Author Notes: Hey guys it's that time again. I know it's been a few months but things are crazy in this world right now and I just needed time to just sit back and think. I hope you all are staying safe as well.
I own nothing but this story….Here it is….
Miley and Lilly pull back from the hug. "So do you have some free time coming up soon so that we can talk?" Miley asked Lilly.
"Yeah I have this Saturday if that's ok with you." Lilly said.
"Yeah sure that will be great. Oh by the way I really think you and Jake should really have a talk with Sarah. She was really upset about founding out that Jake isn't her blood father."
Lilly signs. "So that's what was wrong with her. She must have heard us talking last night."
"I guessing she just had a little rough day today and when I asked her about it she told me what she heard. Don't worry too much about it. I explained just because Jake isn't her blood dad doesn't means that he isn't her dad or loves her much, but you and Jake should sit down and talk with her."
"Ok thank you Miley. I will have that talk with her tonight and explain it to her. But how do you tell your daughter that her birth dad is a rapist asshole?" Lilly asked with panic.
"You don't have to tell her that part now. You can just tell her he is a bad guy that you had to get her away from." Miley said pulling Lilly back into a hug. "Everything will be fine and if you need me my number is still the same if you still have it."
Lilly smiles. "Yeah I still have it. I couldn't bring myself to delete it from my phone."
"Me either. I still have your number. I thought about calling you all the time. If I had then I we probably could have worked this out a long time ago." Miley said pulling away from the hug and looking Lilly in the eyes.
"We're going to work on it now. That's all that really matters." Lilly said then looked over at Justin and Sarah laughing and playing the piano. "They're really the best of best friends huh?"
"Yeah they are. You know they remind me of us. I can never get them to work with others. They always have to be together at the hip." Miley said laughing.
Nick walks in. "Who is always at the hip?" Nick said hugging Miley from behind.
"Justin and Sarah" Miley said looking at the two.
Nick looks at them with Miley and Lilly. "Yeah they are. I really need to talk to her dad and see if she can come over and play because that's all Justin is talking about."
"Well how about her mom." Miley says turning to Lilly. "Lilly this is Nick. Nick this is Lilly my best friend." Miley said with a smile.
"Lilly it is so nice to finally meet you." Nick said pulling away from Miley to hug Lilly. "I'm so glad you have decided to talk this out. Miley has been sad for the longest." Nick said pulling away from the hug.
"Well that makes two of us." Lilly said with a smile. "Our kids are really at the hip and all Sarah can talk about these days is her best friend Justin."
Nick laughs. "Oh trust me, other than Miley here, Sarah is all Justin talks about. It's really cute though."
"Yeah it is. I should get Sarah home and wait for Jake so we can talk to her. It was nice meeting you Nick. Miley I will text you about where to meet so we can talk."
"Sure Lilly not a problem. Sarah your mom is ready." Miley said.
Sarah runs over into Lilly legs. "Mommy did you and Ms. Stuart have your talk?" Sarah asks.
Lilly picks her up. "We sure did and we are going to finish it on Saturday. How about while me and Ms. Stuart talk you can have a play date with Justin."
"Yea can I mommy."
"Well if it's ok with Justin's dad then I don't see why not." Lilly said.
"Can we play please?" Sarah said looking at Nick.
Nick smiles. "I don't see why not." Nick looks to Lilly. "How about I get your number from Miley and call or text you the details."
"That's fine. Let's go and get daddy and get some ice cream and have a talk ok Sarah." Lilly said.
"Ok mommy. Bye Ms. Stuart see you tomorrow." Sarah said.
"Have a good evening Sarah. Lilly see you Saturday."
"Yes you will."Lilly said then walked out with Sarah on her hip.
Nick turns to Miley. "So you decided to talk to Lilly after all." Nick said with a smile.
"Yeah, we already wasted years. No need to waste more when all I really want is my best friend back. Now it can be me, Demi, and Lilly. We can be the three amigos." Miley said smiling big.
Nick laughs. "I bet you guys will be. I can see it now, weekend shopping trips and once a month girl's day out." Nick said.
"Hhhmmm you might be on to something Nick."
"Oh boy. Justin let's go before we become part of a group day out." Nick said.
"Hahaha Oh you know you would so do and love it. Just think about it, Demi and Joe, Lilly and Jake, and you and me and the kids hanging out at the beach."
"Ok a beach day does sound fun." Nick said. "We really should do that and soon."
Justin walks over. "Do what daddy?" Justin asks.
"Well me and Ms. Stuart were just talking about a beach day with Uncle Joe and Demi and Sarah and her parents."
"Yeah we should have a beach day. Can we do it this weekend?" Justin asks excitedly.
Nick laughs. "Well we can't do it this weekend. Ms. Stuart has plans and so do you."
"I do?"
"Yes you do. You have a play date with Sarah this Saturday."
"Yes!" Justin said jumping up and down.
Miley and Nick laughs. "Why don't you go get your things so we can go." Miley said to Justin and he runs off.
"Someone is excited about their play date with a little blonde hair blue eye 5 year old. Do you think he's having his first crush?" Nick asked.
"Don't you think that he is too young for crushes?" Miley asked.
Nick shrugs. "We will see when they get to high school." Nick said laughing.
"Good luck with that Nick." Miley said laughing and walking to her desk to get her things.
Nick followers her. "What do you mean good luck? Justin is going to be a ladies' man."
"Oh boy." Miley said with an eye roll. "I can see it now, Justin and some girl that is a "Barbie" making out in front of the school."
"Oh so you're going to be there when Justin is in High school?" Nick said with a smirk.
Miley turns to him with her things. "I don't know. But hey we will just have to wait and see."
