"

"Yeah...Not yet, he wants to do sex songs, but that kinda goes against the assignment, so we're still trying to figure something out." Santana replied with a disgusted face that made Quinn laugh.

"So you're saying you do want to have sex with him, since as you said 'it goes against the assignment'?" Quinn asked chuckling as she put her cheerios clothes back on.

"I mean sure, he's pretty attractive, and experienced. But I was talk'n about how he wants to do this," She gestured to her body, "And I can't blame him."

"Pft okay, he's not exactly my type but you do you." She said with a small smile, ignoring the thoughts of that night a few months ago. "Now let's head to class before Mrs. Barf threatens to bite our heads off again."

Brittany appeared from behind the shower room's lockers and started walking with the two girls.

"Do you think that butterflies need to shower too? I mean since we need to be clean don't they have to stay clean?" The tall blonde continued asking strange questions that none of the cheerleaders knew how to answer the entire way to class.

Right before lunch started Quinn pulled Rachel away from her locker and into the nearest bathroom. No one followed, probably thinking something bad was about to happen and didn't want to intervene with Quinn's plans. Those people were wrong though.

"Quinn! You could just ask to speak with me, instead of, rudely, dragging me off." Rachel stated with annoyance, but then saw Quinn's face and remembered she couldn't 'Just ask', not at school.

"Sorry, I just wanted to talk about the song idea." Quinn then added, "For glee."

"I know what you're talking about. So what do you think we should do?"

"Bad Romance! By Lady Gaga!" Quinn said with a smile that was quickly gone when Rachel reminded her that they already did that earlier in the year with the others.

"But it could just be a duet between us-"

"Plus isn't it supposed to be something we wouldn't sing with each other." Rachel joked, but it still made Quinn freeze and blush, then remembered the night before when she had said something similar.

"My Prerogative, by Britney Spears," Rachel said, and Quinn just shook her head.

"You really like Britney don't you?" Quinn said with a chuckle and Rachel flushed slightly.

"a little.."

"Hmm.." Quinn hummed as she thought. "I got it!" She then continued to tell the brunette who nodded her head and gave her a smile. The two girls then left the bathroom separately and headed off to lunch.

Glee Club

Everyone was piling into the glee club, chatting with each other, and taking their seats. Rachel sat in front, Kurt and Puck next to her; though she ignored Puck and was talking to Kurt about the recent gossip and Broadway. Quinn sat in the back, Santana on her right and Finn to her left. Finn held her hand and was talking about something, football most likely, but she wasn't paying attention, lost in her own thoughts.

Mr. Shue walked into the classroom with a big 'welcome' smile on his face.

"Good afternoon guys! It's officially Wednesday, therefore the first day to sing your duets!" He said enthusiastically, but the students just shifted nervously in their seats.

With a sharp inhale, Artie rolled his wheelchair to the center of the room, Mike following closely behind.

"Mr. Shue, can Mike and I go first?" He asked the Spanish teacher, who gave the two boys a smile.

"The floor is yours."

Mike and Artie performed Scream and shout by Will. . and Britney Spears, Mike doing Will. 's part and Artie doing Britney's.

Everyone in the club clapped for them until Santana spoke up.

"That was terrible, absolutely the most brutal singing I have ever heard. And I've had to sit through Lady Hummel and The Dwarf's singing far too many times. Chang sounded like a dying pig and Wheels sounded like a drugged girl who also had a few too many drinks." She declared, staring at the two boys in question and then everyone else's annoyed faces. "What?"

"I liked it San...It was Britney Spears, plus Mike's dancing was hella hot." Brittany said in response to Santana, causing Mike to blush slightly.

Mr. Shue moved forward. "Santana, that was quite rude, try not to be so discouraging to your teammates." The tall brunette just rolled her eyes and stood up.

"How 'bout I show you guys some actually good singing. Puck come on." She said walking to the front of the class and began singing the song Stay by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko.

During the whole song, Quinn noticed that no matter how hard she tried, Santana always happened to look at one Brittany S. Pierce.

After Glee club, Quinn waited by the lockers. She was supposed to meet up with Finn and go out on a date to Lima Bean, but it had already been ten minutes and he hadn't shown up. She had told Santana and Brittany to go home without her because Finn was her ride, but it seemed as though he wouldn't show up.

Another ten minutes went by and Quinn was getting sick of waiting, especially since she was left alone in the school hallway with no ride home. She grabbed her phone and sent him and angry, 'where are you' text.