Nick takes Miley's bag from her. "Oh I know very much so that you will be there." Nick said as they started walking to the door."
"Oh is that so? And how do you know this Mr. Jonas?"
"Oh I just know things." Nick said with a smile as they stop at the room door. "Justin we're about to leave come and buddy."
Justin runs over. "Daddy can we have Pizza to night?"
"I don't see why not. We can go to Pizza Hut and eat it there. Would you like to join us Ms. Stuart." Nick said as they walk out the door and Miley locks the classroom door.
"I would love too."
"Love to what?" Denise asked coming around the corner.
"Oh Nick and Justin just invited me to come to Pizza Hut with them."
"Oh sounds fun." Denise said with a smile.
"Mama you should come to." Justin said with a huge smile and the thought of both Miley and Denise eating dinner with him.
"Yea Denise join us. That way you can tell me some cute stories about Nick growing up." Miley said smiling.
Denise smirks. "Ok sure and I might have a few pictures in my phone that I might be able to show you."
Nick groans. "I don't know why I showed you how to upload photos to your phone."
Miley laughs and they all start walking to the parking lot when Miley phones ring. Miley looks at it and pulls it out. "Hey Daddy."
"Hey bud. I have some Hannah meetings I need to go to. Do you know what time you will be home so you can keep an eye on Noah?"
"Actually daddy Nick and Justin just invited me to get Pizza with them." Miley said then got an idea. "Why don't you drop Noah off at the Pizza place? I'm sure Justin will love to see his wife."
Billy laughs. "Ok the pizza place on 3rd?"
"Yeah that's the one." Miley says looking at Nick put Justin in his booster seat.
"Ok Mi. We will see you in a few."
"See ya daddy." Miley hangs up the phone and looks at Nick. "Looks like I got a surprise for Justin."
"Noah coming to have dinner with us?" Nick asks.
"Yeah, Noah is still uneasy with the whole….well you know."
"Yeah, Justin will be happy to see her. Maybe Justin can help cheer her up some." Nick said.
"I hope so. I mean she really loved the card he made for her. She has it hanging in a frame." Miley said with a smile.
Nick laughs. "Justin strikes again."
Miley laughs and walks to her car that's next to Denise. "I will see you at the pizza place." Miley says then gets in her car and drives off.
Denise gets in her car and rolls the window down. "I like her Nick, I really do. She's a keeper."
"I think so to mom. Meet you at the pizza place?"
"Yes you will. See you in a few." Denise said driving off.
Nick gets in the car and turns to Justin. "Ready to have some pizza?"
"Yea." Nick drives off. "Daddy?"
"Yeah?"
"Can me and Sarah play with my LEGO's when she comes over?"
"You guys can play with whatever you want and maybe we can go out as well."
"Yeah let's go out too."
"Ok we will talk about it soon." Nick said pulling up at the pizza place. "For now let's enjoy some pizza." Nick said while parking his car and getting out the car and helping Justin out the car. Nick takes Justin's hand and walks into the pizza place seeing his mom already at a table so they walk over and sit down. "Miley's not here yet?" Nick asked his mom helping Justin sit in a booster seat.
"She's in the bathroom. We already order drinks so we are just waiting for the waiter to come back so we can order." Denise looks and sees Miley coming back to the table. "And here comes your girlfriend."
Nick stands up as Miley comes back out moving out the way so she can slide in next to him. "Thank you." Miley said sitting down.
"Anything for you." Nick said smiling. He looks to the door and see Billy and Noah. "Looks like Justin's wife is here."
Justin looks up at the door. "Noah? I didn't know she was coming to." Justin smiles. "She can sit by me and Mama."
Noah and Billy walks over to the table and Nick stands up to let Miley out and greet Billy Ray. "Mr. Stuart it's good to see you again." Nick said shaking his hand.
"Please call me Billy Nick and it is good to see you too."
"Billy it is then, by the way this is my mom Denise." Nick said introducing the two.
"It is nice to meet you Ms. Jonas; you have a very lovely son." Billy said shaking her hand.
"It's nice to meet you as well and please call me Denise." She said letting go his hand and turning to Noah. "And you must be Noah. I have heard a lot about you from Justin here."
"Nice to meet you Mrs. Jonas." Noah said shaking her hand and letting it go.
"Hi Mr. Stuart; Hi Noah you can sit by me." Justin said pointing to the chair next to his.
"I would love to Justin." Noah said sitting down.
"Well Miley I should get going thanks again and your mom and I should be home by the time you guys get in." Billy said hugging and kissing his daughter on the forehead. He walks over to Noah and does the same. "Sorry to have to talk and run but I have a meeting I need to get to. It was good to meet you Denise next time I will have to stay and have dinner with you guys."
"Oh that would be lovely. You can bring your wife and I can bring my husband. Lord knows that man needs other friend." Denise says laughing. "I hope you like fishing because that's one of his new favorite loves and he talks and goes nonstop."
"As a matter of fact I love fishing. In two weeks I'm taking my boys, Nick is coming too; maybe your husband would like to come with us."
"Oh he would most definitely love that."
"Great it's all in place. You guys enjoy your dinner." Billy said walking away and out the pizza place.
"I didn't know dad was into fishing now." Nick said now sitting back down with Miley.
"You know your dad. He tried it two months ago with a work buddy and loved it now it's all he talks about." Denise said.
Nick laughs. "Yup sounds like dad." He turns his attention to Noah and Justin who are talking. "How have you been Noah?"
"Pretty good Nick thank you for what you did that day."
"It was nothing just glad you're ok."
The waiter walks over to the table with the drink. "Here we go. Lemonade and one un-sweet tea." He said sitting the drinks down. "Are we ready to order?" He asks as everyone and they nod. "Very well what can I get you guys today?"