Meanwhile, in the Auditorium

Rachel sat on the piano chair on the auditorium stage. Finn had asked her at the end of Glee to meet her in there, to which she had happily agreed. She knew it was stupid to have a crush on him, especially since he was dating someone, not only someone but the head cheerleader, and her new somewhat friend; but she couldn't help but like him. With his goofy smile, and how nice he was to her, she wanted him, but she also didn't want to hurt Quinn. God, these teenage emotions were killing her.

Finn walked up to the stage, Rachel had been to lost in her thoughts to hear him come in and to realize he was now standing beside her. That was until he sat down on the bench next to her, his huge form putting a shadow around her, as he put his arm on her shoulder.

"Hey Rach!" He greeted with a big smile on his face that Rachel returned brightly.

"Hey Finn. So why did you ask me here?" She asked moving a little bit away from him so that he would move his big arm that was hurting her shoulder.

"Oh well… I just thought that we don't spend much time together. Alone that is. And I thought we could just, you' know, hang out." He said with a sheepish smile. Rachel blushed.

"Oh that sounds good, I enjoy one on one conversations." She said not exactly knowing how to respond.

As much as she did enjoy talking to him, because it was Finn, she found the conversation being dull. She wanted to talk about Broadway or a great new movie that came out (Usually a Rom-com or musical.) But Finn only wanted to talk about football or a video game he liked, and if the conversation got too 'emotional' or 'intelligent' he immediately got awkward and tried to change subjects.

Rachel found Finn's hand inching toward hers now and again, and saw him look at her lips a few times. Normally she would have blushed and sat still to see what would happen, but it all felt wrong. She shifted away, but it only made Finn lean in more.

"You have very pretty eyes Rach." He said, far to close to her face for it to be just a friendly conversation. Rachel started to move back as she said, "Wow, thank you Finn. Your eyes are quite nice too," but was cut off when Finn puts his rough lips on hers. At first, she started to sink into it, Finn Hudson, arguably the most popular boy at school was kissing her, the low life. But then she realized it was wrong. So very wrong.

She immediately jumps back, almost falling off the piano bench, but catches herself and stands up. Finn gives her a confused look.

"What the hell Finn!" She shouts at him, which only furthers his confusion, leading him to have his signature constipated expression.

"What do you mean Rachel?" He questioned, which only made Rachel even angrier.

"What do you mean, what do I mean?! You kissed me!"

"Yeah...I thought you liked me?" His brow furrowed in bewilderment at her anger.

"No! Well I do like you, but that's not the point! You can't just flirt with me, and kiss me, and do whatever you're trying to do. You have a Girlfriend! I will not be a part of your cheating, even if it is small, not again."

"But-but..You hate her! Why do you care what I do to your enemy?"

"Oh my g- Finn I don't hate her! And she isn't my enemy, or at least..not anymore. She messed up, but so did I..a-a lot. But that doesn't mean that I would do this to her, even if I didn't care about her at all, this is wrong." She argued, and finally took a deep breath. "I'll see you tomorrow Finn."

"what? Don't leave Rach!"

"Don't tell me what to do Finn. And please tell Quinn that this happened, I don't want to have to do that." She sighed and started to walk off the stage. "Now I am going home, I will see you tomorrow." She ended with sternly before exiting the auditorium.

As she left she heard Finn's phone buzz, and he quietly curse before hurrying out through the other door.

000000000000000000

Quinn finally got a reply back from Finn after 30 minutes waiting alone in the hall. According to the short message, Finn had forgotten and had already left. Quinn cursed and sat on the ground thinking of who to call, since her mom was still at work and her dad was out of town; she already told Santana and Brittany not to worry about her she didn't have many options.

That was until she saw Rachel Berry walking down the hallway towards her, or rather towards the exit.

"Rachel!" Quinn called out as she quickly stood up. She noticed Rachel jump when her name was called.

"Oh. Quinn..What- What are you doing here?" She asked, Quinn saw that she looked a little guilty but thought nothing of it.

"Well, Finn was gonna take me on a small date, but he forgot and left a while ago, so now I'm here. With no ride. Wink Wink." She said, adding the last part in hopes that Rachel would offer her a ride without her having to ask; because that would be embarrassing.

Rachel muttered, "that ass," under her breath, but Quinn didn't hear it.

"Oh, well...I have a car. Or I should say, I share a car, with my dad. I could take you home, if you'd like? But I assume you already have someone else coming, like Santan-" Rachel said and was then cut off by an impatient blonde.

"No no, I don't have anyone coming. Could you please take me home? Pleassee!" Quinn begged. Great now she was begging, what was going on with her recently?!

The shorter teen just giggled slightly and nodded. Her giggle made Quinn feel warm and happy.

"No need to beg Quinn, of course I will take you home. Follow me!" She said leading the cheerleader to her car. She could save the incident that had occurred for another time, she didn't want Quinn's smile to go away.
